You can order free Di-Noc material from 3M.

You can order up to 5 patterns and two of each of the 5 if you check the box when you order. A blow drier will heat soften and then shrink the Di-Noc material. Some materials are real thick and will take a razor knife to cut while others are relatively thin and will cut well with an exacto knife.

..Surface Finishes

This just in. I somehow got my charging cords mixed up and my istick cord is charging my mvp.
Thanks for that link. I did not even think of them for carbon fiber.

Just ordered my 2nd istick from Vapenw. Should be here Tuesday. Now that I've been using and lovin my silver, blue is on its way!!

Hum I ordered a few more on September 30th when they said they were pre-ordered and I haven't gotten any more information that mine have shipped. Now I see they have a listing up saying they have them in stock for a higher price and others that ordered them after me are getting noticed that the ones they just ordered are on their way. I wonder what the heck gives with this. I think I'm about over ebay for future purchases of vaping equipment. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled for those who have ordered and have thiers coming, I am just getting anxious I guess. Anyone else in the same boat as me with VapeNW?

For anyone considering AceofVapes.us, I just got this email from them.....

"We are sad to say that we are still waiting for some shipments to come in from China. All shipments are being delayed right now because of the Nation Holiday that is going on over there called the Golden Week. They are shut down for their holiday until October 7th. Some orders have been shipped to you guys and some have not. If you received a shipping confirmation then yours is on the way, if not then we are still waiting. Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on the current situation."

This is still on the product page, "EXPECTED DELIVERY TO OUR LOCATION: October 3rd".

I was thinking the same thing the other day. I have not seen anything but, I bet that it will not be long before we do. As popular as these are already.

Ok, well, I do have something but, it may not work for you. I put mine in the middle of my bra.
Hey!! It works

My lovely wife does that with many different items. But as I do not wear a 'bra', that is not an available option for me. I have plenty of lanyards, I/we simply need some type of minimal case (something) to go between the iStick and a lanyard.

Put it on a scope. And what was the purpose of putting the ego on the tester?

Yeah... It's Scope or Bust.

BTW - Wouldn't that have been a Good Time for the OEM to Mention just how "3 Volts" is Defined?

BTW2 - They Know that Phil is Going to Review this. And they Know Phil is going to Scope It. Wonder what the Thought Process of having a DMM with 3.0 on the Display?

Here it is.

What some people fail to understand is the limitations of the Voltmeter. I have yet to see a DC Voltmeter under $500 capable of reading in Vrms (Vrms in AC is fairly common). This is why we simply use $100 USB Oscilloscopes. The meter he uses is obviously capable of reading a PWM signal. This is a $40 Home Depot Meter. If I'm reading the meter's manual correctly it is reading in DCVavg (volts average). Furthermore, there is nothing on the display showing metered or entered duty cycle which is necessary for measuring Vrms. This practically proves my suspicions. I can't wait til mine is shipped and I can get it on my scope...

The fact that Eleaf and Joyetech are playing this silly game raises serious questions of their integrity. They could have just as easily put it on an oscilloscope and settled this once and for all.

On further thought... While the iStick's display matches the meter's Volt reading (in volts average), the displayed Watts are not even remotely accurate until the device fires at maximum voltage (and maybe not even then). Why would Joyetech open itself up to a possible class-action lawsuit?

Stupid me, after reading the original post I thought it was a total of 5, but could be up to 2 of one item, so I ordered 5 samples. Could have got 10. Doh.
I have done it 3 times now. 1st I didn't know you could get 2 of each so I did it again and had them send to a friend, just in case. That was about 7-8 months ago. Just asked for more samples, not expecting them, and there they were a few days later. So don't worry, you can get more.

Exactly. And why didn't they just screw an atty onto that 510 connector of the Eleaf tester for a load?

Well, I suspect there's a reason why they never sent him or any other mainstream reviewer a test unit. And I really hope they don't get so damned defensive about it - whatever the true results. It's one of the better values I've seen in vape gear. I'd just like to know (out of curiosity) what the damn thing is doing and why it seems to vape hotter. :)

I think it is a GREAT APV. Thinking about Buying a 4th One.

But what kinda Irks me is if that had been some Average Joe with a DMM, OK... Great. The Dude is doing what he thinks is a Good Demonstration.

But wasn't this "Will for Joyetech"? Joyetech knows everything there is to Know about this piece of Hardware. And have All Manors of Testing Equipment.

Seemed more like PR for the Untrained Masses to me. And Not Really a Test.

BTW - If I was an OEM, I would Never Send Phil a piece of Hardware to Review.

Update time. I ran my iStick from 7am yesterday to 7pm today before the battery indicator showed empty, and like Frog, it kept hitting. Once the battery was about a quarter used I was able to turn up the wattage and the rattlesnake mostly went away.

The device is so comfortable to hold, and is extraordinarily solid. Haven't had a bad hit since I figured out where to set watts based on battery level.

All in all, I'm really pleased with my little blue wonder machine, and it seems made for Naughty minis.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

So you are having to reset the wattage depending on the amount of charge on the battery?

What purpose would that serve. There are many that could send him one or for that matter he could buy one. Seems to me that not sending him one would be far worse for their rep. Just sayin'

Just picked mine up locally:). Mojo Vapes one of our local B&Ms had a preorder advertised on their web site. I dropped in on my way home from work to do the pre order and they had a bunch of them on the counter unpacking them. 49.99 with the ego adapter. Not bad for Canada eh. They are in Peterborough, Ontario if anybody is interested. They had all colours in stock.

Love it with a nautilus mini so far. I tried my aerotank mega on it and it would t sit flush. The nautilus mini sits perfect on it. Glad to finally be in the club!
