I really considered the eVic mini. reviews stated it is heavy and the corners are not comfortable. So, I passed.
I won a mini Clouper, a somewhat equal device. It's no heavier than my 30W istick. I use it more than I do my isticks. And you just drove home why I do not read reviews...Opinions are just like.......and everybody has one! :thumb:

Long time no talky....
Howdy all.

Got a 60w tc on the way.
My 2 30w are doing great, just want to try tc and like the idea of replaceable batteries. No telling what/if devices might be available with the possible regulations to come.
Got 2 Samsung INR 18650-25R.
And some Ni wire.
Cheap at Vapenw - $25 for the istick!

I like my iSticks, but have 2 that are giving me some trouble. One of my 30W ones doesn't register the ohms anymore. I don't know what happened. One day it was fine, the next day the screen lights up and shows everything but the ohms...and it won't fire anything. I've tried all sorts of "tricks" to get it to work. No luck. I have a 40W TC one that acts funny. It works fine, but sometimes, if it gets an "atomizer short" reading, simply ceases to function. I let it "rest" and turn it off and back on, but the screen remains black/blank. I plug in a USB and presto, it wakes up again. Will work fine after that until next time.....

Interestingly...both are the blue color. I normally don't get blue, but it seems that regardless of the make, model, year or manufacturer, I have trouble with blue PVs. No idea why.

You will love it Lynn. Just make sure you input the firmware when you get it. :)

If the FDA says April Fools my days of external batteries will be over and I'll load up with the current iStick 30w and live happily ever after.

I've stocked up on the 30's for the vapepocolypse.;)

Since I'm a confirmed Tootle Puffer (have never gone over 11Watts)...and...since I have NO interest in TC (too many lung health concerns)...I had NO interest in the iStick-TC40W.

But when a visiting newbie LOVED my iStick-30W's...I gave one of mine to her (still have 3 left).

When I went out to replace it I was amazed to find that every site/sale/special I ran across had the iStick-TC40W cheaper than the iStick-30W.

So I ordered the GREY TC-40W (the only "new" color) and, since its size/weight/hand-feel are very close to the 30W, am quite happy with it.

How is your battery life with the 40W TC?

For me...I really don't see any difference in battery life between the 30W and the 40W. Not that I really notice, anyway. Besides...I tend to use the passthrough feature quite bit since I'm next to a USB port most of the time when I'm at home. (which is most of the time.) Even when I'm not...they do seem about the same...or very close.

Edit: Note that I'm a very heavy vaper. I can really run through batteries in a hurry.

I had thought that the 40W had a bigger battery than the 30W and would last longer, it seems the same or shorter to me too.
Checked eleaf's site and they list the 30W as 2200mAh and the 40W as 2600mAh, would have thought that would make a bigger difference.
Gotta admit, I do like the ergonomics of the 40! And if cheaper than the 30, I would buy it instead. I don't even do TC...:D

3 x 20 watt all living, one has had crummy 510 threads since day I got it, but all OK.
1x 30 watt still works but bad with Phantom button issues, and flaky 510 Resistance jumping around, button sometimes registers multiple presses when pressing once firmly.

1x 50 watt still works well as long as I don't go over 25 or so watts with it. Over 25 it turns off, resets, and generally throws tantrums.

1xmini 10 watt still works fine, though don't use it that often.

1x TC40 works great so far, charge does last a bit longer then my 30, not a lot though.

1x60 got it not long ago, great so far.

Of all my Isticks I like the 40, and 60 the most. My 30 has given me most issues so far.

Most all of my Isticks were purchased when they first came out except the 40, and 60 which are fairly recent purchases. I've gotten my money worth out of all.

Only the 40, 60 have never had phantom button issues. Never bothered with the 100 mainly because I have other comparable non Istick boxes.

I've bought several of the 100 W lately because they've been so cheap on holiday sales - $23-$25. And I really love them. They last a long time with 2 batteries and they aren't heavy at all. My 30W is still going strong. I mainly use it for an out and about mod these days. The iSticks seem to get a lot of derision from various folks on ECF, but I think they're great mods for the price.

I don't do TC either...no interest in it at all! Perfectly happy with 6.5 to 10 watts +/- and a 1.5 GS Air coil. (usually 7 watts is my sweet spot) :)
