For some reason I have a habit of wrapping all my mods...even the mech mods.

Got the skin for about 3 bucks. Works well. Feeling insured[emoji41]

Ordered a grey Pico along with a Serpent Mini and Bachelor Nano. We'll see how the setup goes together. [emoji2]

Excellent!

I have both of those arriving this week, specifically to use on my Pico.

I'm about to try a rebuild of the 0.3 head from the Melo 3M.
It's a vert, and blanket wrap wicked... both things I've never tried before.

But the Triton RBA was disappointing on my first pass, and the factory 0.3 is a major juice hog. I'm hoping to tame that somewhat... even having top-fill.

And then I'll have three tiny tanks for the Pico. That'll do... for now. :)

That part's more of a joke... the OG iSubs are fairly small and rock their RBA heads.
One's on the Pico now in fact. :p
But they're not top-fill (must buy a new "V").

@Jim_MDP ... Let me know how the tanks look/work with the Pico. I guess mine will take a couple og weeks to get here. The tanks are in transit and the Pico is sitting with customs since last Saturday.

I ordered only the mod as I wasn't too sure about the Melo 3 tank. Went with the Serpant Mini and Bachelor Nano instead.

I really suck at building vertical coils. Haven't perfected it so far.

I've only seen posts from a couple of vapers in India (I think one was about sourcing nic) so I get that you have quite the mail order delay. I have no local shops worth patronizing so it wold probably give me an embolism. :D

I've never wanted to put verts in my RTA/RDAs, and deal with that wicking scenario... so it's the blanket wrap that I'll be having to practice.

Things here are getting a little worse with customs holding up packages for weeks now that the vaping community is growing and the number of packages coming through has gone up. We don't have any real stores here to speak of. Although there are a few people importing stuff and selling in the community.

We have a few juice vendors here now so things are better on that front. But importing juices from the US or European vendors is a pain again due to customs.

I've been investing in rebuildable RTAs & RDAs as that is more sustainable and I don't have to rely on sourcing could and stuff. Off late, we've also had a real issue with sourcing batteries for our mods. Nobody seems to be shipping batteries to India.

What is happening around the world against vaping is also having its effect here now. We've recently had two states ban vaping.

Mine finally arrived from FT - ordered on 30th March

Pictures don't do justice as to how small they actually are - to thumb-fire I have to sit it in the crook of my thumb. Amazing design - just hope the zinc alloy stands the test of time

At least I know for a fact the Aluminium + Zinc Alloy is sturdy enough to withstand my butter fingers... I've dropped the Pico a couple of times already (from low table height) and it's holding together very well.

I'm actually much, much more concerned about my GMv2 pyrex surviving my drops lol.

I read a tip on wrapping the rayon/cotton around a vertical coil. Keep the coiling rod in the coil, then wrap your rayon around it, stabilizes the coil, then insert into the RBA head. It worked great on the Triton RBA head. Didn't know if you knew, just wanted to share in case you didn't. It made it so much easier.

It's such a shame what is happening :( in the end I hope we win our fight to vape & live! Freely as we are suppose to!

Pico with Serpent mini. View attachment 553617

With the FDA Dooming Regulations I figure it's time to check out rebuilding...

When I searched for Wotofo Serpent Mini a number of sites listed it as: "Extremely easy to build"...

For someone who's never rebuilt a coil...is it something one could "handle" (with a couple YouTube videos)???

It's a single coiler so seems like it. There's ample space on the deck but as it's not a velodeck-type, so keeping the coil centred might be a little bit of a problem.

Alternatively the Bachelor Nano, which is completely post-less (and also single coil) so you would have less of that problem. With the Nano it's as simple as cutting your coil legs to the correct height, putting it into the post holes and screwing it in.

And yeah, despite being listed up on FT as a 23mm tank, it actually fits the Pico fine even without a heatsink.

It's manageable I think. I started building dual coils by watching YouTube. This should be somewhat easier.

Hi all, Just a quick question.. Just starting using a Pico and the batt indicator never shows a full bar, always at least one pixel depleted and down from there with any 18650 I've tried. All batts are coming off the charger at 4.20 volts and they are all good batts. I have several isticks and have never had this indicator issue. Is this a common issue for this chipset?

Good catch. I've noticed this too but it has never really bothered me too much... I always thought it was just the chips (shared with RX200 and the new Wismec VFs - anyone notice weird batt indicator behaviour with those mods?).

Hopefully it gets fixed in the next FW update... whenever that might hit. That and the "mysterious-watt-decrease" syndrome.

Got a glitch to report with a virtually new Pico…been using for slightly above a week…rotating with an istick….so no heavy use….never been dropped….battery swapped out before it auto shuts off….MTL use only.

I tend to turn it off at night with 5 clicks and then restart in the morning.

This morning I tried to restart and it wouldn't start up….had to do it 3-4 times before it came on. Tried it a couple of times after…same thing. But when it comes on, it works fine.

Is this a known glitch and what to do?

Maybe just don't ever turn it off, if I can help it?
