I gotta admit, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the .75 ohm coils are. Especially for the cost!
I'm unlucky with the .75....gurguline and leakage, bad too bad....

I vape with DIY 50/50 juice.Issues or lack of issues could well be down to pg/vg blend. Those with higher pg juices are more likely to get over saturation from the 1.2 and 0.75 coils. Those with higher vg blends are less likely to encounter problems.
I used to find the 1.2's fine with 50/50 blends. Now I've moved over to mainly rta's and rda's, I use the airs less, recently when I have loaded one up with a 1.2 coil I am getting bad over saturation and loads of juice in my mouth.
Real disappointment, not sure if it's lack of use allowing coil time to over saturate or just bad batch of coils.
One optiOn is to store overnight, however I think the issue is greater than avoiding prolonged saturation without a vape.
Some 1.5's arrive today, hoping they will be better as off on holiday in a week or so, and don't want to be rebuilding whilst away.
Eleaf fans who want to rebuild - I can't sing the lemo drops praises high enough. Fantastic rta.
Hello Hobbs and welcome.Picked up a GS Air-M from a local B&M this morning. Of course it came with a 1.5 coil. Difference is night and day from the experience I posted about yesterday with the .75 in the iStick Basic. I LIKE this M and 1.5 combo. Anxiously awaiting my order of 1.5's to try in the Basic.
Disclaimer: The only experience I have so far with either the .75 or 1.5 are installed heads that came with new tanks I picked up yesterday and today ... more vaping is needed to fully assess![]()
Glad to hear you had success with the 1.5's, they are the perfect MTL coil.Picked up a GS Air-M from a local B&M this morning. Of course it came with a 1.5 coil. I'd like to mention ahead of time that the 'M will leak a drop or 2 of juice out of the base every once in a while, so in order to cure that, check my blog in order to close off the hole in the bottom of the tank base. Juice on the firing pin was always a big headache until plugging them up with silicone sealant. The M base is an older design (like the old evods that didn't have air controls) that Eleaf fixed when they came out with the GS-Tank.I use DIY nekkid (NN) 50/50 18mg/mL with sometimes a light flavoring (about 1 drop per ml) of Capella Cuppuccino for a change of pace. On rare occasion I might try some (Fuji) Apple and/or Caramel ... lightly.
The Innokin batteries output a constant 14W as designed for the Innokin Prism tanks w/1.5's ... so Purrfect for the Air M with 1.5.
No muss fuss or fiddle here. The ONLY variable is tank air. I like that.

I can only say that I did use similar charts when using the Evods but now, I would imagine with newer technology they could probably be changed somewhat. Not sure, since I don't use them any longer. Is this outdated? I read a lot of people pushing a lot more juice than this recommends through their coils?View attachment 540222

Mirrors my experience too. The .75 is a great coil in the basic, not so much to me on the istick even still in theTried a 1.5 in the iStick Basic this afternoon.
First impressions based on first use:
The density and volume of vapor is greater with the .75 coil in the iStick Basic. No surprise there, sub-ohm wins. BUT if I have to draw a little deeper and slightly longer, I'm okay with that as long as there is no gurgle and spitting such as I experienced with the one .75 coil I've tried in the iStick Basic. So far, I'm happiest with the 1.5 in the iStick Basic ... but would easily prefer a .75 if there was no gurgle and spitting.
That same 1.5 coil provides vapor of greater volume and density in the GS Air-M than the Basic. Given the same coil, the 19mm GS Air-M outperforms the 14mm GS Air 2 in the iStick basic. Not even close and no need for me to even try a .75 in the GS Air-M.
So I may fluctuate/fiddle a bit more with the iStick Basic, but on the GS Air-M and 1.5 ... I'm set.
