Eleaf iStick "pico"

I've never tried the Melo coils, and based on the review above, I'm not sure I'll bother, but so far so good with the Atlantis/Triton coils. I heard they'd work, but I was leary before installing one after doing a side by side. They're close but not exact.

As you can hopefully see in the pictures before (one with a flash, one without) is that when put side by side and lining up the center threaded base, the Triton coil on the left goes a touch higher and the Melo on the right goes a touch lower. Overall, the Triton is a hair taller.

Interestingly though, as mentioned above, the top thread on both the coils do NOT thread into anything in the chimney, they simply press against a seal. I have no idea if all Melo tanks are like this or just the III. Here are the pictures.....

And for good measure, here's the mod fitting nicely in the car.....

we know the aspire atlantis/triton coils will work
also the Target cCell coils should also work.....those are what I want to try in it, specially the SS version......and obviously, the eleaf coils

I'm really loving the looks, form factor and pocket-ability of the mod. Time will tell if it holds up of course. Though the window looks small, it's the brightest and clearest screen I currently have and the info is at least as large if not larger.

So far so good with the tank (now that I have it open). After several refills with a .5 Triton Clapton installed, it hasn't leaked at all and performs as expected.

I have a 3000mAh LG HG2 20A battery in it. As long as I keep it under 60 watts, it should be fine, and considering a rarely go above 40, I don't think I'll ever pull more than 13 amps.

I love threads with pictures, so if anyone is curious about some comparisons, here you go.....

What a lovely vape family you have! These pictures are great! I love the white Pico. It is definitely more of a marshmallow white than the iStick 100w TC but that white-white is perfect for this little cutie!

Yeah... It seems like FT has kinda slipped back into their Old Ways lately. And I have had to Cancelled a few orders when an item would go from "In Stock" to "Ships in 3 Days" to the Dreaded "Restocking".

It kinda Pisses Me Off when I have some 89 Cent Drip Tip (that was supposed to be In Stock) in a 6 or 7 Item order Hold Up the entire order.

But such is Life when dealing with FT. And if I Need/Want something right away, I get it State Side for a Few Dollars More.

I ordered a pack of ceramic coils for the Reaper Plus a week ago and they were shipped the next day but have been sitting at "origin" for a week now. I think I will cancel the tweezers and get the ones that don't have the tweezers on the end. I already have ceramic tweezers anyway, and I didn't know that there was an issue with them snapping in half. I think after all this waiting I would snap in half if that happened. IF I ever get them, that is.

My Pico still hasn't shipped yet. Wah. On the upside, though, I got a US Simba tank today and I think it might sit pretty well on the Pico! It's a 22 mm tank, so the only issue would be if it's too tall and makes the mod tippy, but ALL of my mods are tippy when I don't pay attention, lol. So far I LOVE this tank, though, and since it takes ceramic coils I will be using it a LOT. Now for that Pico....

But since the Chinese Holidays, it seems like Everything is Out the Window. And there are More Glitches than smooth orders.

And that was why I Didn't Jump on the Pico Pre-Sales that FT has.

For now I'm using the Griffin on the Pico with SS316L on their preset SS316 setting 390 degrees @ 29.5 watts & it Vaping great! Nice & smooth with great vapor production. Griffin is a bit too tall though.

I also ordered just the mod during their Easter weekend "bunny" sale. If it goes to "restocking" on 4/9, I will cancel it. Not playing that game again.

One of the reasons I only use rda's is they are much shorter than tanks. I see you have a vtc mini. How do the two compare for handling?

Yep, same here. They were great for about a year but now it's just like the old days. They must have lost a lot of staff over the holiday. I just can't stand that thing where you have to respond to every single response they send you or your order is on hold again. Not EVERYTHING requires a response from me, especially if they are just responding to what I said! sheesh.

I'm in the same boat as you (two ordered during CNY sale) though my order now gives a 4/6 ship date. We'll see. They did fine with my pre-order iStick 100 TC ship date.

I got both a faux leather and a silicone sleeve for my vtc mini. For a while I thought I liked the leather one better but finally settled on using the silicone. For me it's about grip. Ecigs don't like being dropped.

I also got both and settled on the leather one. lol

I really hope they make one for the Pico.

Hi @love coffee! I'm glad you found the thread! I only tagged 3 known iStick peeps because I was running out the door to work but I was hoping more would find their way here.

Heres another Istick peep to include next time! hehe my first regulateds (or mods for that matter) were the MVP2 and the kanger IPOW 2. A few weeks after I bought the MVP I was at Kalamazoo Vapor and the guy showed me the Istick 20 and 30. I tried to buy the 20w but they were sold out... a few days later I found the 30w for the same price as the 20w and been sub-ohming since... and Isticking too lol ive had the Istick 30 and still have my TC40 and my TC100/120 (would it be stupid to refer to it as the Istick TC120 after the upgrade?) when I was buying my 100 watter I couldnt decide between the cuboid, the TC100 and the Kbox 120/200. all roads led to TC100 and im glad they did! and I found that I usually wont go higher than 60w usually. ive only cranked up to 80-100 with dual twisted 24g coils I built yesterday. then I thought id try the 120 watts, yeah warm vape to say the least its nice being able to build like that and not deal with a crazy stupid ramp up time!

damn that white tc100 is looking good! I was torn between white and black, due to my many tinkering habits, I decided on black so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb if i go from mixing soil to take a vape w/o thinking... same reason I dont wear white hehe it was kinda funny, people would ask me where I bought my pants when 'distressed look' was in, id say 'cant remember ive had them for years, there almost broke in!' apperently ripped knees and oil spots on pockets (hillbilly hand rag hehe) were what was selling at that point

They're both great! My Vtc mini's are well loved lol. The Pico's smaller stature is of course cute as heck. Just a tad wider feeling but comfy nonetheless. It being shorter doesn't really effect anything but it's looks. Me likey! New VAPE toys yay!

Me too! I preordered a black Pico during their Easter sale. My white full kit was from Vapordna to hold me over until Fasttech ships.
