Rondo9 Sounds like the poster you referred to is brand new and having problems with vaping in general, not necessarily with his set up. I use the iStick with the Nautilus mini and it works great for me. I generally vape at 9 watts or 4.1 volts with the 1.8 ohm BVC coil. I was using a Vamo at 10 watts. Lowered the iStick 1 watt for the same vape. 1 watt is approx .3 volt and you're vaping at 3.7 volts. Looks like you would have room to use it as it goes to 3 volts. It would be close but I think it would work for ya. :vapor:

thanks. I re read the original posters issue and i think your right. He prob was not used to how VV batteries work vs regular ego. Or the power comparisons

Ok i'm now back onto planning to get it

I'd like to see eleaf do an istick version 2, but also make an istick Plus, or a similar extra version for those wanting to pay more. Basically like phones do. My thoughts:

istick 2: Keeps what makes it great, but fixes the few issues:

-Move that connector over slightly (not centered) just a bit to accommodate bigger tanks.
-Spring-loaded connector
-More reliable button to fix the ghost firing issue
-Fix the V thing that I don't understand enough to summarize

Istick Plus:Make it a tad bigger, keeping the same design but allow for:

-30 or 40W
-Removable battery, or a larger one (or even 2nd as someone pointed out)
-More options in the menu, stealth mode etc. Turn off that pointless puff counter
-Maybe center the connector, if that's what people want

And of course...rubberskin covers for both models.

I say we vote to have our cake and eat it too.

Yes, not too sensitive though. Clicky.

I guess its not as perfect as i thought. I'm reading some are having some issues gripping/pressing the firing button also.

The egrip by joytech has a twist mechanism (to change the voltage) around the firing button, which sounds like it would make it more difficult to accidentally change the settings.

If they come out with just the egrip battery (no built in tank) i can see it doing well in the market also

Do you have a car and car charger?

Stay safe!

Thanks, great idea. Didn't even think about doing that. (Duh.)

Didn't have one and poked around at Amazon. It's hard to find a 1 amp charger there. Seems they're mostly made 2 amps and up these days with at least 2 ports.

Took a chance and went to the local drugstore as I remembered seeing a new display of cords, chargers, etc. there. Found a single port, 1 amp version by some unknown company for $7. Brought it home, tested it with the iStick and I'm all set.

Only bummer is that my lighter port doesn't work unless the key is turned to the first notch. Not that big a deal given it will be only used in an emergency.

Thanks again! :)

The istick has replaced my vs rdna for my commute/work breaks. I carry both with me, but the lighter weight and smaller size of the istick means that I tend to grab it first. The rdna is backup at this point. I pair the Istick with the mini nauty and the vs with the full size, running both with bvc's at 15 watts.

When you change tanks/flavors do you pitch the BVC or clean and reuse it?

DO NOT CLEAN IT!! I don't care what you hear my friend it's not the same. I run "like" flavors through the same tank/coil until the coils life is about done. I think longevity depends on your vaping habits but I just know by taste when it's time to change. Get at least 2 tanks, run your "like" flavors through it and go from there. Hope this helps.

Have you tried changing the coil in the Aerotank?

I had a new A6 dripping atomizer (since returned for exchange) that was doing the same thing. Turned out that the screw in the center post wasn't long enough to hold the coil securely, which caused the Ohm readings to jump all over the place.

There are several possible fixes for the 510 discussed earlier in this thread.
