Those are really too big for me. I'd rather have an iStick.

It's interesting too big since earlier I took three different mods and placed them all side by side to make the size comparation which surprisingly has more to do with the width than the height. Note two had the Atlantis tanks on while the one in the center guess which that is? has the Nautilus Mini in use. Post #7874 has the snapshot taken earlier this afternoon once another mod overdue finally showed up. I'll give you a hint. One was a 50w another a 30w and one more being a 20w mod.

Agreed. But the good Hana clones are still selling for twice the price. By the looks of it, the Cloupor Mini will bring the DNA 30 experience to the iStick's form-factor. I'm not holding my breath over Chinese engineering and manufacturing however.

I paid well more then twice the price for my ZNA50, but it is the perfect mod for me. Love the weight, almost feels like a mech in hand, direct dc output, and does up to 50 watts which is about 5 watts higher then what I build my drippers at on a mech. I can take one mod and some batteries and cover any type of vaping I might want to do

Whatever. I don't really like the form factor of the current MVP. I don't even use the 20 watts on the iStick and usually have mine set at or lower than 8 watts. It's just me.

I'm not a fan of the MVP form factor either but it did make me realize I like box mods over tubes. I was vaping on my Istick yesterday for a couple of hours. I had a KFL+ with a 1.6Ω coil and running 6.5w while I normally use 10-12w on other devices.

When all is said and done, I love the form factor, but am disappointed in the vape quality. After getting accustomed to my 30 watt Hana clone with direct dc to dc output, a 48hz pwm just doesn't vape smooth enough for me now, it makes a harshness in the flavor that you don't get with a direct dc output even at much higher settings
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

My Hana Clone is a big ol' square shaped box with awkward corners compared to my isticks. Plus, it has a delayed firing that bugs me. Haven't used it lately.

best regards, larry mac

That's why I'm going to try and put a dna30 board in my istick when it dies.... I'll have the vape I like inside the form factor I like :p best of both worlds

As I mentioned earlier on the thread I never intended to use either iStick as the primary device but for fast grabs while behind the wheel or stepping out for a few some place. With the MVP I don't even try 10w being almost an absolute minimum for the 5ml Nautilus tanks since I run one on the VTR instead which was able to barely fire the Atlantis tank at the 15w max setting with "wimpy" vapor output for sure!

So far the pair have worked out for they were bought as when having the Mini tanks on while they still will never be the preferred even for on the go mod except for the size. They were never designed to be high performance devices to begin with but to fill the new mini mod category at whatever sacrifices are seen. The threading problem come mostly from not being the larger more durable battery or mod people have grown accustomed to and obviously used more force then realized when ending up crossthreading the tanks they were putting on. Small things tend to always be "Delicate"!

Another things I can point at here is that even with the type eGo type battery the small 650s and eGo mini size 350-400mah batteries are a bit delicate as well. Never put any Twist into a silicone suction cup type stand and tilt it when going to pull it out or you may see the adjuster puled right out of the battery! Here when not in a regular stand still having several batteries I found using a large replacement tip for a walking cane actually makes for a much better temp battery stand for the 1100 or larger 1300-1600mah Twists and Spinners as well as the eGo-V V3 and v4 Mega batteries.

The main thing is however is that the people just new to vaping or not having tried out many mods, batteries, APVs, etc. will not be apt to notice the dsicrepancies others have been commenting on so far. Even the DovPo E-LVT 2.0 that showed up yesterday isn't as "Indestructable" as the promo would go but has a single wimpy hex head for allen wrench type screw holding the battery dept. cover on which can be a bit awkward for constant removal or swapping out of batteries that need recharging. And for 30w that isn't that much larger then the MVP except mostly in width.

The other one that came in yesterday was the older E-LVT 30w mod that so far vapes smoothly with the Atlantis being the first tank on. But that is an 18650 powered mod not one with a sealed lithium battery. Presently FT has a contest going on for the Hanz Modz DNA 50 Clone where the first place winner gets an MVP 2.0 with Nautilus tank as well as the choice of what color DNA 50. 3x DNA 50 Hana Modz Clone Giveaway | Vaping Cheap

Well that was one mod looked at before going with the ECig V9 50w while if you are just looking for another small mod with a bit more kick here's a review on the IPV Mini 30w mod. IPV Mini Review - 30w Box Mod | Vaping Cheap T

he Hanx Modx DNA 50 however is priced differently as low as $43 upto $54 at FT while the other offers a set of mixed responses to GearBest's review on the Cloupor Mini 30 you can get at FT no less for $36 marked down $2 to $34.54 using the XMAS14 code before today however and now the clouporminixr code at the bottom GearBest link for only $29.99 if still valid to see that marked down from about $43. Cloupor Mini 30w Box Mod $29.99 | Best Vape Deals

The one I went with however for the last mod for the coming year was the ICg V9 50w mod being 18650 powered and certainly preferred over spending $61 for the DT-50 with the 4000mad sealed battery after seeing the 3800mah Groove II go DOA too fast! $52.63 ICig V9 50w E-Cigarette Mod Variable Wattage | Vaping Discounts

A little story about my eleaf. While visiting the in-laws yesterday, My father n law accidentally pushed my eleaf with the naught mini on it off the counter on to the tile floor. Noooooo I just bought that I'm screaming in my head, So I quickly picked the poor little guy off and quickly inspected the tank. Oh good it looks like it's all in tact no shattered glass on the floor, no crack. So out the door I went to test the vape (yes I do respect their house rules and vape outside :) ) few pushes of the button and I'm finding my sticky button is now more clicky. Thank you Dad n law for fixing my button....lol (But please be more careful not to drop my vape again...)

I knocked my black one off a speaker that sits next to my easy chair yesterday. It fell about 18" into a basket that holds some chargers and cables.

I took a toot off it before going to bed and it seemed to stop about half way through. Uh Oh, did I break it?

Today it was doing the same thing. Tried a different topper and it worked fine. Changed the coil in the other topper and everything is back to normal.

So I was just about to go post on the Cloupor Mini thread and I said to myself "you don't NEED any of this s^&t". Anybody else catch themselves?

I put things in my "carts" daily and remarkably have the willpower to refrain from pressing the checkout button. [emoji1]
