Can somebody explain what temperature control is all about? I'm just a tootle puffer, and don't really "get" the need for temp control.

Have you seen Phil's interview with Brandon from Evolv?

There's more--Part 1 and 2:

Istick 40W TC and some TC coils all ordered. Had I went to the site and really paid attention, I wouldn't have to have waited for the money to get on my card. They do PayPal. Plus it's a pay after delivery purchase. Teaches me to read from now on! Lol

Any input on the temp controlled 40 watt that's coming out? My coils are regular kantal so I'm not sure if it would make a difference to me, but I'm in the market for a better box mod, I have 2 30 watt isticks that do well and was considering the 50 watt before all the issues, how will the temp controlled 40 watt compare with say a hana mod with the DNA 30 or 40, or the ipv with the six I chip ( prob spelt it wrong) . I'm coming up on my vapeaversery and want to get a nice serious mod

Hey, jerseyman32. Don't know what to tell you. Practically nothing has been said about the new iStick 40TC except that it's coming. I passed my vapeaversary (ECF membership) last Friday with nothing purchased. I've decided not to be an early adopter/beta tester anymore. I guess I'm waiting for the dust to settle and the results in on a couple of APVs to hit recently or in the very near future. The new iStick is one of them.

I'm sure there will be more info here as soon as it becomes available.

Good luck!

Eleaf's just listed some specs on it's website about the TC40W and new GS Air tank:

I sure hope Eleaf doesn't add the security code to the top of the device... try the bottom instead:

From Eleaf's site:
"2. Newly added laser code

A specially designed laser code is added to iJust 2 and newly released iStick TC40W for anti-counterfeiting. The laser code will permanently be accompanied with the device. Even if you don't have the security code any more, the authenticity can also be checked with the laser code provided."

I don't see a TI TC mode... Eleaf doesn't make TI coils... just FYI.
I don't know/haven't read if this mod reads Ti. If it does, and even if eleaf doesn't make the Ti coils, there's wire and I know how to build. Just sayin' :)

From your link on the tank - down a bit:

Features:
1) Newly introduced Nickle 200 heating wire: The Nickle 200 heating wire newly used in GS Air TC head makes the atomizer compatible with various temperature control batteries

Hey Kent C - I know there is a Nickel coil and the TC40W has a mode for that. I was just pointing out that there might not be a titanium mode for titanium coils on the TC40W.
Cheers :)

Yeah.. misread that - was thinking TC and thought I'd just leave it up for others :- ) :thumb:

Since eleaf is part of the ismoka/joyetech group and the eGo One has Ni and Ti, I suspect they'll be 'coming soon' :)

Hopefully Eleaf allows the TC40W to be firmware flashed... I know Joyetech didn't on the VT.

Just saw that too - maybe 'coming soon' in V2... having lost three eleafs now 'before their time'. I'm not going for this one.
