Hey Kaezziel: I'm Curious what Device/Devices you are using when you have had to Crank it up to 600 degrees? tanks?

I found this with the iStick 40 TC not just with the Nickle cCell but also with other TC coils. High VG eliquid.

Skully {:{}

No problem. It seems that you and I may have different vaping styles. I had the nickel coil dialed all the way up to 600 and still wasn't happy with it. I am interested to see how it works for you on the iStick 40, so I'll keep poppin' in to follow that... who knows, I might even decide to give 'em another shot. ;)

Hey Skully. I'm using the Vaporesso Target mod/tank kit. I've also tried the same tank/coil on my HeatVape Invader Mini. Both required me to dial temp up to 600°F with the nickel coil head. And even at that temp, the vape was unsatisfying to me. However, I did put a titanium coil build into a Derringer RDA and run that on both mods in TC mode and it was good at around 350°F. I know, I know... neither of those mods have a titanium mode. But it will still control temp with a titanium coil... just don't count on the temp being accurate because the coefficients aren't correct.

I also use relatively high VG liquid. Typically my DIY juice is around 30pg/70vg.

So, i recently passed the one year ownership mark with my two iStick 30s. They still work as well today as they did the day I bought them. I can't say much regarding the rest of their line-up but; Eleaf really hit it out of the park with the 30s. They remain the most reliable, trouble-free, devices I've purchased during my vaping journey. ...and I've purchased a lot.

Yep, for me the sintered ceramic coils are nirvana. I absolutely LOVE them!! Vaporesso has a new tank coming out, the Gemini, that is TOP FILL!! There will also be stainless steel cCells to go with that tank and, I'm sure, the Target tanks as well. I can't wait!!

Gemini...$29.54...takes cCELL coils...TOP-FILL...3ml. capacity...

Furytank V2...$29.99...takes cCELL coils...TOP-FILL...5ml capacity...

$29.54 Authentic Vaporesso Gemini Tank Clearomizer - 3ml / 0.5ohm / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Anyvape Furytank V2 Glassomizer Kit - Silver

Wasn't it in this thread that we discussed the Cubis BF RBA head? Has anyone received one yet? Any thoughts if you have? Thanks!
Shawn Hoefer posted over in the contest thread that he received one. I don't think he mentioned a review on it.
@Shawn Hoefer what can you tell us?

Hey Kaezziel: I Appreciate the Reply!

I do not have a Vaporesso Kit or Mod! But I do have a few Heatvape Invader Mini's which I have to say I have not used the cCell Nickel Coils on until tonight. I took a Triton 1 Tank with Yaeliq Mothers Milkshake 30PG 70VG and the .2 Nickel cCell Coil and installed on the Invader Mini. After having to remember the sequence to change temp I finally set it to 370 at 40 watts and proceeded to Vape. It was too cool, not enough flavor so I played with the temp till I got a Satisfying Vape! I got her Cranked up to 530 degrees at 42.5 watts got huge clouds but a bit too warm for best flavor so back down I came. 500 degrees was much better Flavor wise not so big clouds! But I needed to come down more to get Best Flavor which for me was Right at 470 at 42.5 watts! Sure the Clouds are much smaller but it's the Taste I'm after!

I want to Thank you for bringing up the Heatvape Invader Mini! I had put them aside for the newer mods I've recently received. The eVic Mini VT, the IPV D2, the RX200 & the iStick 100 TC. I had forgotten how easy the Invader Mini is to use! That is once I remembered how to Dial in the Temp!

The Nickel cCell seems to be doing just Fine!?? Maybe it has something to do with the Tanks I'm using? I don't know? But So Far they Just Keep on Producing! Temp is the same as the other mods Watt's are a little higher but that may be the Sanyo battery in the Invader I'm Running LG HE4's in the other Mods. I'm running Low on HE4's need to order more.

But once again I find that the Nickel cCell Coils Work Great in TC Mode in another Mod!

Again Just My 13 Cents Worth!

Skully {:{}

PS: Maybe I need to Try one of the Vaporesso Tanks!??

I have 30W isticks that I've had for over a year and are still going strong. And a couple of them saw daily use with charging every day.
I agree with Lynn. I LOVE my 30w isticks, and use/charge them daily. I have the 40w TC and don't like it nearly as much as the 30's.

@Damir - mind sharing where you can find the 30w so cheaply????;)

Oh I got it on heaven gifts , but they had some giveaway for CNY and I won 30 USD coupon :)
Quite a big surprise as this was only the 2nd time in my life I won anything hehe.. And I have played decent amount of giveaways..
If I had no coupon, I'd buy one on fasttech, it was around 23 USD with their codes .

Hey Skully. You are welcome, I'm glad that I could remind you about the Invader Mini, if nothing else. I don't really know why I was unhappy with the nickel cCell. I've only tried the one coil that came with the Target kit. Even with the Invader set at 75W and 600°F, I wasn't very impressed with it, and I never could get the flavor dialed in as well as the kanthal cCell. I'm very happy with the Target mod/tank in power mode with the kanthal cCells. I also love my Invader Mini; I usually run it with a Silver Play V2 with either NiChrome coils in power mode or Titanium coils if I want to do TC. That's my indestructible work rig. I have the steel tank insert in the Silver Play, and you already know how tough the Invader is. ;)

I'm glad that you're getting great results with the Nickel cCell though! That means that I'm probably doing something wrong (which isn't common, but not unheard of either )! I run Sony VTC5s in all of my regulated devices and VTC4s in all my mechs... for what it's worth. I've never tried the Sanyo or LG batteries.

Thanks for your 13 Cents Worth! That gives me a bit of renewed hope in the Nickel cCells and I'll have to revisit them and try again.

As for the Vaporesso tank that ships with the Target... it's a decent tank. But it is fairly low capacity and is bottom fill only. I probably wouldn't bother with it if you have other tanks that are cCell compatible. That's my 7 Cents Worth. ;)

Hey aldenf...I follow two (identically named) "Joyetech Cubis" threads on ECF.

The majority of posters (both those new to rebuilding and those who are experienced rebuilders) give the BF RBA head a thumb's DOWN...

(Since I"m too stupid/lazy to ever consider rebuilding...I tend to skim "rebuilding posts" [in any thread] but...it had something to do with them not having screws and/or posts...)

Thanks, gerry! I never expected them to have real RBA decks. The coil head is too small. I figured they would be a bigger version of the Joyetech's CLR heads. I'm more concerned about how they perform...

Sorry for barging in ,just wanted to know, how are your isticks holding up. Especially 30w version. I can get that or 40wTC version rather cheap (around 9-10 USD total with shipping due to coupon) . I prefer 30w due to smaller size and weight, and surely won't use TC yet.
I am looking for a light mod (had wismec presa and it was way too heavy for my usage, sold it a day later) so I think 30w fits the best.
So, long story short, it should last me half a year at least right ?

Howdy Damir
Are you talking about an iStick 40 W "I can get that or 40wTC version rather cheap (around 9-10 USD total with shipping due to coupon)" or about something else?

I have never seen or heard anywhere about a 40W iStick this cheap ever, even with a coupon or a super sale; not even the fake CHINESE clones

Skully I finally received my genuine Triton ver. one today, surprisingly a day earlier than tracking said and just filled the Triton and put in the cCell TC nickel coil a few minutes ago.

The Triton is a new experience for me to say the least, over my Nautilus mini, and takes getting used to, not to mention the newly installed cCell !!

give me some time to explore both a little more before I comment

First impression on the cCell sintered ceramic NI TC .2 ohm coils with my iSick 40 W TC used with the Triton version one in TC NI mode

Exceptional flavor starting @ 360 & 370 degrees F temps (40 Watts)
Flavor intensify's higher @ higher temps UP to 600 degrees

Not sure yet what my temp sweet spot is, however the cCell coil is the best coil taste I have ever tasted on this juice I made hands down compared to any other coil I have ever used! I am now fully convinced "cCells are indeed a game changer" in vaping coils at least for me!

Thanks Skully for helping me move into the Triton version one as a cCell test bed and your other excellent input!!! The struggle and the wait was more than worth it. I am more than satisfied I was right in my belief of the superiority of these sintered ceramic coils from my research now I have tryed one

I cant wait until they make cCell's for Aspire Nautilus, Triton, etc., Armored glass Tank Mini's!!!

Actually, I could have bought iStick 40w TC even cheaper than 30w, but I preferred 30w. You see, some special edition of istick 40w TC is on sale. 36 USD - 30% is around 25 USD. Since I had a 30 USD coupon, I would only pay a dollar or so for shipping (its around 6 USD).

Istick SE 40w TC

Hope I cleared it up a little bit.

pity those are not that easy to come by! :D
That's what I was thinking too Tibs. Without that coupon the isticks are about the same price here in the U.S. and you don't have to wait a month for it. Besides, HG's shipping prices are outrageous!
