i get that little battery symbol when it's not charging and not firing, i'm getting it as we type, the screen was just on and showing charging but it's not plugged in

i also emailed the vendor since i just got it yesterday to explain what is happening and see what they have to say

The little battery icon is always there to show the amount of charge left....it changes to a little lightning bolt in it while charging.

I've been looking at the Peakomizer lately but I just don't see much talk about it. I'm also thinking of getting an afc ring for the Davide as I really do like it.

Sent from the time vortex.

The original Peakomizer design left it prone to gurgling/leaking. They added an o-ring that apparently solves the leaking but makes it extremely difficult to disassemble the tank for cleaning and even more difficult to reassemble. Another mediocre execution of a brilliant concept. This seems to be a common theme from the Chinese manufacturers.

The BDC Davide with added AFC seems to be the best choice for multiple head options.

Ahhh, that sounds very wrong, should only happen when charging. See what the vendor says and hope for the best

Mine stopped charging, ie went black. When I turned it back on, it hadn't charged. Almost dead now, then will try again. It's the one I just got from ecig.

Which version AFC would you recommend?

Oh good god. Gonna have to back off on that idea :p

Ended up rolling 24 wraps of 30 gauge on a Russian 91% (dual coil) opened almost wide open with rayon wicks. Worked out to 1.5ohms and thus 12-20watts available on the istick. Set it to 16 watts to start.

I took 3 hits and had to put it down

I think I might need to throw in a 28 or 26 gauge single coil because i cant handle the power :?: Dunno how these guys can run drippers with 100watt box mods- I would die immediately.

24 wraps of 30ga gave you HOW many ohms? Huh...

as taste matters, someone coined the very useful tool, the 'dark ribbon power corrector' or something like that, which is just to cover the display meanwhile you're adjusting it in searching for the sweet spot......:)

Also you can just ignore it....:D

My bedroom TV volume setting runs from 0 to 50. My LR TV volume setting runs from 1 to 100.

I have no idea what setting numbers I use...I just adjust them up/down til they sound "good".

It looks like the Danco ring is 6.35mm wide (outer) x 1.58mm thick. So you would have to get something thinner than 1.58mm to help make it flush.

The model is Axial AXA1162. It's 5mm (inner) x 1mm (thick). The outer diameter is 6.5mm.

Amazon.com: Axial AXA1162 O-Ring (10-Piece), 5x1mm: Toys & Games

New Axial O Ring 5x1mm 10 AXA1162 | eBay

What is the inner diameter of your Danco? (Just wondering how it compares to the 5mm inner of the Axial.)

Speaking for myself only, the iStick is unusable with less then 2.8 ohm coils. Very hot and nasty vapor with the Aspire Nautilus Mini and BVC at 1.8 ohms.

Sure hope someone (smarter than me) comes up with a solution for you.

Right now (who knows what tomorrow will bring) my Nauty with 1.8Ω BVC's on my iStick at 10-12 Watts is the "perfect" vape!!!

I  your posts, gerry. Excellent observations and feedback, all the time!

You encouraged me. I took my measly 5 something watts alllllllllllllllll the way up to 8.5 Eleaf watts. It's quite nice! Who knew! I'll keep upping it little by little, but over 10? Ooooooooooooooooooo,,,,,,,, scary time! (but I'll try it, of course)

Hello friends. Just wanted to let you know if you are still looking for a good deal on the iStick, VapeNW has them all in stock on their web site for $32.49!
They emailed me and let me know that they are trying to steer away from ebay, and use their official web site.

I went over and checked out the site, and I must say it is rather well built. Lots of good stuff on it, and expanding rapidly. They have a huge retail warehouse, so stock is looking promising.

So if you are still in the market, check out Vape NW
Great prices, great customer service, really fast shipping!

Did they happen to explain their relationship with Uvape? It seemed that they were the same but operating a little different.
