Personally i like pass-throughs to be on a side so i can set it down with a rda or Genni on top. If it was on the bottom it would have to be on the side... and leaking would commence. Not cool for dripper or genni fans.

I don't drip and my toppers don't leak therefore not an issue. I suspect the majority of istick users are not drippers either.

Read a post on ECF yesterday that said rockymountainvapor.com was having a sale. Never bought from them but I have not heard anything negative about them. Late last night I ordered an iStick 30W Full Kit using NEWYEAR15 coupon code and got the iStick for $31.50 with free shipping from Colorado. I have 9 other iSticks and this price was by far the best.

9 ISticks? You could have had a Provari!! Joking... I have 4 Isticks myself and no Provari here...( I am kind of surprised nobody else (Provari fanboys) said this before I did!

Just received my iStick 20 and a 30 from rockymountainvapor.com tonight. Ordered them the beginning of the week, before the sale.

Can't complain though, it was paid for with a contest Gift Certificate..:)..didn't cost me a dime. The 20 express kit was the stick and a ego adapter, the 30 was the full kit, charger and adapter included. And I was able to get both in basic black....

Thanks for this! I was going to wait until February to get an i30 (like SOMEBODY suggested ;)), but I couldn't pass this up and ordered a black one. Too bad they didn't have the silicone cases. Wanted the 510 to ego adapter and with no "Express" kit being advertised anywhere, this was a super deal for me. :)

Guess now I gotta go check out that FT Erlkonigin mini "clone" ... :p

What happens in February?? Why wait? Are there good sales?

You should like it....personally I like the iSticks better than all the other mods I have, including the vapor sharks.

I'm hooked on these isticks. Might get a mini while I wait on my 50's. I think the 30 will remain my favorite, though. I'm glad I didn't buy that ProVari. Now I can use the money on tanks and drippers...........or more sticks:)

Bike Bike Bike..... talk about a 180, eh? ;) You've become a bonafied Sticker! :D

I am Too! I have my index finger on the button for a black 20. That'll bring me 1 more and if I decide to get the pinkred one, then I'll have the set.

I don't know if that index finger of yours has already twitched, but I do know that a black 20 will be in the Classies soon. ;)

What happens in February??

The only thing I know of is the Chinese New Year, which means China shuts down for a couple of weeks, and supplies of everything dwindle worldwide.

So, if you want to order something, now is the time to do it--or wait til March.

I would think....it's my second and third sticks....
I like mine, but am still using my other mods regularly, my BV Spire has become on of my favorites.

Both aldenf and I thought that supply would likely be relatively plentiful by then, so pricing would settle down (i.e. probably become cheaper).

Neither of us could wait. :D

Guilty as charged. When vendors listed the 30W for <$35, I figured the chance of it selling for much less before the Chinese New Year was pretty slim. I am waiting for further purchases, however. With so many devices flooding the market, I'll wait until things settle a bit and clear front-runners establish themselves based on actual performance and user feedback. I have 4 30W devices now. That should get me through the next month and a half. :)

Honestly, I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my iStick 30w. People have been reporting that it fires .4 volts too hot compared to the display, based on their testing and charts.

I fire my KFL on my istick 20w and it hits very well at 3.0 volts, or according to pbusardo, 4.0 real volts.

I put the same tank on my istick 30w and it's barely producing vapor at 4.0 on the reader. Even at 4.2 I feel like it's not hitting as well as the 20w at 3.0 volts.

I'm feeling like I need to push it to 4.5 volts to get to the same level. Anyone else noticing that their 30w is less powerful than their 20w at supposedly equivalent voltages?

Like Alden just said in another thread, the iStick is not a ProVari... :p

Seriously, iStick's display is not necessarily very accurate. The 20 will not fire lower than than the actual battery voltage, so on a freshly charged battery, it's 4.2v... You're close enough.

Disclaimer--I don't own a 30 yet, but if you're within .3 or .4v, you're fine. Just set it to the voltage that feels right with your atomizer and forget the math, the charts and the displays.

I know, but I just find it puzzling, because another user actually had concrete testing and numbers showing it firing at 3.4 volts when the display was reading 3.0. Yet mine is the exact opposite, feels like it's firing 4.0 when I've got it at 4.4.

I'm a bit more critical right now because I know this is one of the first runs of isticks, since evape was one of the first places to have them. More likely to have defects on the first run.

I'd like to switch to the Naughty also, since it's a hybrid carto, but waiting until they sort out the controversy.
Then again, I'm not sure regular carto ingredients have ever been certified as safe.

Define certified? :D

Seriously though, we've been testing, ripping apart and analyzing every single fiber in cartomizers since 2009--they are OK. The silica rope (amorphous silica) used in wicks is perfectly fine and even FDA approved. The polyfill wrap is OK--as long as you don't burn it. It doesn't come apart and wicks reasonably well. A little cotton wrap (present is some but not all cartos)--ditto.

The problem with Aspire BVC coils is the possibility that their fiberglass/ceramic paper may actually contain crystalline silica, which is a big no-no when it comes to inhalation, as our lungs can't expel those tiny fiberglass particles and may cause silicosis and/or cancer. But it looks like Aspire is going to substitute Japanese organic cotton in their coils after all--as soon as they sell all the old coils. ;)
