ELeaf hit a little home run with this one, everybody is loving these tiny mods these days and with a user replaceable battery and pretty incredible price were gonna be seeing a ton of these things in circulation...it's gonna start a mini-mod war.

Awesome pics, thanks! What's that mod on the left, hella cool! Do you like it?

Also, pink Pico arrived today, wifey loves it! Build quality seems great, which is expected; shes been using her istick 30w for a year with a hiccup. Great little tank on there as well, super easy to fill and no leaks yet :)

Thanks! That's the Castle 60 by Surefire. Yeah I love it really. Everything about it's look and feel is top notch, and it has the best feeling fire button I've ever tried. It's my favorite mod to thumb fire with four fingers gripping it. I love firing the iStick 50 with my index finger though and it's the only mod I like to fire that way, so I've really been hoping for a small, rounded mod with a trigger like that, then the Pico came out of nowhere. I wouldn't have bought the Tesla Nano had the Pico come out first. I used to have mods with removable 18650s but then went for smaller all in one mods and was always looking for something with style so had to have the Castle. The Castle is very simple though. The software doesn't do a whole lot and you only have the one button/dial.

I've run the Melo 3 with two tanks now with juices I know, with the Eleaf EC .5 ohm titanium coils, and am getting LESS flavor then both Tron and Cubis tanks. I'll give the RTA a chance with a Ti build. I like the tank itself, good airflow, NO leaking anywhere thus far, but lacking flavor in TC mode.

Welp, i can confirm the uwell crown doesn't fit on the pico. Air ring hits the battery cap. It seems you must be carefull which atty/tank one chooses for this mod.

Too bad about the Crown. The AFC ring on that tank is 24mm. However, for others, I'm still sure that a 23mm tank will fit. Just can't test it until mine arrive.

There is a review out showing a 23mm atty working on it so I can be sure you are correct with this. With the plethora of tanks out there the only way to be sure everything will sit is that heat sink addon, thanks again Defdock :) The only mode that may be effected by this would be bypass with regards to voltage drop. All said, I'll rock mine with the mello III. Thus far I love it.

For the peeps who have & love the Melo III which coils is everyone loving in it? Any RBA's heads? Should be receiving my kit today. I will post if the Triton RTA kit head will fit. I did try & post that the Triton RTA fits in the Tobeco Super Tank Mini since the coils which are compatible with the Melo III are the same as the ones in the STM. But in daylight it does fit but the coil does screw onto the base but not to the top of the chimney. Don't pull on the tank or else you will have a flood. That's what you get when you try things at night with low lighting.

I use a 22mm rda but also use a 22mm x 12mm silicone slip ring to control leaking for pocket carry. Hopefully that extra mm will allow the slip ring to fit between the battery cap and the rda.

I hope there is a silicone sleeve coming for the pico.

From the early days I have been wishing for a side by side mod so my rig could be shorter. The Pico is that solution. For a Pico II May be they will figure out how to shrink the electronics so the mod can be even shorter on the atomizer side, meaning a longer cover on the battery side. This form factor might also be done with a rectangular case. That could make the electronics an easier fit so the atomizer side can be shorter and give more space for venting on the battery side. I've got one on order from FT.

Can someone please post the kinds of coils that can be used in the Melo3? I want to go ahead and order some replacement coils from FT so that hopefully they'll be here before I need them. Thanks!

I've never tried the Melo coils, and based on the review above, I'm not sure I'll bother, but so far so good with the Atlantis/Triton coils. I heard they'd work, but I was leary before installing one after doing a side by side. They're close but not exact.

As you can hopefully see in the pictures before (one with a flash, one without) is that when put side by side and lining up the center threaded base, the Triton coil on the left goes a touch higher and the Melo on the right goes a touch lower. Overall, the Triton is a hair taller.

Interestingly though, as mentioned above, the top thread on both the coils do NOT thread into anything in the chimney, they simply press against a seal. I have no idea if all Melo tanks are like this or just the III. Here are the pictures.....

And for good measure, here's the mod fitting nicely in the car.....

I hope there is a silicone sleeve too. Didn't get one for my evic minis & they are showing wear on the bottom corners.

I got both a faux leather and a silicone sleeve for my vtc mini. For a while I thought I liked the leather one better but finally settled on using the silicone. For me it's about grip. Ecigs don't like being dropped.
