...ETA: BTW - What is the Maximum Battery Continuous Amp requirements for an istick?

That's a really good question, zoiDman. Not sure if you're aiming this question at anyone in particular...

eleaf doesn't really give us all the information required to determine max battery draw.

But using worst-ish case scenario; Watts-In-Watts-Out Formula and assuming:
-23.65W maximum output (5.1V into 1.1Ω - from pbusardo's testing)
-85% chipset efficiency
-3.0V low battery cut-off:

9.1 Amp maximum battery draw.

If replacing the iStick's battery, I would use a 10A model just to be on the safe side.

There are many unknown variables from eleaf. It's probably pulling somewhere around 8A in actuality. The internal battery probably has 5C max cont current.

A 10A battery would be enough. So besides the XXXXFire batteries Night Hawk mentioned, just about any 18650 is going to work.

So it Doesn't sound like an iStick doesn't need a very Special battery. Because a 10A Battery is pretty Low End by Todays Standards.

hmpf, hmpf, hmpf! you got to that sale in time and you ordered 1? bad tweety! :D

I ordered 2 right after seeing the post. Got an email from them saying this I replied that I would wait.

I got the very last one...

It's nice for fat tanks. But I prefer my iStick naked with 19 mm toppers.

Yes Ma'am. ;)

And congratulations!

I have a question to y'all about that adapter. Do we prefer the bendable or the generic AFC? I just want one that is the least obtrusive--I don't care if it bends (I'll never use that feature) and I can live without the floating pin (I have spacers). I just want one that does the job and is the most discreet.

Thanks.

I use mine in the car and it's winter here in Wisconsin. It's gonna be -12F tonight. It should help to get a better grip while wearing gloves. I still need to buy some delrin or plastic drip tips cuz that metal one is awfully cold.

Got my Smart-20 from FT today in the purple with blue spots. Here's the set up with Smart-20, FT clone nauti-mini, and coordinating drip tip from Vapor Beast. Now, if I could just find out where Kat gets all her bling, I'd be all set! :D

Not leaving the house, dear. Has the governor declared a state of emergency yet?

Only my dog enjoys this weather. :)
