Hilarious! Yeah, don't overspend on the spacer......

Hey zoiD? Do you have any clue why MV links no longer work here on ECF? I'm kurious.

Hi Kat, I'm not ZoiD :).... but I've been having problems with links to madvapes and LiteCigUSA for months now. They just don't work. Drives me insane because those spacers really work and every time I want to recommend them, I have to write a bloody novel... I even started a thread on the subject, didn't help much.

I love my 2 iSticks but have been paying close attention to the Joyetech eGrip thread for awhile. With the advent and good reports for the eGrip rba I ordered one each and received them Monday afternoon. Had some initial leaking problems but found some left over manufacturing contamination on the device/coil mating surface in the device and fixed that problem.

The eGrip is ~30% wider than the iStick but with a mini Nautilus on the iStick the eGrip with drip tip is ~2" shorter in height. It lacks any digital readout or numerically marked settings on the adjustment dial. Given that it provides in combination with the stock rba coil/wick an outstanding vape experience. The rba comes with 2 replacement coil/wick assemblies, a small screwdriver, a short length of kanthal wire, wick material and 2 replacement o-rings for the princely sum of ~$12.00 from Cignot.com., one of the most reputable vendors I know of.

I really like my iSticks but so far, despite the stated deficiencies imo, I absolutely love the eGrip with the rba! Bear in mind I already own Provari's including a P3, 2 Semovars and you name it.

With these new mini devices I'm rapidly getting over the huge tube mods when equipped with 18650 batteries. When these tube mods are configured with 18350's the battery life becomes too short.

What a long way things have come since I started nearly 5 years ago! To use a movie line "these are great days we're living bro!"

My standrad ProVari I keep in '650 mode & the mini in '490. Everything I use is topped with a different juice & I never know what I'm about to vape since I dont have them labeled. It makes for an interesting vape experience for which my tongue doesn't get bored (vapers tongue) vaping the same ole thing.

The all-in-1 nature of the eGrip makes it ideal for quick runs out the house but so far mine hasn't lasted a month. The 1st one, the usb port fell out. The 2nd isn't sealed properly causing juice to shoot up the inside & outside of the drip tip. Hopefully #3 will be the charm.

That's interesting as well as the Jan 15th 30w IStick to be seen soon! That will be the same as the regular 20w except for two things one need much more then the other! 30w instead of 20w. And where have been most of the complaints directed at? The spring loaded 510 connector replaces the 20w version's fixed in place 510! Eleaf iStick 30 Watt - $39.99 | Best Vape Deals

Now don't go anywhere yet! According to the Blogger there he advises not to even rush at this one since "through the grapevine" Eleaf is planning on putting out a 50w iStick later on?! I'll pass! And the one and only iStick sub ohm capable EBay entry was sold listing closed.

Both of the upcoming iSticks(30w & 50w) are sub ohm capable. There's posts on both over the past few days in this thread

I do something similar. At home my P3 has one flavor, a Semovar another and today the eGrip with yet another different flavor. My 2.5 Provari and mini 2.5 are currently retired.

My work routine carry devices have been the P3 for the drive and an Istick for the workplace. Monday it will be the P3 and eGrip.

The usb port issue on the eGrip I believe has been corrected on currently shipping units. Once I fixed the leak mine has performed flawlessly. It has been only a few days though!

Whatever the case I'm pleased to see the industry moving towards miniature yet still powerful devices.

That's Not so Great !

They only had a pink one in stock at the store. They offered me the silver one they had in the display case. I looked it over and tried it out, and it looked/worked great. I wonder if something happened to it while it was on display? That's the only thing I can figure.

We ARE vapers. Of course you couldn't stop yourself!

I'm not sure what is going on with MV (or some Fasttech) links? I kinda thought that it had Something to do with the way My Browser (IE11) was set up. Like Java or ActiveX Filtering.

If I Strip Off the all the Characters after the .html it works fine. The extra Characters has to do with Cookies I think.

Do a Mouse Over of the First Link below. I made that one. And I didn't allow Cookies from the MV Site.

Circuit Board Spacer

Now do a Mouse Over of this link. Which is the Original.

Circuit Board Spacer

Notice all the Extra Stuff after the .html ?

It could have just been a Funky unit from the Get Go.

Maybe a Wire was starting to come lose? Or a Chip gets Wonky when it gets Warm? Or there was Slight Demonic Possession?

Hard to Say.

BTW - I just Noticed that the ECF Changed my link and added ?acc=70efdf2ec9b086079795c442636b55fb to the end of it.

So it looks like it I the ECF Software that is to blame.

An upgraded clone? I wouldn't go near it. It would have to be upgraded in a big way to make any sense..

It would have to be retuned to RMS to actually output below 3.8V. The amperage limit would have to raised significantly as well. It would be a completely different device.

Caveat emptor.
I wouldn't buy the clone either. I don't know how it happened but I overlooked the clone part. I guess because they were already sold out and wishful thinkin. :)

I'm wantin to get the Bride of Bikenstein an istick. I think I might go ahead with a 20 watt since she only uses small clearos, nothin 22 mm. Yeah I put my email on a notification list for the 50w :)
