Good thing you mentioned "relative".

Speaking of the ego, this setup is my all time favorite; stealth as you can make it - or close. I only vape at 15 watts though ...

See, case in point! That's a nice looking set up but it's tall and hard to hide. I think the idea of the Pico being a "stealth" device has more to do with one's ability to carry it in their hand without anyone knowing it was there. As we've established, once you take a puff that sort of defeats any stealthiness granted by the size... but these days I feel like "stealth" is synonymous with "small" as far as e-cigs are concerned. Maybe the ability to shut off any screen or button lights, too, which the Pico has.

That particular ego is actually shorter than the pico - much easier to hide given its thin profile. It's only 1100 mah - enough for a day of vaping for me. As for the tank, there might be shorter tanks available than the Kayfun mini shown in the pic.

Well yes, I was more driving at the size of the set-up with the tank attached since a battery is fairly useless without a topper :) Being that the eGo ONE is essentially an updated eGo battery, that's one way to go smaller in certain dimensions. But currently my Pico is a whopping 80mm total in height, including a short atomizer. Again, for an 18650 mod this is about as small as you can go.

It's not a ...... contest, of course, but again I think a "stealth" e-cig is basically the same as "small." I would consider your eGo one set up as stealthy as the Pico; no reason it's not.

Yeah, 1100 mah would last me a couple hours, max. Also, I can't be limited to power that low anymore. I never go below ~25W, (usually in the 30W-60W range), except to pulse coils. ;)

If your ego is lasting you "all day", think how long a HG2 or 30Q in a Pico, (at your preferred low power setting), will last you! :D

To each his own, though.

Hey guys, I love my Pico, but what is so "stealth" about clinching something in your fist and sticking it to your mouth
That depends on the user. For many it's mostly about having something that you can use without drawing much attention to yourself. You can hide your vaporizer in your hand, take a toot, hold it in, then exhale only a little bit of vapor. People can get away with public vaping where they aren't supposed to. Setting the screen to "stealth mode" keeps it dark for people who want to vape in a movie theater, rude as that can be.

For many others it's simply all about having something that's comfortable to carry around in a pocket or purse. Having something small and light can make a big difference if you are going to be walking around with a mod all day.

+ a billion.

I know I said this above, but the battery life in the Pico is so much better than the 60W TC. I usually use VTC4s in mine because I like being able to use the whole range of power but I also have a couple of HG2s for when I don't need to go above 60W and the battery life is incredible. Really it's pretty durn good with the 2100mAh VTC4s, too, at least at a reasonable wattage.

1100mAh wouldn't last me long either, but the crazy thing was how quickly the 60WTC drains Samsung 25Rs (2500mAh). fortunately my partner vapes less than me so he's been getting good use out of it.

And amen... the amount of power afforded in such a tiny mod, not to mention its other features that actually work extremely well, really make it completely incomparable to something like an eGo one. They're nice PVs, too, no doubt, and arguably both stealthy. Apples and oranges otherwise, to me.

I notice my Hg2 lasts slightly less on the Pico than other mods. Also noticed the battery came without a plastic wrapper mentioned on the box. Is that normal?

Are you comparing the HG2 on the Pico with other single 18650 mods running at similar wattage and resistance? Just checking, but you've been here well long enough to know that this can effect battery life so I don't mean to be patronizing by asking :) I am finding the Pico to be pretty efficient with regards to battery life but I don't have a lot of single 18650s and it is 100% possible it is less efficient than any given mod you might be comparing it to.

What do you mean the battery came without a plastic wrapper? Do you mean it was a totally bare battery without any sort of wrap on it?

Yes, without a plastic wrapper. I wrote to VapeNW, and they said that is normal. Doesn't make sense since the box specifically states do not use battery if plastic wrapper is damaged. In my particular case, it was not damaged - just missing - as if they had sent a used one.

Just comparing the HG2 on the pico vs a different battery on a mech. Watts are similar. I am thinking the pico drains some juice because of the circuitry.

Could Vapenw be opening full kits and taking out the Melo 3 to ship them as battery only boxes? I got mine from Rocky Mountain Vapor and they did that untiil the simple kits came in. I knew they were doing that before I ordered, so I have no problem with it. But it is nice to know and would explain lack of plastic wrap. My box had an imprint for the Melo they took out. Again, no problem for me.

@clnire I think he's saying that the 18650 came without a wrapper.

@Exchaner yeah, the HG2 may last longer in a mech since the Pico needs power for the board and to do all its regulated. It's fairly efficient for what it is though.

For devices and whatnot I love VapeNW; they're actually where I got my Pico from... but that sounds totally sketchy with regards to the unwrapped HG2. If you are comfortable enough to check the markings for authenticity you can just rewrap but... yeah, not great IMO.

Personally I only use IMRBatteries and have had really good luck with them.

Yeah, I agree, beautiful!! I did have one that looked exactly like that from CV but it was a different shape... not the Ming Vase but the "standard" shape before that. It broke a long time ago unfortunately but was my favorite DT, so I'm watching closely myself... would love a replacement for it!

Got my Pico yesterday and it's a great little mod. I'm trying to get used to the shortness of it as the way I normally hold a mod and fire it with my thumb is a little awkward with the Pico because the fire button sits lower. Here's a picture comparing it with iStick 30w, iStick 40w and the VTC Mini. You can see that the fire button sits lower.

Which is exactly why I haven't bought one yet. He's a shorty alright and i also use my thumb on the fire button, too. Arghhhh.... But I want one. Keep us posted, please. I don't want an uncomfortable mod, no matter how cute it is... I have a feeling that I will have to constantly shift it in my hand to get to the button.
