While I am not into sub-ohming or high watts, I have accumulated the equipment that I could.

I bought an istick 20 because I liked the form factor and the battery life. After getting it, I got curious about rbas, rtas and rdas. Those made me want a mod that I could sub-ohm or run high watts. So I ordered the necessary stuff to build an SX-350 60 watt box mod. I tried different builds on different tanks and found nothing that really enhanced anything, for me at least. I do love my Lemos though. Turns out, I don't like the feel of the square cornered box mod. So I now have an istick 50 on the way, mainly for the form factor and the terrific battery life. I could have been happy with less power. Anyway, I'm sitting here puffing on a drilled out T3S on an ego twist and liking it. This $#!+ is crazy. I've really been getting some strange looks from the wife.

Hi

I've just started using an istick 20w and I love it! But I was wanting to make it easier to carry around so I purchased a Bending Adapter. It works, but it doesn't sit tight on the istick unless it's closed with a tank screwed in. With the tank folded the adapter moves around. Not by much and it stays in its guide slots, but it's still annoying. I have tried tightening the adapter, but it is definitely in as far as it wants to go.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so has anyone found a fix? I like the idea of the adapter and plan on getting a small case to hold the istick with the folded tank. I'd feel better about it though if it didn't move when it's open.

Received my silicone cases from Sweet-Vapes today, and LOVE them!!! They fit like a glove, and give this great device an even greater feel! Plus, it kills any button rattle on the istick. ;)

So um...update. I said the exact same thing when I got mine. The silicone totally got rid of the rattle. But in the last couple of days, I think it stretched out a bit, and the button rattle is back. I still totally love the case, but I just want to throw that out there :/

Found a really nice device the new "EGO ONE".
This thing would be perfect for anyone you know that needs to get off the analogs with no fussing or fiddling with right out of the box.
They have them in 1100 mah (really small) or 2200 mah.
The amount of vapor is really impressive.
No it's not VV/VW, but does come with .5 and 1 ohm coils so you can lung or mouth to lung hit.

I have Istick myself, but this thing looks like you can drop it, and will keep on ticking.
Anyway you should have a look, just came out this past week.

Here's the 1100 mah

And 1100 mah with tank compared to istick.

I don't like tubes, I just want that tank, ...when they make an RBA for it!
It's shorter than the istick and looks like it would be perfect on the bending adapter.

To call your post disingenuous would be generous. ...at best. That picture was taken from a device that was run, admittedly, out-of-spec. IMO irresponsibly so per Kangers official documentation. The Subtanks are fantastic devices and pair perfectly with the 20 and 30 watt iSticks.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-kangertech-subtank-mini-52.html#post15226174

Kanger SUBTANK-MINI product information KangerTech

You're right and I apologize. I should have read Mac's post more carefully and explained that the coil was stress tested at 45 watts and that he considered the practice unadvisable. As it were, I just grabbed the picture to illustrate my general uneasiness with high wattage vaping and its possible dangers. Kanger recommends 30 W max for those coils. I'll edit my OP.

Having said that, I'm still uneasy about what happens when we vape at very high temperatures. Dr. Farsalinos is conducting a study on the subject as we speak and I, for one, can't wait to see the results.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/e-cigarette-research-temperature-of-evaporation

"Continuing our commitment for unbiased research on e-cigarettes, we are now launching a new campaign for what we consider to be THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect in e-cigarette safety and future development: TEMPERATURE OF EVAPORATION. Although e-cigarettes do not combust any material, heat is necessary to generate the vapor (aerosol) which is subsequently inhaled by the users. This can result in thermal decomposition of some e-cigarette ingredients, releasing potentially toxic chemicals (most commonly aldehydes, such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and acrolein). Until now, no study has systematically evaluated temperatures inside the wick, while we have observed several methodological mistakes in assessing aldehydes release (e.g. ingoring that higher wattage is associated with less puff duration in realistic use)."

Joye eGo ONE Tank XL - Stainless

p.s

That little 1100 mah is cute....as long as you don't mind it dying in 2 or 3 hrs...hehe.

$17.50 for a 5 pack of heads. Same as the egrip head price, but I like the egrip RBA so much better.
I just saw they have an RBA head for their Delta II now, so, maayybe.... I can hope.

It's defnitly an emproovment ovah the regulah pen stile bats, but at 4 tee 5 quid, itsa lit' l pricee , mate.
I'd rather have an istick mini.:2c: :)

I do understand that.
I'm just saying for someone just starting, this would be or "should be" the go to device to convert them.
And i did mess up my previous istick by dropping it. The top chrome part that holds the tank started to wobble, and things got worse from there.
I just wanted to let folks know...it's pretty impressive with that ego one tank.....

Hell, i'd get that tank at least and some 1 ohm coils !.

Just picked up my iStick 30w from a local B & M store today. Whilst I was happy with my 20w iStick I must admit the improvements are very good. The treading is nice and smooth and with the adjustable pin no more prying up the pin when it gets to squashed down.

Very impressed. looking forward to picking up the 50w when available for the battery life more than anything.

Seems to match my recent "journey" exactly. (If it's an Eleaf "scheme" it's an awfully smart one):

20W-iStick...has some flaws but I LOVE it...

30W-iStick...has NO flaws and I LOVE it...

50W-iStick...NO flaws and 4400 mAh...WOW!!!

It is nice looking. I would also have to see one in person though. They use BIG HANDS in those picks!!
Yeah, the batts only 58.5 mm, so it is small. I would probably grab a mini instead.

I was kinda kidding about the rattle. It's just that there has been so much "rattle talk" in this thread, thought I'd let everyone know that this case took care of rattles too. I'll be on the lookout for my rattles to return, tho. ;)

Ditto.

Just got mine today. I'm very happy indeed. I love the size, the 510 connection, the voltage output seems to be what it should be. No rattle whatsoever. I have my Emow mega on it at 4.3v and it's vaping like a dream (I had it at 3.2 volts on the iStick 20).

50W-iStick...NO flaws and 4400 mAh...WOW!!!

Don't need one. ;)

If you hate to be that guy, don't be that guy.

Telling a fellow vaper to ditch his gear is rarely helpful--unless he's using CE4 clearos. [emoji38]

Kanger makes very good tanks--I've been using them for over two years now without a problem. Really.

Just sayin'...
I know I know I deserve it but it's just that my vape experience has improved ten fold post protanks, there's so many cheap options out there. Oh well *sits in corner *
