OK, what gets me is it says 'Authentic' Battery Cover! How Many of You have 'Plastic' Battery Covers on Your Factory eleaf OEM istick 100 TC? ~ How Many???

Skully {:{}

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to make of that. FT misidentifies materials all the time, maybe that. Personally, I've never ordered something labelled "Authentic" from them that wasn't. I don't know what to conclude. Buyer beware, I guess.

The coil is .5 ohm but I looked it up and it looks like it uses 304 stainless steel. I'm assuming that this won't work on this device and i will have to go pick up a nickel coil?
You can always use one of the variable TCR modes and set the TCR to be for 304 SS. I believe that the TCR for 304 to be 105.

A Scribe or Dental Pick along with another magnet may do the trick!?? Is it in the Cover or Body?

{:{}

Weird question... One of the magnets fell out on my girlfriend's unit. We shoved it back then but then realized we put it in backwards and the door won't seal. Any idea on how to get it back out? Unfortunately it's not on the door itself.

It's on the body side.

I tired a magnet but it wasn't powerful enough. I'll see if I can dig up something stronger. A dental pick is a good idea. I tried a sewing needle but I don't think it was strong enough.

Thanks for the tips.

Wow, That's Fantastic CA! Actually it's Pretty Incredible! Especially when you think of the Coil Being used they are Kinda Power & Juice Hungry but then there are so many other factors to consider as well! PG/VG Ratio, Air Adjustment, Length of Draw, Trigger Engagement and Real Important The Battery Used!?? But gives us an idea what we can expect in a general sense!

The Apex is 3ml? = 12ml eLiquid used.

Just My 13 Cents worth but I have a Feeling the Board in the 100 TC has something to do with it's conservative use of battery power!??

On another note; The LG HG2 Battery, do You have much experience with them? How do you like them? Have You used them Paired Up in the 100 TC? Do You Pair Your Batteries?

Thanks For Sharing this with us!

Okay, so I performed a little test. I started at 8:30 am on 2/26 with a fresh set of Samsung ICR 3000 mAh batteries and a full tank. I used the iStick as my primary device (so, business as usual) to see how long the batteries would last and how many tanks of juice I went through. The batteries died at 11:47 pm on 2/28, so I got 3 full days out of that set. I went through somewhere around 4 tanks of juice (Apex tank with a .5 Clapton in it) but I forgot to let it run dry a couple of times and topped it off. Duh. :facepalm:

When the batteries were finally almost dead (it was LATE and I needed to go to bed, lol!) I put in a single LG HG2 in it and went to bed, so I basically started running it the following morning, 2/29, at about 7:30 am. That battery died today, 3/1, at 12:47, so I got a little less than a day and a half out of it. I went through about a tank and a half of juice.

So that concludes my little experiment. I did get more than double the life from the dual battery system than I did with a single, which is good to know, and I will definitely keep running it as a dual setup. I love how long it runs without having to change batteries. :)

deviantplatypus: You might want to try the small Scribes or Gasket Tools at the Auto Supply Store they are super cheap like $4 bucks plus they come in handy for Coil Building and Repairs of your Mods!

Like the Orange Handle Set or Black & Red

That's what I'm running in my setup... they were lasting 3 days with 1.2 ohms @ 29W and have been lasting 2 days with .5 ohms @ 40W. I have been going through 12 to 15ml of juice a day.

Oh no! I have no idea how you could get it back out aside from banging it repeatedly on the table until it comes loose. At least the doors are aluminum, so it isn't magnetized in there, lol.

Hey all,

I JUST got my iStick 100w TC in the mail, slapped my Tobeco Supertank mini on it (SS coils), put the device in Tc-SS mode, and every time I push the fire button in this mode it automatically switches to wattage mode. Is there a fix for this?
Maybe run it in one of the TCR customization modes? I am not that good at TC, though, so I would have no idea what the wattage should be set to, etc. I guess I should have read ahead before I tried to offer help, lol. I bet someone already answered you much more intelligently. :D

What is the resistance of the coil and what kind of SS wire are you using? The SS mode is set for 316L stainless and the TC resistance only goes up to 1.5 ohms. If you are above it, it will automatically switch as wattage mode can handle up to 3.5 ohms.
Yeah, like this guy, lol! Much more intelligently. :D

It could be the board. I know I am VERY impressed with how stable it is! I think it has something to do with the batteries being in parallel, too, but I don't know why. I have heard a couple of different things about whether running them in parallel actually makes them run more efficiently or not, so I don't know. All I know is whatever it is, I like it a LOT! :D

I love my HG2s. I got a pair of HE2s and a pair of HG2s at the same time and I ended up ordering 2 more pair of the HG2s. They are little powerhouses! I run all of my HG2s together except for this one test I just did. I used one of the married pair for the test and I am just now draining the other one from that pair so I will charge them both together and marry them again, lol. I figure one cycle each isn't going to cause an issue, and I love know great they perform together! :)

Funny you should mention that. I was reading this post just as I was at the local hardware store and got a set of scribes. I don't have enough of a gap to pry the magnet out but I might try drilling a hole on the side to get that thing out.

I will NOT be defeated.

Would it possibly be easier to try to bang the magnet out of the door side and flip it over?

That's a great idea. Unfortunately we've had to scrub the mission. I think my girlfriend is tired of me tinkering with it. It's okay though. I can later use this as justification to buy a replacement. The white istick looks fantastic and I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting it. [emoji41]
