Todd mentioned in his most recent Vlog that he'll be doing a review for the iStick and eleaf Lemo soon as well.

Not for me, it didn't, but that doesn't mean much when ones eyes are crossing. (lot of weekend) Thanks, jef. I'm listening to it now.

First full day off use. Not sure how everybody is getting such great battery life as reported but probably my vaping style. Took off the charger at 7:30am. On the weekends my mods never leave my side. Watts avg. probably around 12 and I take long draws mostly 8-10 sec. By 6:30 pm my battery was drained. On a normal workday this will be sufficient since I can't vape on the job but I'm either going to be using the pass thru or one of my mechanicals on the weekends in between charges.
Ordering my wife one tomorrow and thought about getting me another but I'm curious to see what v2 will bring and whatever it is I'm sure it's not to far off.
This is still the best $32 I've spent on any mod yet by far.

I got my 'Stick a week ago. I didn't think this thing would EVER need to be charged! Finally, today, I noticed the batt level was pretty darn low, so on the charger it went. My vape style does differ from yours, Jay. I'm usually set on around 7ish watts, and my draws are about 1/2 yours. Also, I have not vaped it singularly... but a lot, a LOT. I really have been amazed at its longevity.

On the subject of charging, and it may have been brought up in the thread, have any or many of you found that the 'Stick got VERY warm during charging? Another surprise. It didn't cause me worry, but a tad of concern.

Very interesting solution, much thanks. I've been having some flooding once in awhile with my naughty too, and I can never figure out what causes it. (Edited - Not appropriate) ...the damn thing shoots out and nearly gets me in the eye. I've troubleshooted out most of the other kinks that this finicky beauty has, and I will definitely give your suggestion a try.

Quick question about the coil- are you making it tighter, to reduce flooding?
Yes. I tighten the coil truly finger tight. Not cranked down, mind you, but snug.

Heh. Never thought of calling it (that) , but that's certainly apropos.

Also, my b&m folks said that severe, continual flooding can be a sign that it's time to change the coil, but that's different from the occasional stuff.

Still waiting on two from vapeoutlet. They replied to a message I sent last Thursday morning and said they would ship in two days...Haven't heard back. ebay ad stated estimated delivery Oct. 6th, which is tomorrow. I have little tolerance for crappy/ shady ebay sellers.

I'm with you. I ordered two mini naughties on Wed. and he didn't send them out till Sat. 3:03 PM . My iStick is frying all my other clearos and I wanted to take something besides an RBA or RDA on vacation. It will be close.

Well tonight, was getting atomizer short message.
So i cleaned everything, swapped out new bvc coil same thing.
Took off that 510 to ego adapter threw old school 510 atty on there , worked.

Basically, i have to unscrew the 510 to ego adapter and keep firing the stick until i hear it crackling.

Will try buying new 510 adapter tomorrow, but i don't get why it just started happening.
Can't screw it down all the way, have to uncrank it enough to where my tank has a tiny bit of movement.

Not so great, but i ain't gonna cry about it...lol.
Guess i'll have to get nautilus mini, and forego the adapter if adapter i get tomorrow has same issue.
time for another beer and forget about it.

I have to crank it up .1 or .2 volts and the battery life is shorter but you can certainly vape away at -14* :)

A dripper works a lot better than a clearo at that temperature.:vapor:

:thumb:

Yeah man! That's the way to ensure the batteries doesn't go frozen... you just use them!

Where I live we don't get used to so much snow (well, it's actually harder than that, here barely snows....), so the info is pretty handy. Thanks!

I had the same problem of getting an atomizer short when screwed down too tightly. You should google madvapes circuitboard spacer...itll fix the issue, or you can ghetto rig a plastic oring onto your atomizer so it doesnt crank down on the eleaf 510 pin as much even when screwed on tightly...here is a pic of what I did that fixed my problem...made this from a shaving cream plastic top...burned it out with a beauty ring. then sanded it down little by little until it barely made a connection to the eleaf. Hope it helps. Just reposting this fix incase others missed it earlier in this thread.

^^Same PROBLEM!!! But I want to love this little thing!!! Massive warm yummy clouds...., and I used little bits of paper that circuit spacer's only .25mm that's really thin

So it's wobbly shake it or wiggle it loosen/tighten and it fires right up BUT it won't do for on the run...so the circuit washer at madvapes is 89 cents, their shipping with Fed Ex is $9.12 :p I wrote them an email today if they can just pop it in an envelope or something.

We've got electronics stores here in Houston I'll go "in search of" today.

so if I get another 510 connector that solves it? or manage to find a washer /spacer ???

and worry not about vapeoutlet whoever else ordered from them and the item got removed...it got here Sunday I think or really later than our normal mail time Saturday.

we've had USPS packages delivered for Amazon on Sunday, stranger things have happened *lol*

any other fixes???? I want to love this lil sucker but it's wonkered!!!! THANKS!!

Same here- and my device charger got warm too. @1Amp Switched to computer USB- stone cold temp now.@ 1/2Amp

well I'm glad yours does, but bummer, so pretty much if it doesn't work with a spacer to be found today, it's defective, it shouldn't need monkeying with right out of the box *I don't want to send it back, when it does work it's great *lol*

It seems that certain atomizers that have slightly longer centerpins will cause the connection in the eleaf to depress into the unit just a hair causing the connection to be wacky. Seems like a design flaw. What makes me a little extra annoyed, is the fact that I saw some prototype eleaf isticks on youtube that had an adjustable centerpin....but it didnt seem to make its way into the production unit for whatever reason.

EDIT: The atomizer that caused my eleaf connection to bug out was a gp spheroid v3 incase anyone was wondering.

Ha! I was thinking of that exactly, putting somekind of spacer (metal tho) in there to keep the connection.
I will google madvapes for the spacer.
But like i said, when i screw down an atomizer without the stupidass adapter, all is well.
    Thanks alot SK james !

I do love this thing, it's just a tiny bit of movement for my tank to work, but like u said, you just want to screw it on & vape.
OMG, 9 bucks shipping for 90 cent item?
I'm sure there's ground shipping for like 2 bucks.
Perhaps my adapter is jacked, will get another from B&M for 2 bucks, i know they have them, and will let u know.
But it works fine screwing down a 510 atty str8t to device.
Will keep u informed, and thanks GinnyT
