Mine gives a 4/6 ship date too! Fingers crossedI'm in the same boat as you (two ordered during CNY sale) though my order now gives a 4/6 ship date. We'll see. They did fine with my pre-order istick 100 TC ship date.

Woo hoo! Another iStick person and a Michigander to boot!Heres another istick peep to include next time! hehe my first regulateds (or mods for that matter) were the MVP2 and the kanger IPOW 2. A few weeks after I bought the MVP I was at Kalamazoo Vapor and the guy showed me the Istick 20 and 30. I tried to buy the 20w but they were sold out... a few days later I found the 30w for the same price as the 20w and been sub-ohming since... and Isticking too lol ive had the Istick 30 and still have my TC40 and my TC100/120 (would it be stupid to refer to it as the Istick TC120 after the upgrade?) when I was buying my 100 watter I couldnt decide between the cuboid, the TC100 and the Kbox 120/200. all roads led to TC100 and im glad they did! and I found that I usually wont go higher than 60w usually. ive only cranked up to 80-100 with dual twisted 24g coils I built yesterday. then I thought id try the 120 watts, yeah warm vape to say the leastits nice being able to build like that and not deal with a crazy stupid ramp up time!
damn that white tc100 is looking good! I was torn between white and black, due to my many tinkering habits, I decided on black so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb if i go from mixing soil to take a vape w/o thinking... same reason I dont wear white hehe it was kinda funny, people would ask me where I bought my pants when 'distressed look' was in, id say 'cant remember ive had them for years, there almost broke in!' apperently ripped knees and oil spots on pockets (hillbilly hand rag hehe) were what was selling at that point
I've run the Melo 3 with two tanks now with juices I know, with the Eleaf EC .5 ohm titanium coils, and am getting LESS flavor then both Tron and Cubis tanks. I'll give the RTA a chance with a Ti build. I like the tank itself, good airflow, NO leaking anywhere thus far, but lacking flavor in TC mode.
RIGHT ON ANOTHER MICHIGANDER! We've been getting spoiled with this weather latleyWoo hoo! Another iStick person and a Michigander to boot!I'm a Yooper. Spent the favorite part of my childhood at KI Sawyer AFB.
I wondered about calling the TC100 the TC120, too, lol! It just seems right somehow.I know what you mean about the no-ramp-up time thing. That's HUGE for me. I hate waiting for a coil to heat up. I want it NOOOWWWW.
I am actually vaping in TC on one of mine. First time I have ever been able to vape in TC successfully! I have tried so many different builds, premade heads, tanks, mods, etc, and have never been able to "get" the whole TC thing. I always end up having to fiddle with the mod and just not getting an instant hit with good flavor and vapor, but this Simba tank with the SS ceramic coil on the iStick is AWESOME. The tank gets warm but the TC100 doesn't. I want to use this tank on the Pico but it might not be a good idea because the Pico is so much smaller. I guess I will just have to see when my Pico gets here! The last thing I want to do is stress it out by putting a beasty tank on it, lol.
UPDATE:
MELO 3 RTA: 26 gauge titanium, 9.5 wraps on 2.5mm rod, approx. .4 ohms. KGD cotton. On most of my tanks and mods with similar builds I find I run mods at approx. 35 watts, and around 470F.
Using same juice for testing (Jimmy the Juiceman 6mg. Crume Brûlée). Flavor is much better then the PREBUILT Eleaf Ti coils, but still not the most flavorful tank I own. Guess I'd call it average. No leaking so far.
As far as the Mod, discussing colors is of no interest to me, it works just like my Evic VTC Mini's, which is great! I will say the "rounded" body shape, like most iSticks does feel a bit nicer in the hand, then the square body of the VTC Mini.
Other then "colors" and shipping updates, any opinions on vaping with the Melo 3 tank in TC modes? In particular FLAVOR impressions?
What I want to try tomorrow is see how long a fresh battery will last using it considering I'm getting 12 hours in wattage mode.
I think the Melo II is one of the tanks that takes the Vaporesso cCell, so it should take a ceramic coil! I have an Eleaf Ecotank that i use the cCell in and it works great. I do loves me some ceramics, lol.RIGHT ON ANOTHER MICHIGANDER! We've been getting spoiled with this weather latleyI live in Whitehall/North Muskegon area....Ok so its not just me lol I may just set the 'TC120' trend! with using the TC120 in TC I realised I dont really NEED the full 120w most of the time, though I do love the battery life! But I usually vape @ 75w in VW mode and 60w with TC, though I havent done much tinkering with my TC things latley... I gotta buy a couple feet of SS so I can switch back an forth. I was thinking that Id get the PICO for out and about, Ive already got a single VTC4 I could throw in it, I doubt id burn through the battery in one trip to GR and back anyway so it should be perfect! The one thing I was wondering about was wether or not any ceramic coils would fit the MELO III? Id really like to try out ceramic coils but honestly idk when ill be able to get the PICO kit, let alone another tank to go with it.
well that definatley explains your short ramp up time! lol how long do a set of Batterys last you in TC? I figured since it cuts out at a certain temp anyway as long as it didnt ramp up too slowly I was okay. Im wondering if it makes a difference battery wise in these devices where your watts are set? I mean like the difference between 75w and 100w not 40w and 100w If the pico and TC120 work the same as the TC40 it drops the wattage to adjust temp so maybe it would just drop quicker or something? idk just a ponder hehe not sure about mad skillz but im a tinkerer! #A.D.D.VAPER lolI think the Melo II is one of the tanks that takes the Vaporesso cCell, so it should take a ceramic coil! The iStick had the wattage preset at 100w, so that's where i left it for this coil. It works perfectly, so I don't want to mess it up by tinkering around with wattage, etc. I have had a loooooong road getting to good in TC! It's about time something came along that just works, with no mad skillz necessary. Because I do not possess mad skillz, lol. I am a #lazyvaper.![]()

Wow 12 hours! Are you using LG HG2's and at what watts? Are you a chain vaper? Cos using the LG's at regular wattage mod 28.5 - 30 watts. I don't think I get 12 hours. Maybe 6ish - 7 hours. Maybe I VAPE too much lol!Yeah, a few hours ago I switched the Triton Clapton I was running in the Melo III for a Triton Ni200 TC coil. I'm using it at 37 watts and 480 degrees. It's the first time I'm pretty impressed with TC really. Quick heat up and consistent temp. I'm not sure I care enough about TC to load up on coild but it's doing what it's suppose to at the wattage I want it to so that's a big plus. And the fact that it does SS too is great option. What I want to try tomorrow is see how long a fresh battery will last using it considering I'm getting 12 hours in wattage mode.
Cool where did you get the wrap? It's for the Istick 120 watt right? Not the Pico.Ha! I remember my daugther just HAD to have these $80 jeans (and they were on SALE!!) that had holes and rips all in them. I told her I would buy her a pair for $20 and just run over them in the truck a few times to get the exact same look. I thought it was brilliant. She was not amused.![]()
I LOVE the white one. I usually avoid white like the plague but I just had to have it. I am so glad I got the white one. I have a clear wrap coming for it this week sometime and I will feel a lot better about handling it after it has some protection on it. The finish is really nice, though, and so far I have managed to not ruin it!![]()
best measurement is ml's of liquid consumed
people should just stop worrying about it....mod boards are becoming more and more accurate these days, we are up in the 95% and up accuracy level, and two mods both at the same basic accuracy level, are BOTH going to provide the same vape time...all other factors (which are user controlled at that point) being the same.Which is what I'm trying to get a solid ballpark figure on.
Not that I care, I don't use an excessive amount, but it seems there's a new thread asking the question every week. Early numbers are already surprising... I would have said my feeling is about 15-18ml a day (all sub-ohm at 5-6mg), but it's looking to come out a little lower. Still need to measure the tanks when I'm done (another few days I think), so it's all guesstimate at this point.
I made a guess of about 7000 mAh a day a couple months ago, wondering if that could be a useable gauge, but all the variables you mention play there as well. So I quit thinking about it.![]()

in vape time, how many hours a battery will last you is largely an irrelevant number, since we all vape differently.....even when using the same wattage/coil type etc.....like length of puff, how many times you hit on it per hour yadda yadda
