Can you rebuild the coils we already have down to .75?
Great (?) minds think alike, Lynn! That's exactly what I was thinking - just build .75 if possible --- and if it works with the mod you are using.
No?

that was my thought - is there anything different with the ¾Ω coil body, compared to the others... ?

.75Ω would be an easier build - less wire

;)
Do you mean 4 wraps of 30 or 29 instead of 6 wraps?
I built an .85 coil with 28 gauge (largest I had) simply to test the wicking of the 375 mesh.

I have the grandson for awhile tonight. First time I've seen him since Friday. The girl child finally made good on her threats to move out. Needless to say I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. ;)
PARTY AT LYNN'S THIS WEEKEND!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

I was going to have you pick me up on the way down to Lynn's, Nanny, but I am rethinking that now. We would get pulled over for sure...

LOL, Jingles, getting pulled over would be half the fun! Don't forget your ID!

The comment getting pulled over reminded me of something that happened this afternoon on the way home from work. One of the ladies I work with tells me all the time I drive like an old woman. The speed limit is 55 and I generally drive 60-63mph on that road. This afternoon she pulls up beside me, blows the horn, waves like crazy and speeds off. I could see her ahead of me, I was running about 63 so she had to be going around 70. Next thing I see is a deputy sheriff whipping through the median and coming up behind me. She's in the turning lane to turn into a store and the deputy sheriff pulls up behind her with his blue lights on. I can't wait to get to work tomorrow to find out if she got a ticket or not.

yepper, just smaller ohm numbers requires less wraps leaving more room inside those tiny lil coil bodies :D

but then you'd have to watch getting to NOT ENUFF wraps, then have to increase wire gauge
which I don't like because then it requires more battery (W) to get ramp time up /// aagggggggh-a vicious circle

I have been sitting here comparing the .75 ohm coil and my recoils, I'll stick to the recoils with the mesh.
Flavor is better and vapor production is greater. Dunno why...
Maybe I'll play around with lowering the ohms on my recoils this weekend. Nothing like home cooking.

According to coil wrapping steam engine 7 wraps of 26GA Kathal 1 should do the trick! Or 7 Wraps of 30GA Ti will get you .7 Ohms and TC to boot! Oops forgot to mention that's a 2mm coil!

yepper, you can wrap WHATEVER you have a mind too inside the little coil body
if your battery can handle the minimum ohms and if you want (or can) to allow your battery to work that hard

myself I've come to NOT like the "mix" of the HOT low number ohms - it just makes the juices I use taste bad (to me)
AND I don't like that -HOT- vapor gas >>> I like a warm strong throat hit (TH) but NO with heated burn type fumes outta my drip tip

so an evolution of a coil/vapin'
•the old kanger bcc was like what ? 32-33g around 1.6mm-1.8mm I.D. silica with 'flavor wicks'
•I made that work for awhile then converted to 31g/2mm I.D./cotton
•now I like , use 29g/3mm I.D./rayon

I like a short/FAT wick - holds gobs of juice (and in reserve) and cuts down on eJuice 'bypassing' trying to get to the battery connection area...

not a fan of the THICKER gauge wire - it's beyond MY Battery/TH/coil-body parameters...

way back I remember reading a well written article about keeping at 5-6 coil wraps...
and to stay there, to adjust your WIRE GAUGE not the amount of coils (wire wrapped)
I liked the story and kind of adopted to it and how I go about it
TRYING to stay @ 5-6 wrap theory - seems to be working for me...

jus sayin'
IMO
YMMV
