The adapter wasn't listed. I was looking for it before I ordered mine but it was not in the listing at the time I ordered. Too bad cause I need one. I may place an order with My Freedom Smokes and include one of theirs. I finally came to the conclusion that the 30 is fully charged when it quits flashing. I suppose the 20 is the same. It wasn't in the literature that came with it and no one answered my questions about it. I finally got a full charge on it (I reckon) :)

Sorry, Bike. I didn't see your earlier inquiry.

When provided with USB power, the 20 & 30W iSticks show charging and levels the same way. When turned on and plugged in, the battery symbol, on the left of the display will flash a lightning bolt. When fully charged, the screen will be blank. When turned off and plugged in, a much larger battery symbol will run the length of the display. The symbol has five bars showing current battery charge and flashing remaining bars displaying the charging process. When fully charged, the display will turn off.

So with it on, just because it quit flashing and shows a lit full battery symbol, it's still not fully charged until the screen goes blank? Does that mean it turns itself off and I have to turn it back on to continue usin the pass thru?

If it was charging while on, no just press the fire button and your firing. If you were charging it off as I do, you do have to turn it back on before use.

Yes, that is true. The battery will shut off when it's done charging. Every battery I've ever owned does that. It will turn on by itself once you hit the fire button, and will start charging again to make up for the power used.

I ordered the new Eleaf Melo tank, was only $20! I saw one reviewer rate it just below the Subtank but ahead of the Atlantis. Price wise it beats both. :2cool:

Would like to know that as well. When I was looking at tanks, the cheapest I could find for the Melo was $33. For $20 I woulda given the Melo a chance, but I just decided to get a second kayfun.

I probably won't worry about getting a 30w until my three 20w's starts dying off. But I couldn't resist the mini istick, received 4 of them yesterday (one of each color), and they are not kidding when they say "mini"! They are adorable, and make my 20w isticks look absolutely huge. Since small size is more important to me than high wattage, the mini is my new favorite device.

I'm glad to hear people are liking the 30w, I do want it eventually because I really like the new top cap with the raised lip, and the fact that the pin is spring loaded. But with a total of 7 isticks between my 20's & minis, I think I am done buying for awhile. (much to my husbands relief)

Pretty much everyone who is selling them has them for around $20 on per-order. I only found one vendor that wanted around $31.

Ahhh. Now I get it. And, yeah, mine makes a bit of a rattle.

How do you people notice this stuff? :)

Ok, maybe I figured out how some of you notice Stuff like button rattle.

Are you noticing it because ... you are shaking the whole rig to - stir the tank? :) Seriously, is that it?

Not really, I noticed it the first time just holding it in my hand and heard the occasional rattle, that was why I gave it shake to see where that was coming from.

I guess being old has its advantages, my old ears can't hear the buttons rattle unless I literally hold it next to my ear and shake it :D

My iStick just died.. I had it for just 2 months, vaping it only around 2 days a week since I prefer my unregulated box mods.
It just would not start anymore, dead as a stone :(

Contact your dealer. Eleaf/Joyetech offer a 90 day warranty:

https://www.eleafus.com/warranty-terms.html

That warranty is only available if you purchased it through joyetech.us. But - if they offer that, maybe they offer their dealers Return credit inside of 90 days, too.
Worth checking into.

I noticed the tink tink sound when I first got my 30. I first thought it was firing, so I shook it to find it. Then after that I noticed it every time and way I moved it. I took a piece of clear packaging tape and cut it to fit above and adjacent to the button (on the flat part only). With that stuck on there, it solved the tink tink problem. I was considering it a temporary fix but so far it still works and I can't see it, so I'll leave it there.

No warranty for me, unfortunately, I'm from Indonesia and we have Chinese stuff a lot cheaper here, but all comes without warranty. You tested it in front of the seller, it fires, you go home and forget about getting replacements if you some how got unlucky.

Well, I took it apart already :)

..and tried to unwrap the foil off the battery, thinking that there is a 'regular' 18650 inside that I can reuse, which is a bummer because it is indeed a 'wrapped' battery! :D

P_20150117_233345.jpg

..tried to fiddle with it, and managed to sort of turn it on again! ..with shorting those pins circled in red..it fires, it reports resistance, but after 5 seconds or so, it goes dead again, and every time I short those pins it'll just go on again at 5.2W, and will not save previous settings..

..so, that's it, the end of my iStick..

You should repurpose the body by dropping a dna30 board in it :p

Oh sorry I got confused. I meant the Lemo, not the Melo. Dunno why eleaf released two atomizers that were so similar in name at the same time. The Melo isn't a rebuildable though, so I guess it's priced correctly.

It's a shame these vape companies are moving more towards the enclosed Aspire coils that are very difficult to rebuild. It's gonna be sad when the exposed wick Kanger coils are completely discontinued. The protank 2 coils are more expensive now too.
