Going home tonight after work for biscuits and sausage gravy!

The wife is supposedly making it the way Ree Drummond does so it should be excellent! I said she should look up how Damaris Phillips makes it but I imagine it will be great any way at all!
I have never made any of Ree Drummond's recipes and it turned out bad. Her recipes are always good!

The "User Manual" on the VT site doesn't help...

Are they implying that all 4 coil types will fire in Temperature Control Mode???
That's what I get from it. Shouldn't matter about the coil if it has a temp sensor like a thermocouple or something. Then again it doesn't say the atty comes with it either, which would have to contain the temp sensor. So I'm probably wrong on that. On second thought I'd say no, just ni and ti with a new design on a TC chip. I have no idea about plat coils but they referenced them for some reason.

She used Johnsonville Brown Sugar and Honey sausages and her most excellent tea biscuits, absolutely delicious!

Thanks for introducing me to a wonderful dish that we will be making quite often. It is quite rich, but anything that wonderful usually is. :D

I call it pork lotion, the kind that runs down your arm when you have to unhinge your jaw for the burger to fit.

That was Billy Bob's best role IMHO. Excellent Movie.
Finally got to sit down and watch Fried Green Tomato's this weekend as well, another excellent movie.

Agree 1000%!

Off topic but I'm seein sites starting to put Ismoka in the title of the products now, ie Ismoka eleaf istick, Ismoka Eleaf GS Air. They should have done it to start with to keep confusion down.:2c: They may drop the "eleaf" out eventually, too much to say :)

I've been having a problem with my iStick 30 lately and I'm hoping someone can suggest a simple fix.

I usually run one of two GS Air MS tanks or a Lemo Drop on my iStick 30. Recently both MS tanks trigger the "Atomizer Short" warning when screwed in flush with the iStick's top cap. If I back either of them out just a tad - I dunno, maybe 20-30 degrees - the iStick reads the resistance and fires the tanks fine, but the tanks are loose and shaky on the 510 threads.

One of the MS tanks starts working fine after firing it for a bit - even if I thereafter tighten it up so that it is flush with the iSticks top cap. The other MS does not correct itself so I have to run it with an AFC connector between the iStick and the tank. I push the slightly adjustable (movable) pin of the AFC connector as high up as I can, mount the AFC on the iStick, then attach the MS tank.

The first time I encountered the problem with the iStick's floating pin was with the Lemo Drop a few months ago. Luckily the Drop has an adjustable positive connector pin and works fine once I screwed the pin further into the Drop's base. However, I had to screw it in far enough that the positive pin sits completely inside of the threads (i.e. the Lemo's threads extend beyond the positive pin). It doesn't seem like the safest solution to me, but it works fine.

Any suggestions? (I've been hesitant to try the 40 TC, as I've had my share of problems with my iSticks...)
You could add a small thin washer to the top of the mod for the pins that stick out too far.

I have a similar problem with my shorty. Get a couple of those:

An idea, I guess - less than ideal though as the toppers wouldn't be flush and not as stable as I'd like them to be. Wouldn't the thing slip around too? Thanks for the suggestion - I've got all kinds of washers lying around so maybe I'll give it a shot. I've been even thinking of cutting out a circular piece of cardboard or plastic - maybe one of those credit card replicas I get in the mail all the time.

I thought those were put into the well of the mod so as to effectively raise the pin higher, rather than onto the 510 connector of the topper? From the size in the picture though, it looks to be the latter? Maybe the picture is just wrong - the description says 6.2mm in diameter (<1/4") but in the picture it looks like roughly 1/2" in diameter.

I tried to order one some time ago and the shipping to HI was ridiculous. I forget exactly, but I vaguely recall it being upwards of $20 for something that cost less than a buck. I couldn't bring myself to buy one. At the time they didn't do USPS, though.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Use a washer with a large enough O.D. to sit "on top of the mod" and the same size as your topper and it will be flush and stable....or make your own.
