For people who have had or wanted both the Pico and the Tesla nano 60w, can you tell me which one do you prefer and why? I'm kinda going back and forth between these 2 mods and aesthetic wise, I like them both. I know the Tesla is slightly larger and heavier and probably more expensive, but I'm still unsure which one I'd rather have. I suppose most people here will say Pico but why did you choose Pico over the Tesla??

I'll do the best I can, Kyi. I have both. I bought the Tesla because I wanted a small mod with unique style that could get me through the whole day with my vaping style at around 37 watts. It feels great in the hand but it is a heavy mod for it's size. So much so that it turned me off a little for pocket-ability. I wasn't thrilled with it's TC mode, though I'm not a TC kind of guy anyway. It doesn't do SS, while the Pico does, and the Pico is the first time I enjoyed TC. I buy prebuilt coils though and I haven't found a TC coil that I prefer the flavor of. I prefer the size and weight of the Pico and I prefer the software options and how the menus work. I also like a device with stealth mode and I don't think the Tesla can do that. If none of that matters to you though, you may prefer the Tesla if you prefer a thumb button - it's a great mod to fire with your thumb. I usually fire with my thumb, but really loved firing the iStick 50 with my index finger and am loving it just as much with the Pico. I had done 18650 mods in the past but stuck to all in one mods the past couple years, and if you prefer that route, you might really like the Tesla and it's battery life. Swapping out an 18650 is so easy though that getting back into it (with the right mod) wasn't a factor for me at all. Plus it's cheaper and easier to (safely) carry around an extra battery than it is to carry around and buy a back up mod. So though I think Telsa did a great job on the Nano 60, it just sits in a drawer now. Had I loved it enough, I wouldn't have bought the Pico. Had I bought the Pico first, I wouldn't have bought the Tesla.

I'll show you guys why I chose the silver Pico over the colors.. The blue TC 40W is a daily carrier for me, the pink one used to be until I saw what being in my pocket was doing to the finish.

See Lynn, that's why I use silly-cone covers on all of my sticks. I'm dying to know when they'll come out with one for the pico. Not only do they protect the finish, but I love the "gripability" of the covers. Even though they are a pain on my clouper mini when battery needs changing, I still use the cover faithfully.

Now that I think about it, I think I've turned into my grandmother put off using things so they would still be "nice".

So this is about you, huh?

I use one of the "leather" covers for my Evic. I hope they will have them for the Pico!

No, I'm not THAT bad! In fact, my dogs lay on my couch (and my bed:blush:). I guess I just don't want the finish of my sticks to get scratched. Dunno why I'm so particular about that, tho.

Hey @57chilicat ...have you looked at the Encom VoidRay 60W???

One poster says:

"First thoughts......it is light...light light, and very light. Without a doubt the lightest 18650 mod I have ever held."

A New mod coming: Encom Voidray

..
haha, that was MY post...and indeed, the Voidray is the LIGHTEST mod I have ever held (in 18650 category).
But the Pico is more pocket friendly, with more features :)

Any updates on a suitable flush battery cap to fit an 18500?

Sounds like a custom fab job. I tend to doubt there's a suitable one just floating around out there, and I doubt even more that Joyetech has any plans to introduce one.

Personally, I don't mind being limited to 22mm toppers on such a tiny device. The Pico is meant to be a convenient traveler, not for your 25mm stuff. That's what RX200's are for. ;)

FT still hasn't shipped mine, think ima cancel and get it from RMV for 3 bucks more lol.
That's what I did when FT extended the shipment date. Been vaping on the Pico for the last 10 days. Plus I hear that RMV has good customer service.

Sorry to be off-topic again, but I posted the video clip earlier and Doris Roberts dies the same day. That's...spooky and sad. Loved her in Everybody Loves Raymond. :(
I thought about your post as soon as I read the news. I hadn't seen that show in years before watching that clip. Forgot how good it was.
