thanks for the e-calculator..just wanted to make sure, but in a very simple nutshell if I want to make 0mg e-juice...I just add 9 drops of pg base to every 1 drop of flavouring? (assuming im using capella flavourings)...but for FlavourArt, I have read 4% so does that mean 24 drops of PG base to every 1 drop of flavouring? 8-o

Thanks!

I was told that using Miralax and of course mixing it with water is the same thing as PG that is already mixed and sold as the liquid. Does any one know if that is true? Miralax is a laxitive. So I found that hard to believe, but it is Propylene Glycol.

I don't know. I wonder if it would have other things added to it? You might want investigate it further... maybe contact the company?

Yep. That is exactly what it means! Some FlavourArt flavors are so strong I only need one or two percent... others a bit more. The only way to see what works for you is to try it. You might find that you need more or less flavoring than others.

Miralax is polyethylene glycol 3350 (PEG) not propylene glycol (PG).
While some site do sell PEG liquids many have gone back to PG based liquids and no longer offer PEG. If you are not allergic to PG I would look for a viable source of PG over PEG.

Q: Do you offer a Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) recipe?
A
: No. It is our position that Propylene Glycol-based smoke juices offer a safer e-smoking experience than PEG-based liquids.

Hope this helps,
Dan

Is there any way to find out within the dropdown recipe list what maker's flavors are used(So far I've not found any flavorart ones, and that's all I've got.
I can't seem to get an error, just no response to clicking on the button, as though it doesn't exist.

Not from the drop down list, best bet would be to go to the recipe page. But most if not all were based on Lorann and capella flavor before flavorart really hit the scene.
I you have some I will add them to the list :)

Great work on your latest update!
I see you added the version of the multi-nic calculator we were talking about. I recently completed that for the iPhone app as well. Waiting for more recipes to be added until the next update. If anyone has some favorites they would like to add, PM me...

Again, great work on the spreadsheet!

Yeah actually it was easier than I thought just had to solve for X first then solve for Y, since there are multiple combinations but only one that arrives at the target requested where X and Y intersect.
Glad you got yours going, still havent gotten to play with it, LOL.

I know I saw a list of flavoring that were ok to use but I can not find it again. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction?
Thanks

It is in the excel calculator on the "Flavor List For Drop-Downs" sheet, all of the flavors are listed there including which are deemed safe to vape.
These flavor manufacturers include:

Bickford
Capella
Faeries_Finest
FlavourArt
LorAnn
TPA (The Perfumers Apprentice)
Tasty_Puff

Hope this is what you are looking for

Here are a couple Recipes to add all done in parts.

Coconut Cream Pie V2
Lorann Coconut 1
Lorann Bavarian Creme(Vanilla) 1
Tastes more like real pie no banana flavor.

Minty Marshamallow
Lorann Marshmallow 4
Lorann Creme De Menthe 2
Lorann Bavarian Creme (Vanilla) 1
Menthol Juice 1
Very good at 20% (New all day vape)

German Chocolate Cake
Lorann Chocolate 3
Lorann Coconut 4
Lorann Caramel 4
Might be better with Capellas Double Chocolate and could add a nut flavor but pretty close

Thanks Dan. I knew they were there. I should have been clearer, I was looking for one I could print to have when I am out shopping. I can't print from your spread sheet. Sorry for the confusion. Just tired I guess. 4 days of 9-10 hours a day. To much work not enough sleep.
Thanks again. You are the best!
Marcia

Scubabatdan or anyone with more computer knowledge than me:

My husband put Ubuntu on my laptop and I can only access your calculator in read only mode using Open Office. Anyone know how to save it or get it so I can modify it?

Try going into open/save options - Microsoft Office - and check the two switches of Excel / Calc conversion.
Exit OpenOffice and re-enter in it.
That work?

This must be the best contribution to the DIY forum ever. I think you should update your first post noting all the new stuff you have added since the original calculator, because I hadn't looked at it until recently thinking it was just a calculator. If you would like, I can edit it for you (just send me a PM).

I noticed the Junior Mints recipe says Menthol Liquid (LorAnn) as one of the flavors used, but LorAnn doesn't sell any liquid form, just crystals. You may want to change it to homemade so people don't buy the Menthol Eucalyptus they sell.
