Damn... That's a Big Cap.

Kangxin VF Mini = 19.82mm
ONIYO = 19.73mm
HeatVape 50W = 18.78mm

The 21.3mm is the Major Diameter of the Cap Thread right?
Yes,, before i measured i forgot to zero it out, measured 26 4 mm
.checked several times. 21.3 it is..

:)

so I got home Sat afternoon about 4pm and my Picos were in the mail
within an hour I discovered the gray Pico was faulty and emailed MVS...
being they were closed (after hours) I had to wait till Monday Morn for a response...
so let the battle begin…

•Monday morn 10:45am I get an email:
" I'll go ahead and have a replacement mod shipped out to you along with a prepaid return label for the defective iStick. "

•Monday morn 10:48am I get an email with tracking #
- - -
I just sent a short/sweet email to establish, expecting some back-n-forth,
but NO questions, MVS just sprang into action & took care of bizzness - I LIKE THAT !

now that is stand-up Customer Service !

This is how it should be!!!!
All it takes is for one vendor to give me a problem & I never spend my money with them again.
MVS had always (IMO) been fantastic.

!!! G*NOTE FIVE !!!

I ordered my Pico from VapeNW as mod only. Boy did I screw up, if I had ordered the Kit I would have it already. This just makes no sense. Was eleaf looking to dump all their excess melo tanks first before they sold the mod only?

Yes, sort of. This surprises you? :p

Actually they're new, or newly printed AFC MELO IIIs, but yeah.
It's to get people like me to take a flyer on the bundled tank to get the mod sooner.

That's how I ended up with the Mega tank bundled with the VTC. :D

I believe eLeaf does the Mod/Tank thing 1st so that early users are exposed to an eLeaf Tank. In the hopes that some will like it and use it in their Rotation.

That, and by offering it as a Kit, 1st Time Vapers get a Complete Set-Up where all they have to do is put e-Liquid in it.

I did the same thing, preordered the mod only with the 20% discount, when I saw they had complete kits I called them and cancelled the order and had them send me the whole kit and paid a small difference in price...give them a call, great customer service and they'll ship today for you.

Kinda figured that was the case. Oh well, they say I should have the mod shipped by the end of this week.....we shall see!

So... mine arrived a half hour ago.
Does what it says on the tin.

For a full featured, single 18650 TC mod... it's ludicrously small.
In fact, the footprint is maybe a mm smaller than the i50, one of the most comfortable mods I've held.

Big bonus... they included the RX's feature of being able to scroll both up and down through the modes. To me... that's a huge plus. Though I'm not lovin' the bottom buttons yet. We'll see.

The TC100 annoys me for keeping the third button from the TC40 and TC60. That worked when you only had Power and one or two TC modes to scroll through... slooooowly.

When you've got three TC's plus three TCR slots... not so much. :(

Anyway, it is what it is. I like it, a lot. If it fit larger diameter toppers... I'd buy another.

I would do that, but I really don't need another POS tank to have laying around. I'm pretty exclusive to RTA's these days and even though this mod is for my wife, I keep her in freshly built and wicked RTA's as well.

pico just landed, the silver version.
first vape on it.....the melo tank flavor is actually pretty decent for a tank, airflow is not as open as some nice RTA's, but more then adequate.
Definitely pocket friendly. Will give it a good run before posting any real feedback/review on it.

The TFV4 mini fits it nicely (looks a little funny being so tall on it :p).

I hear ya, I'll not likely use the the tank being an exclusive Kayfun user but wanted the mod and they still didn't have single units in stock...I'll try the Melo just for SnG's then likely sell it for 10-15 bucks or just give it to a friend.

And for those unaware, the full kit price has been reduced at VapeNW down to 39.99, that's a great deal even without the tank.

LOL. Didn't expect that $42 to last long anyway.

I've got an iSub on it ATM.
Slightly taller than the Melo III but they hold a lot more.
And they're very light.

It was the smallest available with an SS build in it.
I'll try the Bachelor and Bellus later.

And the Melo at some point, I got a Triton RBA to go with it.
Though the tank is a tad oily, it'll need a bath first.
