I don't think they'll replace my beloved recoils, especially now that I'm using 325 mesh instead of gauze.
But they are an impressive vape. Too bad it's so hit and miss with the 1.2's.
So true, I was not a fan of the 1.2 because seemed so easy to burn and then it was one and done. However, once I start experimenting with re-coiling, I might find use for them old coils yet.
My FT came in today and got all my supplies but the cotton. This weekend I plan on sitting down and seeing what I come up with. I bought a cheap RDA (IGO-L) to practice on and thought eventually it could be a flavor tester.

Hey RC: I did stumble across them! And saw the Bases! Then I saw all the different Bell Caps! Oh Boy! There is another Style I Kind of like too! But, do you know the Size of the Bell Caps You have and Show in the Photos? I need to get my Bearings on these! Have you made different sized Tanks or have you just stayed with one size? And with the size You Use how many ml do they hold? They have some Really Stubby Bell Caps that would probably look decent on the iStick Mini! I see that some are using them on their Russians too!

I have plenty of rebuilt coils for my GS-Tank in Nickel, but ran out of coils for my iStick 20W, I've been using the Aspire K1s on that one, which are essentially skinnier versions of the GS coils without the raised portion around the vapor hole in the top. So far I've got 7 of the 8 I planned on doing done in 1.5 and 1.7 Ohm, 6 and 7 wraps of 30 GA kanthal, the reason for the 7 out of 8 is the inner wrap actually stayed in those outer caps! Yeah! Didn't have to mess with the non-woven gauze like the next one needs! Tried them out and they all vape great! Well back to work!
I bit on the .75 ohm coils and have to admit, it's a pretty good vape! Rolled the dice and was surprised at how much I like them.

I dipped my toe in, that would be diving in.
I tried a bit of TC and wasn't impressed enough to continue. Of course, with all the variables of TC,
it may not have presented the best side.
