Wow! I went and double checked my paypal. Glad I got it when I did.

I paid 34.00 for mine (free shipping from NW on E Bay). They ship fast, and I was suprized at how fast it got to me. If people feel the vape is too much at the lowest setting, this can be corrected with a higher ohm coil. I use a Kanger Pro tank II,and rebuild my coils. At 1.5 ohms it gives out a strong vape (warm),with a 1.8 ohm coil it is a smooth kitty cat.( a small change in resistance can make big diffrences in vapor production) I've ran through 2 tanks today and the battery (Mod) is performing perfectly!:) For 34.00 you would be hard pressed to find a similar mod, that performs this well!

Can someone enlighten those of us who don't know on who JV is?

These ebay sellers are wearing me out! I "won" a blue one Thursday evening. Late on Friday, after sending me email confirmation earlier in the day that it was shipped, the seller emailed me and oops, they didn't have blue. After a few contentious back and forths, I said send black. They still have not mailed it.

I ordered another one from another seller Saturday that supposedly (according to USPS) is in transit now.

Seems they got so busy having price wars that they forgot to check inventory and mail out to customers who had already paid for the items. And in this instance, feedback ratings meant nothing.

My Protank at 2.6 ohms is burnt tasting at 3.0 volts indicated on the istick. On the MVP, or eVic, it's just perfect at 3.7 volts indicated.

This seems like two different chips in our isticks.

Yours bucks, and mine doesn't....
It sounds like yours has a problem with the chip? But I would try a lower ohm coil before I gave up on it! I ran a 1.5 and a 1,8 coil on on mine today and it performed great today. I run it at 7 watts with the 1.5 coil and it is smooth, and a vapor monster!:) At 10 watts you start to get the "burnt taste".

Just got mine today...started Vaping at 12 watts on a 1.8 coil at 10:00 a.m....Vaping pretty consistently (it's now 7:00 where I am) and the battery life hasn't decreased more than I'd say 1/6 down the battery indicator. If it keeps up this performance I will be recommending them all over the place. :)
I have been converted (with my first MVP) to running watts. I think it gives a more consistant vape through out the range of coils. I use a VTR,a LVT,and now the istick, and I run them all in watts mode. If I wanted to run voltage,I would just use a Vision spinner, and forget the mods.

.

Sorry! I meant to say VJ. Not sure but his name may edit out here at ECF but it stands for Vapor Joe

Looks like most sellers at Ebay are sold out. There are a few with preorders available for first week in Oct @ $31.99

I'm having the same experience as a few others. Running higher voltage than indicated, not stepping down. I'm not upset because I have plenty of things that run on it just fine. I do want to know if its defective though. ??

Some of us are saying no, it doesn't step down and others are saying yes, it does. The company says it doesn't but may have misunderstood
the question.

Anyone else in NW Ohio who wants to test theirs against mine if I can get an oscilloscope?

Someone asked me a few days ago if he should get this or an mvp, and I told him my answer depends on what you what to put on it. However, if mine is not functioning correctly, I may have given him the wrong answer. I like both devices, but for different reasons.

These are so new and they are mass produced electronic mods...there will be lemons. My first order of two was one for a friend and one for me. My friend is not able to get her KFL minis to fire I'm having no issues....we will be together for the weekend in 8 days...he's I'm counting then we will test them out together switching attys etc. if for some reason hers is an issue with the mod I will return it, but it may be the build, atty...only time will tell. Sorry for the ramble but we do all need to remember there will be some of these mods that have problems just like any other mod produced.

did you try prying up the middle pin on the device? one of my tanks wouldnt fire (because the positive post is lower on it than on my other tanks)
i pryed it up with a small screw driver and now it fires fine.

I will pass that on to her to try. Other attys are working fine so maybe just a smidge would do it.

Somebody send one to Phil Busardo. Then brace yourself for the ensuing 30 minutes of charts and graphs - which we need right now.

I just upped a regulated mod to 4 volts and have been vaping a Nautilus Mini with 1.8ohm coil. It's way too hot for me. I normally vape this setup at 3.5 volts, tops. I don't know how you high wattage people do this without starting your nose hairs on fire. I scream like a little girl at 12 watts.

I had to work my way up. My BVC coils just weren't doing it for me at 9 or even 10 watts...I even believed the Aerotank was a superior tank until I started using the BVC at 12.

But not to derail the topic (I can do that easily lol) I'm glad I've got a device in this iStick that I can dedicate to my Nautilus Mini so I can save my iPV and Hana for higher-watt RBA builds. :)
