Eleaf Istick

People tend to make things more complicated then they are. I simply put on the bracket once discovered and ordered as well as the 510/eGo adapter and vape away when deciding to use one of the two. The rest of the time I have the other mods and batteries I generally vape including some others coming soon. The iStick however is mainly intended for away from home behind the wheel type use rather being the sole gadget I vape with. I just need to find the right tanks of the right size and be all set to go! :toast:

I just got my eleaf bendy adapter in the mail today. It definitely feels like it would fix thread issues, so that's good. But for anyone thinking of buying one more for fun like I did....eh. The tank has a bit of a tilt now, and I just can't see myself ever folding it for my pocket.

I got it more as a backup plan, if any of my 3 sticks have the thread issues, but probably won't use it until then. Just my two cents.

This doesn't sound right- is it possible you misthreaded when screwing on your tank?
It shouldn't be titled at all unless your 510 had an existing issue prior to you attaching the bending adapter.

I'll try it again and see if it was user error, but I remember one of the youtube reviews saying the same thing. I'll update if I can get it straight.

Has anyone else noticed that a cell phone charger works w the istick? Do u think its safe?

The regulator for the charge amperage is in the device itself, so you should be fine using just about anything. Just to be on the safe side, I wouldn't use a wall adapter that is rated over 2amp or 2000 ma.

I'm using a 1 amp AC/DC adapter with it's original USB that came with my HTC Inc. 2 phone and it works just great, but, be careful, I used a different USB from a power-bank (not the power-bank, just the cord) and it fried my second istick!

All right, I got the new BLUE iStick in the mail with the 2 bending adapters and a bottle of Joyetch Strawberry Champagne elquid (hey, that's how they sell it @ EleafUS).

Was shopped securely, a Priority Bag within a Priority Bag and shipped within 2 business days. The Blue iStick came fully charged and blemish free; a 510 to ego adapter was also in the thin Eleaf simple box as well as their instruction manual. Of course, if you read the warranty, it states that if you use it with any non-Eleaf product, there is no warrantly. But that's how most manufacturers are working these days. I'm fine with it.

The bending adapters installed easily enough and I had no issues with the new Blue iStick. My original Black one with the thread/top damage due to the KFL clone incident, was a bit more fiddly. I kept getting atomizer short or no atomizer warnings. And if I screwed the atty all the way down, the iStick would read the resistance until I unscrewed it nearly entirely. After about an hour of un-installing and re-installing and adjusting the spring it finally installed correctly and I can now place any atty on it and the spring-loading function works as desired.

The resistance reads correctly with the bending adapter installed, unlike with the 510 to ego adapter that added .5 ohms the load and readout.

The bending part of the new adapter is nice and stiff, and the adapter itself is snug with no slippage. Attached atomizers now feel secured, non-loose or wobbly and makes the iStick feel like a whole, solid device.

The firing button on the new BLUE iStick has a bit of a rattle compared with my orginal in black. It has a bit of play to it but no issues firing it.

Even with the spring-loaded adapter installed, the iStick is smaller and lighter than the MVP, either incarnation. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase from EleafUS and hope they last as long as my MVPs.
