Well, I dropped my istick with the nautilus mini on it twice yesterday. Nothing at all happened, no cracks, shorts, or anything! My heart dropped to the floor though when it happened. I don't have any backup batteries.

This could be an excellent excuse to finally get the shmexy blue iStick I've been staring at for so long.

Rule 1 of vaping - gotta have backups for everything because all devices fail at some point be they pv's, batteries, chargers, charger cords, toppers - all of it.

I agree with the poster several pages back that the vape on my stick is preferable to the same on an RMS device. Not the first time I've heard this around here either. Altho I'd prefer the numbers to match the RMS's on the screen, I hope they keep this set to Mean. Just fix the darn threads- pathetic.

_early adopter and still going strong....

I would be careful talkin about the threads if I were you :D

Good to hear :) Do you think an iClear X.I / 2.1 ohm coil work well on the istick?
Not sure. I never tried that one. I've been using my Nautilus mini's on it and sometimes an Evod Glass. Dual coils seem to do the trick. I'm sure someone here can answer that for you.

From what I've read I thought a dual coil would work better. I bought several of the X.l's at 4.99 ea to sell and have a couple left.

Yes, the Nautilus and the Evod Glass are dual coils. I just looked up the X1 and that looks to be a dual also. You should be fine. :)

Yeah they have a funky lookin dual coil setup. They hit pretty good. Good flavor. They went about as quick as I posted them. That's all I have in dual coil except a couple of old Pro 3's somewhere and I that they would look too big for my wife's taste on the istick plus I've had leaking problems with them.

Be Veeeeeery careful with those threads. I think Protanks were always rough on all my mods and I agree that the ACV threads are a little better. When you get your Nautilus, you will find that the threads seem to be a match made in heaven for the iStick (Smooth as silk).

I like how you talk, "when you get your Nautilus" lol I was able to "work" the ACV and standard base onto (ACV with no issues) the iStick and once on they were fine. I don't plan on swapping tanks a lot so I will be leaving the base on the iStick and just removing enough of the tank to clean it and do maintenance/cleaning.

Has anyone had experience with shipping from VapeNW? I ordered an istick Friday the 2cd and there is no tracking info yet. The order status reads complete.

I just ordered my iStick from vapenw on December 30th. It shipped December 31st and after that USPS screwed it up. Should have been delivered on January 2nd but instead they shipped it from WA to RI then took THREE DAYS getting it to Illinois. I received it Monday rather than Friday. Point: vapenw good, USPS bad.

Pick up some Nautilus Mini's for the iStick. They are wonderful!
Genuine ASPIRE Nautilus Mini - 101 Vape
Sometimes I see good deals on them at ebay too, but not lately.

ETA- Sorry, just noticed that's out of stock. You can still get it from there when they're back in stock. There is an option in there to get notified when they're back in stock. That's a nice price.

Got it, thanks. If I decide to keep the istick20, I'll probably buy a couple or three.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about. Sounds like me. I have 4 and thinking about getting another. Just can't help myself. (The 'I can't just be satisfied with just one' syndrome).
Have a good night. :)
