funny, I must be the only one in the world that likes my TC40 in temp control

mine has always worked great from day one - mainly CLR wrapped with Ti wire
just because ya'll talking now, I screwed the STPlus with a stock .15 Ni coil onto the TC40
and it's chuggin' away great as I type...

I'll get at least one Pico, figure it worth the risk ($30) to try - don't really care about the new MIII tank

That is cool, and glad you're using the Ti as well.

I understand it was probably just a test inclusion, but after all this time eleaf could either enable it in new units or at least cop to its existence, it works... own it. :p

The only thing cooler than the 40's hidden Ti TC would be if the 60 had an SS TC mode.
Apparently... it doesn't. :(

yepper, and I was using Ti (in Ni mode) BEFORE I found out about the secret Ti mode that was hidden
I just upped (or lowered) the TEMP a few degrees but vaped the same

The bottom looks different than the coils I've seen in the Pico videos. They would still work?

yes, the rebuildable that is cool is the eleaf ECR head

also the aspire triton rta sysem coil is oddly different and also fits both...

Thanks for the pics, it's good to see some of the possible options.
I never did read those "What tanks take Aspire coils" threads, so it's all new info.

Same here. Big surprise when those crafty Germans posted the Ti Mode trick.

But the Ti mode meant I could use it for SS too, well enough at least. Can't quite do it (316) with Ni mode before running out of adjustment at the bottom of the temp range.

I jumped on the pre-order: here's my logic:

1: firmware upgrades. - any bugs will get sorted out with upgrades. I have 5 vtc minis, love em now, essentially same company as joyetech, hence not worried about the board.

2: size. - pretty obvious as this is the main selling point.

3: removable battery - not keen on throwing my investment in the trash on a sub-par lipo that you can't easily replace.

4: 75w + TC + TCR + bypass at this size. Perfect.

My only hesitations: power button longevity/stickiness issues to new to know yet, but joyetech has been using these buttons now for over a year, I think they got this one down to a science? Threads on the battery cap, might easily strip? a little crunchy sounding from the yt reviews, but I am seasoned with how to apply the right electrical grease :) and lastly the 510 connector. from the reviews it seems to look just fine. Only knock is the 22 mm and smaller atty restriction, that I am ok with. Long story short, at $28 pre-order + $5 shipping at vapeNW or others, I was sold

Seems like...with the adjustment buttons on the bottom...you'd be likely to "accidentally changing settings" when you place it upright on your desk???

..
I think the buttons look recessed, though, so just setting it down doesn't look like it will be a problem. My problem comes from holding too many mods in one hand and squeezing, lol. You would think I would have learned by now to always lock the settings, but nope. And when I do forget, I remember after I either get a hot hit or nothing at all. :D

I'm with ya on the delay from FT, and that is also a concern of mine. When the istick mini first came out, I ordered 2 from FT which said they would ship in 5 days. ONE MONTH LATER, I finally gave up and cancelled my order. Soooooo, I expect this pico to be a popular mod, and I also expect the wait time to even ship to be more than noted on their website.
That's why I love Heaven Gifts. I have never once had that happen with them. Their customer service is top notch, and for me that's HUGE. :)

I went ahead and put in a pre-order from VR since they had a 20% off coupon. For $32 shipped, I won't complain if I couldve gotten one a couple dollars cheaper elsewhere. I've liked my beater isticks in the past but was never excited about them. I have to say, I'm pretty stoked about this little guy with a removable 18650.
