I just got a blue one today from Indy Vapor Shop, the full kit. The sharp dark blue one. I had never heard of IVS but from perusing the site I got a solid vibe so I went with it. Ordered Oct. 1st delivered today on the 3rd. I'll tell ya it was nice to get the full kit which came with the wall adapter, usb cord, 510/ego adaptor, which is cooler looking than the one I had, and the box and unit.

Now, a week I got silver one from Vapenw on ebay, just the box and unit, and they sent me one that was obviously used and slightly abused. Thankfully they're taking it back, but im not sure yet for an exchange or refund. We'll see. I used it before I returned it for a bit and it works great with the Nautilus mini. Loved it.

As mentioned, im also slightly concerned about the button, but we'll see how it goes.

Haven't caught up since reading this post, but yes, free. I think they are 8x11???? Samples. You click on the color/pattern and if available as a sample, click on sample. It will go into your sample cart. Once you select your 5 samples, go to your sample cart and you can change the amount to 2 of each. You need to fill out some questions about your "business", but I was only emailed by one sales rep as a simple contact "if I can be of further assistance.....".

This material works great and all my mods/batteries are wrapped with different patterns. When I get a chance I can post a picture.

Stupid me, after reading the original post I thought it was a total of 5, but could be up to 2 of one item, so I ordered 5 samples. Could have got 10. Doh.

This is probably old news here but this is an interesting thread on Reddit about the iStick

http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_.../were_working_on_the_istick_20_what_features/

I hope that at least 75% of the requests there are not added the the V2. They would have to drive the cost up. This was particularly interesting

Hi I am interested to know your thoughts on this thread and the corresponding chart.
Is it true the claim that the iStick cannot step down it's voltage?
This is an annoying problem for clearomizer users. For example, if I vape a Kanger Protank with a 1.5 ohm coil, the absolute minimum wattage I can output with a fresh battery is 12 watts. In my experience, Protanks work best at 6-12 watts, but to get that range on the iStick you would need a 3.0 ohm coil which Kanger does not produce.
Any thoughts on this? Any plans to add voltage step down in the future?

We're aware of the claims that have been made--they're false. We'll be releasing a comprehensive video response to it in the coming days.

yeah have some things to say on that. Lemme watch the video from eleaf first

I don't think joyetech answered the question being asked. This issue was discussed way back there in this thread, and though at first I was wavering between defending istick as doing what it said and not caring about it either way, I feel I have determined the istick is incapable of reducing the voltage that flows from the battery given its charge state. I'm fine wrapping a higher ohm coil and knowing that the wattage reading on the istick screen isn't really the value of the wattage hitting my coil. Its as though the up down buttons didn't correspond to actual numeric values, but just, y'know, went up and down. I'm unqualified to take any follow up questions or elaborate in any way, but I'll be eager to see what folks reaction is both here and on reddit....

Interested to see what peole have to say about the video. On a side not I bet 80% of people don't notice the thin protective plastic to peel off on the black display strip.

Wow, you're right...put me in the firm 80% I think I'll keep it on though, since it's like a free phone screen protector.

Yup - that's the route I am taking. She (currently) has no real habits at all - not coffee, soda, tea, or even chocolate! Am hoping she will just forget about it...

well , were all adults, and if you ever watch old hollywood films, or even the roasts of the 70's (dean martin, don rickles) etc. smoking was definitely cooler looking then someone who didn't .
It gives somebody a way to relax, chill out.
So having her vape 0% nicotine i think would be a fine thing.

Just my 2 cents.
Get her the pink istick, and something from Victoria secret....lol.

Man, I can't stand reddit. How does anyone follow anything at that convoluted site?

Anyway, it looks like several people want the charging port on the side. I love it on the bottom and would hate to see it moved to the side. Here's why;

1. When using it as a pass-through it's much better having it on the bottom cause it doesn't get in the way of your hand while holding it. I used my IPV2 this way in the car alot and it was great having the cord come out through the bottom.
2. When charging and not using, I lay most of my mods on their side anyway. I don't want to risk one of the cats (or kids, or something else) knocking it over when it's standing upright and scratching it or breaking the tank on the top. Much easier to just lay things on their side, where there's no risk of accidentally toppling over. Having the charge port on the bottom makes doing so better.
