Ya'll are a little late on your recs, but I did prime the coil on the side and the top before I put it together and let it sit 15 minutes. I think I read somebody recommend doin that earlier in the thread. The reason I asked was because it looked like a little carto thing. :) I'm still testing the first one.

Well... Step on it, honey. I've got things to do... :p

Ordered my istick 50w late Saturday afternoon and it was waiting on me when I got home, talk about FAST. I like it even better than the original 20w in every way, it fits in my hand perfectly and works great with the subtank mini I also got today. I cant wait to throw the KF V4 on it and see how it does.

    Oh, there's a bad word in the link... I didn't realize it...

    510 atty with a bridge:

    Bridge removed:

Thanks for the pics. That looks like a piece of silica in there. No wonder it tastes so bad dry hittin it. I thought there was only wire mesh in it. It's easy to see how the bridge holds more juice. State of the art :D

Big question. Does it adjust the volts along with the Watts when you put in the atty? Like how the Sigeli does it, adjusting both apppropriatly according to your Ohms? Or does setting it in wattage up or down only obey that wattage, giving you the right volts too?
Never mind, I re-read your question but the voltage has to adjust even if you adjust the watts in watt mode. :)

All but the iStick Mini are both variable voltage and variable wattage devices. In vv mode, we set the voltage for a target wattage calculation we do in our heads, based on the resistance of the coil and Ohm's Law. In vw mode, we simply set the desired wattage and the device applies the appropriate voltage.

OR we simply start low and bump up the setting until we find what we like. This works in BOTH modes.

    Good luck!

The Ohm's Law can't be defied.

Wattage = Voltage squared divided by resistance.

You can only change two variables in that equation. The resistance is determined by the atty you're using and can't be manipulated, so now you have either the wattage or the voltage to play with. You change your wattage, the voltage will be automatically adjusted by your smart chipset. :D

OK. If you're interested. My first impressions of the GS Air. First hit. Nothin but Air. Lives up to it's name. Sorry gotta go grate some cheese for the pizza for Mrs. Bike. I'll post later

Well, just adjust that little screw between the two air holes and you'll get more juice, and less air!;)

Blueberry 50% boost and No boost- which do you like better? The prices are cheap enough and a good selection. Only 2 VG levels except for the Cloud specialty juices. Never saw a Grits flavor before. Might try em in the future. I've always liked to stay around 15-20% flavor in my juices. I don't know what these start at.
You sure have a good supply! Is the darker Blueberry an older juice? How's that Banana? Cherry and Banana seem to be your favorites. :)

Boost: smoking straight juices I liked 20 - 30 boost (i prefer my flavors a little strong) But even before DIY I had started mixing those making some pretty unique flavors. What is left there is the remnants of several I used as mixers. Yes the darker Blueberry was a bottle that the cats knocked off the counter new but wasn't found under a bookshelf till it had spent several months in daylight instead of my juice cabinet. I will still use it as a mixer along the way though. :vapor:

Another old pic :) Showing the "washer" vs. the metal mesh base around the ceramic pot:

Grabbed off google thumbnails where the picture is already gone, so don't know how long these will last :)

The GS was giving me a high air to cloud ratio that I didn't like. I don't understand why others feel it isn't airy enough. I don't really like what I call a tight draw except for tobacco vapes for some reason, that's why I do those in a T3S. So I got my little screwdriver out ( I have a bunch but I think one out of an eyeglass repair kit would work great) and turned it down a bit. I still couldn't get it right for some reason. Either too tight or too much air, so I changed the drip tip to a smaller hole one and that made it perfect. I'm getting plenty of cloud, and I like that I can fine tune the draw. The flavor is there as good or better than any BCC I've owned. I'm anxious to try another juice since this one is Max VG and already mutes the flavor. So it may be a bit better flavor producer than I think. One thing that really impresses me is that I can turn it up to 16w and it still vapes great without burning. I can probably go higher. I've been playin around with the power from 8 - 16w to see where flavor is best. But even at 16w with 80 VG no dry hits so I'm impressed with the wicking ability. So far no leaks or flooding. It seems like it's the tank described by everybody. I appreciate all that recommended it and for bein straight up about it. My experience is with people hyping something up beyond it's actual performance, not in this case. But I knew who to trust before I bought these. :) I have to give it 2 thumbs up for performance and value. Can't believe the price.

That's exactly what I did and it works great. I first took it out like I was recommended but quickly found out it was too much air for me. I've put some 65/35 Circus Bear in and it's getting better flavor than the Max VG. It's a bit of a little juice hog but that's the way it goes. More clouds more juice. But not too much. I think I like Tootle Puffin :D
