@cooladdict thanks a bunch for the detail pics ;) it would take a while for TC100W to be available anywhere in my country, but i already have some idea what to do with it :p. i believe eleaf use a cassette type of module insertion (just like TC40W, the board slide into a rail in the mod body, but the board for this mod insert sideways, just like vtc mini but while the vtc mini board's embedded to the cell holder with TC100W we need to remove the cell holder first then we can have access to the board) (IMHO)

anyway, yea i will strip the TC100W to have a complete clean repaint job :D. imagine a hot pink on this unibody design mod, gona be fab.

i really really can't comment on the performance of this mod, but CMIIW we can only compare the performance of TC100W with TC40W and TC60W. but with the up-gradable capabilities there will always be room for improvements.
btw @cooladdict, try the black battery doors on ur gray TC100W, the black doors will in sync with the black display :hubba:

I was going to do that with black and white mods! I will probably just get a pink skin for the mod and leave the doors gray. I like that color combo, too. :)

Yes, yes... you like pink, you're hot for pink... you want the world to be PINK!
We get it.

I'm just kidding, though you haven't posted any pics of pink mods yet.

It just strikes me as funny, because here... reds are fine for guys but we have a homophobic aversion to pink.

Which is a sociological oddity.
Because... in the United States (and elsewhere) up until, I'll say the 1920s, baby girls were dressed in sedate blues... and boys in adventurous brighter pink.

Then it flip-flopped... I don't know why.
Not everyone has that aversion! I love pink on guys. :)

I have a mag glass to augment my readers for that, but only the two hands. Makes builds harder.

So last week I was on an odds and ends spree on Amazon and grabbed one of those mid level headband magnifiers. Unfortunately, I didn't check the seller... it's on a slow boat.

Next month maybe.

:p
Oh NO! Don't you hate it when that happens? At least it is en route before the new year celebration, lol. :)

YES it is THAT hard to find pink-colored vaping-related products in my country, not even pink mouthpieces, maybe because there are not that much female vapers surfaced, yet.

oh and that hello kitty strap, it looked OK for display only, nuthin buggin me more than a danglin swingin near my mouth while im vapin [emoji13]

@Jim_MDP well, sure there was someone in the importer-suplier-vendor line that said something like "let's scrap that cute colored vaping products off the shopping chart, they would be a hard sell". so not cool.

i mean, i couldn't even find that pink colored istick20 or istick30 anywhere, and that pink subox nano i have i asked a friend to bring it from Malaysia :(
and mostly products sold here are cloned one, not that i am against clones, but see that aerotank in my pic? the tank is authentic, stellar for my tootle puffing, but the authentic kangertech coilhead for my aerotank... no i can't find it anywhere. thanks to ecf i found an old thread to "recondition" abused 510 cartridges now i literally tootling on my SEVEN reconditioned authentic aerotank coilhead :thumb: dunno how long i can stretch their life.

I need to go through the manual (so glad they included one!!). The font is incredibly small, though. I am seriously going to have to find some strong readers to see it! I have some somewhere, so I will do that tomorrow.
Just do like I did.... download the manual at Eleafwold, link for manuals on the bottom of the page. It's a PDF zoom in all you like:)

My koopor mini stopped working, so I was looking for another budget backup mod. I wanted a two battery mod, thus it ended up being between the Cuboid and the iStick 100 TC. Watched reviews on both and decided on the iStick for a couple reasons:

1) Longer battery life at the power I vape at (parallel circuit vs. the Cuboid's series).

2) I like the design of the battery door better. The Cuboid looks like it might come loose after a while. And if you ever broke the latch, you're likely SoL. On the iStick, the battery doors are easily replaceable if they break.

3) The istick is lighter in weight.

4) The iStick, being made by Eleaf, is using pretty much the same board as the Cuboid. It has all the same functionality -- Ni/Ti/SS, upgradeable firmware, and 3 memory banks with adjustable TCR.

I do like the screen of the Cuboid better, but I guess we can't have it all.

Ordered this mod, a vaporesso target tank, some coils, a new battery charger and 4 LG HG2's. My vape budget is shot for a while.

Because you posed it next to the xCube, I could guestimate its' size with my i100.
I could accept that, though I think they could all stand to trim some fat.
The Reuleaux has spoiled a lot of us. :p

If anything, I'm most disappointed by the UI peculiarities that jseah spelled out.
I very rarely use my D2 thanks to the annoying P4Y menu system.
I'd hate to have this one give me the same feeling. :(

eta: The i100's parallel sled allows for single cell use as well.
Never found a use for it. Maybe with TC in the mix ?
For me, the Reuleaux feels more comfortable gripping it as well, even though it is wider AND thicker than the i100 TC (but shorter) because of the more rounded form factor. However, the Reuleaux is not very pocketable whereas the i100 TC is. It is smaller than a pack of cigarettes, and except for the weight being a dual battery mod, it would easily fit inside a shirt pocket.

The only thing I don't really like is how you have to change the wattage when in TC mode (which I've detailed earlier). If you hold the buttons down too long, then the adjustment flies and it is very easy to overshoot your desired wattage. This means you have to "pulse" the buttons to adjust the power bit by bit and having to watch the screen flash back and forth.

If they had a toggle to switch between changing temp and changing wattage, like the Reuleaux RX200 has with 4 clicks of the fire button, the Snow Wolf has with long pressing the up and down buttons, or the Cuboid and evic VTC Mini has with 3 clicks of the fire button, it would be much easier.

Having to hold the button combo down and wait for it to toggle through the different wire modes, while slow, isn't that big of a deal. Although in an ideal world, it would have a "setting" screen like the Reuleaux and the evic VTC Mini where you can quickly toggle through the different modes.

My son LOST my loyal and faithful istick50 and now without a job. And getting ready to start college (very late in life) my pockets are empty. I need to get something but there's so many out there now it's overwhelming and Idk where to begin. Any advice? It's always the almighty dollar. I'm sure I'll come up with it somehow but I still want 1 like ole faithful that never let me down.. Any ideas for me.. Thanks in advance [emoji4]

On 1)... There shouldn't be much of a difference in battery life with parallel vs series circuits in regulated mods (except what's due to device efficiency, and as step down tends to be more efficient the Cuboid would have the theoretical advantage in this case). At the same wattage the amp draw on the batteries is identical. At 60w...

Parallel:
66 (60w+10%) / 3.2v = 20.625 amps total, 10.313 per battery

Series:
66 (60w+10%) / 6.4v = 10.313 amps per battery

Yeah, that's true assuming the parallel circuit draws amperage from both batteries evenly. I am not clear on whether that is the case or not. You always hear "parallel doubles battery capacity" and series "doubles voltage."

But, you're right that the math works out the same. A series mod, even with half the mAh of a parallel mod will draw less current for a given wattage (due to the increased voltage), thus making the life of the battery the same (in theory anyway).

I think the Joyetech/Eleaf mods are the best budget mods right now. If a single battery mod is fine, go with the Evic VTC mini. If you need a dual battery mod, go with the Cuboid or iStick 100w TC.

If you want to use an internal battery (like the old iStick 50), look at Innokin's stuff (Coolfire IV, Cortex).

Yeah, it all works out fine until we enter the real world, which seems to defy math, physics, and all forms of logic :)

I love them! My daughter has Hello Kitty on her vape, too. :) But I hear you about the danglies getting in your face while vaping. I have mine positioned just right so that it doesn't get in my way and it still looks cute on my mod. :) So you can't order stuff online, either? I would go crazy, lol!

It sounds like you got everything you need, though! What color did you get? I put my Target tank on the iStick last night (with the kanthal head) and, as expected, it was great. I am so in love with the cCells. :)

Got a white mod and a white target tank. I am anxious to give it a try. I really wish Vaporesso had Ti or SS coils, though.
