Sounds like a custom fab job. I tend to doubt there's a suitable one just floating around out there, and I doubt even more that joyetech has any plans to introduce one.

A 510 hybrid adapter (with 20 x 1mm threads) fits nicely. Just tried one. Add a slightly raised post on the inside to make contact with the battery and it would function. Would not look so great though unless you also did something on the outside for appearance sake.

There's so many vape shops around here, and have been turned off when I went into a few.

One had employees that didn't know what they were talking about, and weren't good at explaining the basics to a newbie.

One was very intimidating with a bunch of cloud chasers on stools.

$22 for 30ml premade bottle, and $15 for cheap flavor homemade juice.

$40 ego/ce4 starter kits. $10 for an extra charger.

I understand 20-30% markup, but we're talking 80-100% markup for most equipment, and 100% markup minimum on e-juice.

Had an "ejoose emergency" recently and went in to the B&M just down the street.

They wanted $14.95 (+ 7.5% tax) for 15ml....

I'm used to paying (Derall) $4.33 (NO tax, free shipping) for 30ml...

So...for me...that's a 742% markup...

Hi guys.

I am on page 34 and am seriously thinking of ordering one of these kits. This will be my first real STL tank. I am currently experimenting with STL on a KOOPOR/GS-Air M/0.15Ni.

How is the flavor on the Melo 3 mini? Another thread on ECF says it's lacking.
What coils does it come with? What is your preferred coil? What coils are compatible?
Is the board on the Pico the same as the iStick 100TC?

I think the consensus is that the mod works great. It's the tank/coils I am most interested in hearing about when I get to the end of this thread.

Anyone had it where the wattage setting changes on it's own? Got the wife a white one yesterday, locked it in wattage setting at 14 watts, and it gets lower by itself, wonder if I get a lemon, got a pink one on the way too, hopefully that one will be OK.

I bought two and one was bad... (first/only trouble I've had with my many eleaf products)
I could not "increase" (+) power but it seemed to 'decrease' (-) VERY EASY (just a very light touch)
I thought it was 'jumping out' of settings, but it was me, bumping the (-) button...

MVS jumped into action, replaced it and BOTH have been working flawlessly ever since

that doesn't address yours being locked and I can't say if it was a hardware issue or mechanical (button) issue

I only vape in SS TC mode, but when I switch to wattage to dry burn a coil the watts are a little lower than it was the last time I used that setting. I keep the wattage setting at 20 but it's always a few tenths lower each time I go back to it. I think it may be a firmware issue. Hopefully a future update resolves it (if it's even a firmware issue). Doesn't really bother me, but I've never seen it happen on any of my other mods.

Your issue could be something different. How far do the watts drop on your wife's mod?

•the MIII mini seems about the same as most other tanks to me-depends on what coil is in it...
•not sure it is the SAME 'board' as 100TC, but surely in the eleaf/joye/wismec family... :thumb:
•it comes with it's own version of the aspire coils (copy) and then most of the aspire coils will also fit in it

:)

I set it to 14 watts before she went to work last night, and on her lunch break it had moved itself to 8 watts, and she had only used it on the way to work and on her 1st break.

Really don't want to go to the trouble of returning a $30 mod, so as long as the pink one is OK, guess just chalk it up to a loss.

I'd lean more towards a short in the atomizer. The pico will change it's watt value to the resistance if it's too high but wont do it in the other direction and bring it back up.

I will check that out, thanks for the suggestion :)

The flavor on the M3M is what you'd expect for a simple tank its size; i.e. good and satisfying, but not mind-blowing.

It comes with Eleaf EC coils, one 0.3 ohm in the tank, and one 0.5 ohm in the box. Both are kanthal. Many coils are compatible, including the Vaporesso ccells, (which I prefer).

The board appears to be nearly identical to the one used in the RX200.

I have found the flavor quite good in the melo III. My favored coil in it is the .9 ohm cCell ceramic coil (will be trying the 316L SS version when they become available locally) at around 30 watts.

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping ;)

Thanks @Carnage9270 that was the problem, different tank and wattage not changed at all in the last 12 hours :)

Hey guys, I am about to place my order for one of these beauties and was wondering if they work with a button top battery. Already have a Panasonic NCR 18650B 3400 mah in my arsenal. As I mentioned, it's a button top, and I think the B in the in the model number means it is the 'unprotected" type - whatever that means...

BTW, I only vape at 20 watts max, and use kanthal or nichrome. Here is a link to the battery:

    $8.93 Panasonic NCR18650B 18650 3.7V 3400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries (2-Pack) 2-pack - button top / 55mohm internal resistance at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
