Has anyone here ever used a car charger to charge the 30 watt? I have a phone charger that stays in my car and if I can use it for this then this will def find a home in my carry case.

Its so little that it actually fits in my case that I carry my Provari and kayfun in! The case is super slim but fits like a glove!

I have a friend who wishes to quit smoking. I am pushing him to get an Istick 30. Which is the best "plug and play" tank for this 30 watt device with replaceable coils? He knows nothing about rebuildables and I just want to point him in the right direction here.

Is there a seller who sells the Istick 30, a good tank {with the replacement coils} and the silicone cover so he can get it all from one place? Thanks in advance!

{I am clueless regarding these new, ready to go sub-ohm tank systems} :)
WORLDofVAPE - Best Vape - Best Price has the iStick 30 watt full kit, the Aspire Atlantis and coils for it. No silicone cases though.

Edit; They also have the Aspire Nautilus mini which is not sub ohm but still very good. It's not the best price for the Nautilus mini that I've seen though.

My silicone case arrived today. I paid the $7.50 or whatever on ebay, but I have no regrets. As stated above though....2 bucks is the more reasonable price. But here are some pictures. I freaking love this thing. I've been a big jwrap advocate, as they've served me well for all of my isticks, but this just feels slightly more right.

It makes it solid and adds just that extra padding that I wanted- and fits like a glove. Super tight, but in a good way. Basically, it's a good quality phone case for your stick. It also 100% eliminated the button rattle; which was pretty bad on my new 30w. The material is also much softer than I expected, but it's great.....except for the one downside. It's a lint magnet, which doesn't bother me much yet, but you'll see it in the pictures. Totally worth it in every way unless that bugs you.

Note, it's really hard to get good pictures, since I got the black case for my black stick. But in short, I highly recommend getting one.

Looks AWESOME!!! Color me jealous...:D

I went to the site posted above with the cases for $2, and alas, they are out of stock on the pink. I want 2 pink ones and one blue. So, my wait continues...

But congrats on yours! What you describe is exactly how I feel about the one I have for my eGrip. I haven't noticed any lint magnet on my pink eGrip one. Perhaps the black shows more than other colors??? Either way, I'm anxious to get some myself. Since I want 3, the ebay price tag was just too much for me.

From Eleaf's website regarding the original istick:

"How to charge?.
iStick is charged through USB port at the bottom. One can take puffs while it is being charged.
iStick supports charging with 1A wall adaptor which is more fast."

30w is 1A recommended too, so any 1A charger (cell phone chargers) will work fine.

A little off topic, but useful because they are in the same category.

IndoorSmokers just posted a video review for the MVP3. Looks like they made it even bigger than the MVP2, but it's 3800mah battery now. It even has a built-in charge cable. When Pbusardo suggested that in his MVP2 video I thought he was nuts and it was wishful thinking, but they did it.

I think this guy is kinda corny and his reviews are very general, but it's nice to see it in real life. Some of you may find him a little annoying too, so you can probably just mute and watch lol :p

For those that are interested, here is a link to a brief review on the iStick 30 I've recently received and been trying out for a few days.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/476013-innokin-itaste-vv-v3-owners-group-612.html

There are some pluses and minuses to the device - including one issue in particular that I don't see reported much, so you probably don't have to worry about it. Overall I think it is worthwhile getting one for use with large 510 connection tanks and RBAs that require some extra power above and beyond what you get with something like an eGo or an iTaste V3. If you don't need the power though (regardless of the 2200 mah the battery packs), and if you are happily using small eGo toppers without issue, then I wouldn't recommend the iStick 30. You can use it for eGo threaded toppers, of course, and the battery will last a long time between charges when used that way, but the iStick's extra size and weight make it less hand and pocket carry friendly for that type of use.

My 30 has all but replaced my other mods. I used to carry a VV3 a lot, out and about, but now it's gathering a little dust, too. Mainly because of it's short battery life.
Plus it lacks the power to run the "toppers" I like to use. I still keep some Menthol Tobacco juice in a T3S on it because it vapes nice @ 8W with enough flavor and cloud. I don't like a bigger hit with the tobacco and if all you vape is a tobacco flavor then I would recommend the V3, too. Otherwise, I'm a total "Sticker". Got 2 50's coming. The V4 is too long for convenience to me..

Oh my lord....I thought you were kidding- it really is bigger than the MVP2. Well, that just saved me a lot of money.

I'm glad I got the iStick. I definitely don't want bigger as far as physical size. I don't like the sound of a built in cord either. Sounds like something that would break and be a PITA. Just my thoughts.

Got my 30 watt today and Im having a problem. My Ehpro Kayfuns do not want to screw on this thing! My Protanks fit...my drippers fit but when I try to put the Kayfun on I meet a lot of resistance and Im afraid to try to screw it down anymore.

Kinda bums me cause Kayfuns are the majority of what I use. Does anyone else have this problem and how I might can fix it? The only thing I can tell is that the 510 connection is a little longer but with hat floating pin that shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't mind a little gap but you have to screw it all the way down for it to read it.

Seems like the resistance is more along the threads.

My Kayfun and Erlkonigin clones sit flush and work great on my iStick 30. In fact, all my RDAs and clearos are great on it as well. If your protanks & RDAs sit flush and work good, it is probably not the center pin. Sounds like you may have issues with the stainless threads on either (or both) your iStick or Kayfuns. Stainless is pretty hard. If the threads are slightly off on either/both, there may be a lot of resistance in attaching them. What were you running the KFs on before?

Personally, I would run a tap in the iStick and die on the Kayfuns, simply to clear the threads. Your only other option is to RMA the iStick.

Good Luck & keep us updated!

My Kayfun Lite Plus never fit flush on anything I used it on before, so that one doesn't surprise me. The Mini Nautilus on the other hand, that fits everything else flush just fine, so the issue is with my iStick 30, not the Mini Nautilus. The iStick's eGo adapter fits flush, but its 510 connection is 1mm shorter than my Nautilus's. The Nautilus fits flush to the adapter (which is not free floating, but appears to be screwdriver adjustable) without issue, and without adjustment.

Both Nautiluses would perform very well and extend battery life. The new SubTank Mini/Nano seem to be the ideal sub-ohm clearo for the iStick 30. The others are more "power hungry" and seem to vape best at 30W and above. I slapped a SubTank Mini on my iStick 30 yesterday at a B&M. It was brilliant from 15-25W. I still prefer my Erlkonigins & KFLs. But the SubTank was darned close.

I haven't come across one vendor selling everything you're looking for. I'll keep my eyes open.

Good luck!
