Can somebody explain what temperature control is all about? I'm just a tootle puffer, and don't really "get" the need for temp control.![]()
Eleaf Istick thread...hmm.
Teaches me to read from now on! LolAny input on the temp controlled 40 watt that's coming out? My coils are regular kantal so I'm not sure if it would make a difference to me, but I'm in the market for a better box mod, I have 2 30 watt isticks that do well and was considering the 50 watt before all the issues, how will the temp controlled 40 watt compare with say a hana mod with the DNA 30 or 40, or the ipv with the six I chip ( prob spelt it wrong) . I'm coming up on my vapeaversery and want to get a nice serious mod

Eleaf's just listed some specs on it's website about the TC40W and new GS Air tank:

I don't see a TI TC mode... Eleaf doesn't make TI coils... just FYI.I guess I'm the beta tester this time.Lol
I don't know/haven't read if this mod reads Ti. If it does, and even if eleaf doesn't make the Ti coils, there's wire and I know how to build. Just sayin'I don't see a TI TC mode... Eleaf doesn't make TI coils... just FYI.

Hey Kent C - I know there is a Nickel coil and the TC40W has a mode for that. I was just pointing out that there might not be a titanium mode for titanium coils on the TC40W.From your link on the tank - down a bit:
Features:
1) Newly introduced Nickle 200 heating wire: The Nickle 200 heating wire newly used in GS Air TC head makes the atomizer compatible with various temperature control batteries

Hopefully Eleaf allows the TC40W to be firmware flashed... I know Joyetech didn't on the VT.Yeah.. misread that - was thinking TC and thought I'd just leave it up for others :- )
Since eleaf is part of the ismoka/joyetech group and the eGo One has Ni and Ti, I suspect they'll be 'coming soon'![]()
