Why is that? Do you know of some incidents?
In the Spanish forums and in Fasttech it seems to appear some complaints about burning circuitries on the Cloupor mini used while it was charging (in pass-through mode). It seems to be just a minor faulty quality check, something related to the battery used, or something non-related to the rest of those mods (which seem to work in pass-through mode flawlessly).
The iSticks (all of them) are advertised as pass-through capable. Also the Hana (originals and clones). But there is a relevant difference, if you are using the 1 A charging current than iStick can accept but Hana's cannot: my Stick heats up a lot when I'm chain-
vaping (as usual.....

) and charging it at once. I don't like that, so I refrain of charging when
vaping, even if it is more than probably safe. I consider this possibility as an emergency back-up (to vape or not to vape, that's the ultimate question.....

)
Other could have different experiences, or it might be a consequence of the pass-through scheme.
And there are forbidden-pass-through devices, being that because they cannot properly handle the heat or the process, as a cautionary measure, or because they are two in-line battery operated and they lack of the proper charging chip (for the balance of the charge between the two batteries). Some Sigelei-100 watts were reported with pass-through enabled capabilities but after a while that was scrapped down by Sigelei (and discouraged that use on the first devices), because some faulty electronics charged one battery to more voltage than the other......
