I have been sitting here comparing the .75 ohm coil and my recoils, I'll stick to the recoils with the mesh.
Flavor is better and vapor production is greater. Dunno why...
Maybe I'll play around with lowering the ohms on my recoils this weekend. Nothing like home cooking.
According to coil wrapping steam engine 7 wraps of 26GA Kathal 1 should do the trick! Or 7 Wraps of 30GA Ti will get you .7 Ohms and TC to boot! Oops forgot to mention that's a 2mm coil!
yepper, you can wrap WHATEVER you have a mind too inside the little coil body
if your battery can handle the minimum ohms and if you want (or can) to allow your battery to work that hard
myself I've come to NOT like the "mix" of the HOT low number ohms - it just makes the juices I use taste bad (to me)
AND I don't like that
-HOT- vapor gas >>> I like a warm strong throat hit (TH) but NO with heated burn type fumes outta my drip tip
so an evolution of a coil/vapin'
•the old kanger bcc was like what ? 32-33g around 1.6mm-1.8mm I.D. silica with 'flavor wicks'
•I made that work for awhile then converted to 31g/2mm I.D./cotton
•now I like , use 29g/3mm I.D./rayon
I like a short/FAT wick - holds gobs of juice
(and in reserve) and cuts down on eJuice 'bypassing' trying to get to the battery connection area...
not a fan of the THICKER gauge wire - it's beyond MY Battery/TH/coil-body parameters...
way back I remember reading a well written article about keeping at 5-6 coil wraps...
and to stay there, to adjust your WIRE GAUGE not the amount of coils (wire wrapped)
I liked the story and kind of adopted to it and how I go about it
TRYING to stay @ 5-6 wrap theory - seems to be working for me...
jus sayin'
IMO
YMMV
