Just got this mod yesterday and am running it with the Augvape Merlin. One question Is there a way to check the actual battery voltage rather than just go by the battery level indicator?
That works, Thanks. I thought there would be a secret button press to view voltage but bypass works.
This tank seems like it would look great on the Pico. Do you have any issues with it rubbing against the battery cap, because it's listed as 23mm?
@Ed_C It doesn't rub when I tried it briefly (before the tank started weeping on me due to bad wicking) but it is very close to touching the cap.
Just remember that in bypass mode it functions like a mech mod.
click fire button 20 times I think, or plug it in via usb and run the firmware tool. if you have the long battery bar in wattage mode then it is updated firmware 1.01
Fire button 20 times worked. I am about to upgrade it to V 1.01.
Yes, it sounds really cool for wattage mode users. I use TC 99% of the time so I haven't played with it yet.
You can also lock it (click fire 5 times) and the press and hold fire and - for 10 sec.
?? 5 clicks on pico is on off. 5 clicks on my hana modz one mod (dna 40) is lock. pico lock is press the up/down together for a few seconds.
when the pico is off if you hold the up/down it goes into M1/2/3 mode for setting TCR values, at least in the new firmware it does.
A few things. The fire button is too narrow (thin?). The mega has a wider button that should've been on the pico. The TP doesn't work very well. I'm getting a lot of fluctuations in resistance when I go outside (85°F +) to inside (70-75°F) or vice versa. I've never had that happen before (same tank) with my DNAxxx mods. It's a different vape every time I take a puff it seems. They're not bad but I've put both in their boxes and put them away.
I haven't had a chance to try out the TC yet, need to buy some different coils. As for the vape being different each time, I haven't really noticed that. For the last two years I have been using a mech with a Evolv Kick 2 and the DC output is definitely smoother, but not that big a deal. The button hasn't been an issue for me either. All and all, for 34 bucks, with tank included, I'm pretty impressed. Same goes for my wife's Joyetech VTC mini, which is pretty much the same device. I think they both offer a lot for the money.
