I have a 20, 30, and a 40W TC iSticks, I use them mostly with 3 nautilus mini's @ fairly low wattage's
I thought I really liked my 20 & 30 watt until I got the 40 watt with TC and all its other new features

I suggest you Get the istick 40W, I believe its going to become a game changer in istick popularity for many reasons, even if you don't use the TC feature, its far better than the 30W in my experience of having the 40W for just a couple of weeks; I like it so well I am already thinking of buying another one

Personally, I'd still go with the 40w. Even if you don't use the TC, I think it's a more solid device with a better fire button andventing(forgot that's a lanyard clip) plus the longer lasting battery like Lynn said. 2600mAh (debatable) versus 2200mAh. It also fires smoother below 3.1v where the 30 goes in to PWM. I researched it but I haven't bought one yet..

About how long are your I sticks lasting and what happens when they are "done working properly? Mine is not letting me go to higher watts without burning and I'm talking about 12 watts and burning!!weird...is this a sign I may need a new one? How have you other peeps known yours was "shot"? Thnx
I have 3 20's and haven't had a problem yet. I got them when the iStick first came out last Winter. Also have a mini20 that works fine. Hope you have more luck with yours.
Auto fire, dead as a door nail, won't fire at all, etc. Try your topper on another mod at 12w. Is it a 20w?
It's a 30w ....I went ahead and bought the 40watt...
EKat, you won't regret it even if you never use the TC on it. I love mine using Kanthal, nickel, not so much.
Warranty is 90 days. You can buy a control board from FasTech. I have parts from workin on other peeps mods but unless you enjoy tinkerin, it ain't worth it. I sold my Evic VT for 75 bucks yesterday. I think I'm gonna get a 40.
For the same price, you can get the iStick40 and a sleeve from FT. $28.79 for the box, $1.34 for the sleeve.
