Ok, I know the "full brushed" finish is holding up great. But how's the finish on the "full black" holding up? Just curious as I'm hard on mods and think I want one of each, but if the blacks peeling or oxidizing bad, I'll get two in SS.

I've had my full black since they were available and I'm not very gentle with it. I work in a factory and my pico is tossed around in a plastic bin that I keep in my tool cart at work. The paint is chipping on the bottom edges and around the usb port which I've never used. I should probably get a SS one for work, but I love the full black. However, I don't think the full black paint will hold up long term unless you are gentle with it.

Thank you for that, sounds like I'll stick with the polished.

I have two Pico's on the way and have been using a Vaporshark DNA40 for a couple years now. Wanted to try something compact like the VS and that has some different modes of TC. I am sure these questions have been answered before but I don't have enough time to read through this entire thread unfortunately.

Can anyone comment on how Nickel, Stainless Steel, and Titanium builds work? I mean do they work well, will cotton burn on a dry fire?

What exactly are the TCR modes? How does that differ from just selecting what wire you are using.

Thank you!

SS works fine and it will not burn cotton, I tried the other night while dry firing a notch coil.
I can't answer your other questions.

I have only used ss and ti modes so far (and tcr) and both of them worked perfecly.
To answer your question...tcr is where you can set your own temp. coefficient, if you happen to be using a tc capable wire type other then the normal ni, ti, or 316l ss....I find I prefer 430 ss, and to use it, you have to set it in tcr. most premade coils are going to work just fine in the preset modes (ni/ti/ss).

Now this is impressive. I sent in a ticket, about an hour ago and they sent back this message:
"I apologize for the error on your order. We will get the correct kit and a return label shipped out to you on Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience."
...and they aren't even listed as being open on Saturday. That's how customer service should work. :)

In addition, LitecigUSA sent the new kit out before noon and sent it priority mail. I will definitely be using them in the future. I love it when a company has good customer service.:hubba:

Hi everyone!

I just stumbled on this forum and I registered because i'm fairly new to vaping.

I'm looking to buy an Eleaf iStick Pico, but the tank that comes with it can hold only 2ML, now I've been looking at Aspire tanks and I'd also like to order some prebuild coils (i've been looking at Atom gClapton 0.3 / 0.5 Ohm) that'll last me for awhile, but there's so many different stuff available.. I'm at a loss on what coils work with what tanks.

I've had a Kangertech Nebox for short while but I lost it, I used it to vape 12mg nicotine on about 30 to 35 watts.

I would really appreciate it if anyone can give me some advise on what works well with an iStick Pico :)

Kind regards,
Scene

Do you do MTL or DL vaping?

You can buy the pico without the Melo III and put any 22mm tank on it. Someone (earlier in this thread I believe) managed to squeeze a nearly 23mm tank (Merlin I believe) on it and still had clearance with the battery cap. I have used the Nautilus X with 4ml tank adapter on it for MTL but now I am just using the Joyetech Cubis and Cubis Pro tanks that I have on hand (until my vapocapolypse hoard orders of RTA's are placed/received).

Mostly DL, sometimes MTL if that makes sense
The Nebox had a 10ML tank, with the iStick i'd like to get abit more than just 2ML, 4 or 5ML would be great!

Any 22mm sub ohm tank that you prefer, and is reviewed well of course, should work fine on it. It has no problem pushing the 0.5 ohm and 0.25 ohm notch coils in my cubis/pro tanks which hold 3.5/4 ml of juice and are 55 - 60 mm tall. I mostly do TC with them now but in VW I pushed the 0.25 coil up to 55w without issues.

My brushed silver arrived today. To my taste, it seems like a real step up cosmetically from the regular silver. Then again, I wrapped that one with a black vinyl leather textured wrap, and it looks and feels like a different device. This brushed one, however, will not be hidden in a wrap.

I agree on appearance. Wish I knew what the body material was. Could you weigh the difference between the brushed model and the other anodized models?
