Put the coil in a GS base and on whatever you use it on.
Needlenose pliers to take the shroud off, pin and insulator out. Slow and careful with the insulator not to tear it.
Rewick and wrap just with your fingers holding the coil. Push the shroud on with your fingers just enough
to hold it while you screw it back into the GS base. Use regular pliers to push the shroud the rest of the way down just keep the plier jaws away from the threads on the GS base 510 pin. I use a GS Air base
that threads are already worn out.
I usually do mine watching TV and I do them in steps. I'll wind 3 or 4 coils. Then come back get them into the coil bases then come back and dry burn and rewick them and get the shrouds back on.
