Thanx Steven...
Knowing nothing about rebuilding...I think I'd probably start with a Single coil...
Can one build a single coil on a velodeck (using which holes)???
..
For total ease of rebuilding than I'll have to stick with my initial recommendation: The Bachelor Nano. Why? Because it's post-less and the only thing you have to be careful of is getting the coil-legs right.
However, with the BachNano, single coil is all you'll get. I don't see any options at all for dual-coil building.
As for the Serpent Mini, I *think* you can sneak a dual-coil build in there... but it would be rather cramped.
There's also the Pico (Tank) to consider if you want a single coiler. It's a modified/modernised Taifun after all so I can say with certainty that it would be quite easy to work with. After all, the Taifun was the tank that was easy enough it got me off cartotanks.
That said however, from videos I've seen of the BachNano, it *still* seems to be the easiest to build on so far.
I was just lurking this thread and happened to catch this convo.
The full size Bachelor was my first RTA and I can confirm that it's super easy to build on. The only building experience I had before trying this one was with the Kanger Subtank/Toptank RBA but this one is much roomier to build on for a starter ime, not too mention way (way!) more flavorful.
And frankly I don't see why anyone would want more than one coil after using the Bachelor, it just performs that well in my limited experience.
That being said, I can not recommend the full size Bachelor. Too many people are retiring it because of leaking problems, as did I. The smaller Bachelor Nano however does not seem to have this problem and is my fav RTA. I just ordered a second one of even.
I still have to try if using the deck of the Nano with the upper portion of the full size version will deal with the leaking problem of the larger one but I suspect it will even though I can't explain why (the differences between both decks are very minimal).
It could be that there are just some bad batches of the full size version out there perhaps, as some folks do seem very happy with theirs and do not have the leaking problem.
