Once I got started first trying a disposable then onto prefilled until coming across one brand's refillable blanks I had limited flavors to choose from until upgrading out of that brand's stufff into the old DCT tanks that leaked like sives and onto Vision clearomizers for a number of months until deciding to take a look at other better tanks! A Vamo V2, Twists, a Spinner, and right when the new tanks were needed was the new MVP2.0 at the time needing something else! Now the big stuff is rolling in where the first RDA will be in later with the 32awg wire already in and then to wait for some Japanese cotton to work with!

When trying out various tanks I settled on the Tumblers at the time and at first only found one vendor who was selling that tank with 2ohm not 2.4 or 1.8ohm replacement coils. The 2ohm running at 6-11w work the best as far as both flavor and vapor output. Ironically that just happened to be the MVP's wattage range as well working out like the perfect mix!

Walking on the beach exposed to UV rays can cause sun poisoning and skin cancers like Melanoma. That would be what to expect there.

Fiberglass and Asbestos are known to be high risk elements when exposed to in large amounts where the body isn't able to detox itself fully. Body shop workers and construction workers demolishing old buildings are the two most often exposed occupations however.

The body can't really detox asbestos... If you look at it magnified you will find they are shaped like little barbed spears.

When you inhale often the heavier particle adhere to the mucous membranes that then directly hitting lung tissue as they pass through the broncial tubes. That's one part of the body's filtration system seen there to get clutter out of the lungs to begin with. Otherwise being out in a dust storm would requite a small shovel to dig out the volume of sand from the lungs! Remember that would at low level exposures where the body is able to throw it off.

Inhaling smoke through fiberglass filters on tobacco products on the other hand means tar baked fiberglass particles are in there! But this an accumulation that has been seen over time now in short large exposures as a general rule as you would see from demolishing some building or simply living in a pre 70s older home and going to do some remodeling, renovation type effort where the old dry wall is disturbed, etc. where the symptoms won't show up for decades at times. Here's a few quotes about the long term effects and how the body can do it's own clean up.

Asbestosis

Asbestosis is a noncancerous condition that can occur as a result of asbestos exposure. Symptoms may not appear until decades after exposure. The condition is caused by the scar tissue that sometimes forms in the bottom of the lungs after asbestos contact. Symptoms of this complication can include breathing problems like shortness of breath, coughing and pain in the chest.

Asbestos Exposure Symptoms | eHow

Speaking of the body's own defense mechanisms as well as how the mucus membranes act as a filtering system.

When you inhale asbestos, the tiny fibers enter your air passages. Your body’s natural defenses remove most of these particles. The majority will be carried away or coughed up in a layer of mucus that protects your lungs. However, some fibers may bypass those defenses and lodge deep within your lungs. Those fibers can remain in place for a very long time and may never be removed. Most of the harmful impacts of asbestos will not be seen immediately. They often develop years after exposure occurs.

Indeed.

What bothers me about this picture is that nobody seems to know the circumstances of how it got that nasty in a week. What flavor juice was being vaped? What PG/VG ratio? And, most importantly, how many watts were pushed through it? I just looked down into my 1.6 Ohm coil, that has been running for a week at 8W, and has had few different juices run through it (Mr E's Blue Voodoo 67/33, The Collection Sapphire 40/60, and my own Banana Creme 50/50). I vape around 5ml/day and the center of my cool looks clean with a very thin light brown coating. This is the best picture I could get, but you can see the top of the coil wire, and it looks like that all the way down the inside of it. Getting light down that bvc that, at an angle that my camera could see, was nearly impossible. I'll pull this coil apart next week and will get better pictures then.

I would say I would expect to see that IF and only IF I took a Smok Tumbler and ran it at 30w and watched it burn! since the coil in the tank would likely fuse itself in big time! What you are most likely seeing there would be the wick burnt to a crisp from too high a wattage pumped through not any week old coil but cooked in minutes!

Meanwhile some bad news on the Bending Adapter! One of them on one of iSticks here that is. After carrying it around daily the tank would no longer stay locked in postition when going to use the iStick! It seems the center spring loaded contact started getting play in it and pressing against the locking snap or misaligning itself where the lasp could no longer fully lock and simply slip out unless the contact was removed! Once off of the iStick and the contact was out the snap locked inplace without any problem. :(

I've had coils look like this within a matter of a day or 2; prebuilt & my own coils due to the juice I was vaping so I guess I dont see why looking like that in a week is surprising or shocking to anyone.

With one look you can tell that came out of an RDA or RBA not a premade replacement coil. I've taken several coils out of Tumbler that were in for weeks mainly sitting idle after I left them since I knew the wicks were gone and never ran into any build ups. The wicks were black as tar without the debris and simply came apart when handling.

Regards to the Nautilus coils the product at Aspire doesn't have any mention of those not having any wicks. Apparently that was a vendor's page when mentioning that earlier. Meanwhile some of that other vape mail arrived with the Nautilus mini simply put back on the one iStick seeing the failed Bending Adapter. Also put on a 510/eGo adapter and a beauty ring to eliminate any worry about thread wear.

I have to disagree with you. As I said, I've had many prebuilt coils that looked exactly like this after a day or 2. Believe me, if I were still vaping them going on a week, I'd get no vapor or flavor so to say only RDA coils looks like this is far from true in my case.

Well, I can confirm from first hand use that the eGrip coils will work just fine in the GS Air Atomizer. As soon as mine came I switched out the coils. Vapes just fine. It also has that same tiny airhole screw exactly like the eGrip which I removed.
I only put a small amount of juice in the tank to test the coil. Ohhhh & it also comes with the same eGrip drip tip.

Just from the pict on the vendors page when they came out, it didn't look to me like the latch would hold up long. Thanks for confirming.

For some time I've been tempted to ask you about this. Remember that I'm not a native English speaker.....

I see in the 'Tags for this thread' field the 'the blundren' tag... but I cannot find any translation or definition for that unknown (for me) word.

If it is possible, can anyone explain it to me (as if I were a Golden Retriever.....:))?

I dont know either & searching only brings up this thread simply due to the tag but there's no mention of it throughout the thread that I could find.

English is my only language and I have no idea. Google doesn't help either.

I was hoping they would! II liked the idea I could fold it up and stuff it in the watch pocket for quick errands or to have something on me small enough to not forget to bring it rather then carrying a pair of eGo mini 350mah batteries in usb flash drive keychain holder. The MVP/VTR belt holster can be a royal pain at times when I wouldn't even have the time to grab a quick vape before walking into a store or other building.

It's not actually the latch itself but how the spring loaded contact is set up. With that removed the snap latch works normally locking into place with ease. If it pops even the slightest amount the snap won't spring out to lock in place as it should with the tank on. I even tried using the 510/eGo adapter on to lift the tank off further to no avail. Yet if you tinker with the center contact in you can get it to lock about every other turn.

That might be a little hard for most to find unless you sound out "aye matey! The Blun der ran" as if in ... 13 Characteristic Features of Spelling and Pronunciation in Medieval English

can anyone confirm they use kanger 1.8ohm or kanger 1.5ohm coils in kanger tanks on their istick without getting a burning flavor? I'm running mine on the lowest setting and keep getting hints of burned flavor and scent from short pulls - 3.5sec etc.

between the burning and the crooked threads, I am feeling really dissapointed that I bought this. and since I've now used it, I probably can't even return the thing.
