Here's another way to look at this. I paid $35 for the istick. That equates to about 6 packs of analogs. I smoked a pack a day. That's 6 days worth of analogs. I've had the iStick about 2 weeks. If it died tomorrow I feel I got a much better deal than I did by putting 6 packs a garbage in my body.

People use that analogy every day on these forums, but it's flawed.

B2T, not sure if this is precisely what you had in mind, but it's an iSmoka Mini BCC tank.

Actually, it's not the Eleaf Lemo. I'm wondering because the Lemo is 23mm and I think will look huge on the istick, but I'm considering both anyway. I also wonder how the Lemo is performing on one...but i suppose that mainly depends on the build that's done. I plan to build at 1.8 or so .

I have no experience with the Lemo but I have a Kayfun Lite+ with a 1.8 ohm coil that I'm running now and it vapes great. I also posted a pic of it a few pages back (with the carbon fiber wrap). The Kayfun is 22mm and the istick is 21mm wide so .5mm overhang on the sides and 2-2.5mm overhang on the button side. Personally, I think it looks and feels fine with it.

The Lemo looks very similar to the Kayfun but with a glass tube. I might have to try one.

How so?
(and BTW in some places $35 == 3 packs of smokes)

In both cases is $35.00 in the garbage.

Because that money is already saved. It's not $35 that he/you would have spent on smoking, it's $35 that would have went into your savings account or dinner out or any one of a number of other things.

It's just not logical to compare money that used to be spent on something to money currently being spent on something else.

A better comparison would be "I spent $70 on two isticks instead of $70 on one Clouper Box Mod", or something to that effect, cause that would be comparing current (not past) disposable income.

Not to mention, it's assuming that no other items were bought in that same time period. I would have spent $35 on smokes, and got this $35 istick instead (and bought a new Nautilus, and 120ml of juice and some coils for another $100).

aldenf.. ... man?

seriously? get a life bro. I just went through page sand pages of mindless, useless rants on the same topic over and over by you..

did you think you were affecting someone's decision? do you imagine your changing anyone's mind? seriously? 100 times saying the same stuff and no one bites.. but your convinced 101 times makes you a winner?? yay! you win! heres a cookie..

buy a clue.. your not. so stop spamming this thread with it..please?

First of all, XBarbarian, I have 69% more likes than I have posts. So some people are appreciating my thoughts. I am out of town on business and often finding myself bored. This thread has provided some entertainment. Which if you had read the entire thread, you'd know. But few people actually read an entire thread, especially of this size. Much good information gets buried in the many pages that accumulate. Also, there are many more lurkers than posters. I'm actually enjoying my iStick and have stated such multiple times. I'm not trying to affect anyone's purchasing decision here. If people who are interested in the technology involved learn something, great. If I'm annoying people, I truly apologize. If you've read from the beginning, maybe you've noticed my rants really started when it became clear that iSmoka/Joyetech were monitoring this thread. I'm hoping that a big mouth voicing concerns of the consumer may affect change in the manufacturing/design process. Nothing less. Nothing more.

Here's the rub. A lot of people loved the original Volkswagen Beetle. I owned and restored a '77 convertible Super Beetle. Did I like it? You betcha! Was it a good car simply because I liked it? Not at all. The original Beetle still holds the record for the highest single-vehicle accident rate in the US. If you knew what you were getting, it could be a fun little car. If you didn't, you may find yourself very disappointed. Sounds a little like the iStick, no?

Just my :2c:

Peace, bro.

You should be fine with that build:)

Hmmm...................

Because I, for one, will not buy another Eleaf/iSmoka/Joyetech product if it is not addressed sufficiently. I will take my money to a company concerned more about the quality of their products and their customers than their bottom line and suggest others, who ask my opinion, do the same
