I received my new 30W about 2 hours ago
Original tracking said I would not receive it until Monday

It seems very different then my 20W; I guess there is a new learning curve between them

I am still trying to figure out the settings I want in using my mini's and my evod glass II's on the 30W

also there is no instruction in switching between Mean and RMS in the manual (I am used to my 20W Mean settings)

I think it's just RMS.

The i stick mini is certainly mini -- it's the short one, and quite adorable.

Yes IMR I believe you are correct
But I also thought you could switch it also to Mean in the settings

You might have been thinking of another "itty bitty" as this feature or similar has been mentioned with some of them -- perhaps the ipv mini?

I suggest you run the 30 at a bit higher wattage than what you used with the 20 for the same vape. One of the biggest complaints about the 20 watt was that it ran hot due to the mean.....and not like a large majority of other previous regulated mods.

Howdy tearose50

Thank You for the suggestions!
I have found I have to use a higher wattage on the 30W or voltage then my 20W to get anywhere near a similar Vape

Its very possible I had read you could switch between RMS and Mean in discussions over in Thread: Little itty bitty mods under $100.
And somehow got confused related to the an other "itty bitty" and the iStick 30?
I did know that at least the iStick 30W default is RMS and the IStick 20W is MEAN!

Thanks for your help it's appreciated!

According to this thread on Reddit, the iStick 50W has a hidden feature:

http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/2zt76f/istick_50_watt_hidden_feature/

"If you turn off the device an press the fire button ten times in a row, so once it comes on (5presses) do another 5 all in one go, the screen reads 'temp 27' or whatever the temp is of the device. Pretty cool"

It apparently gives the temp of the chip in Celsius.

Doesn't work on my 20W. May on the 30W.

I believe Brusardo's review said it switches itself to mean over a certain wattage. This isn't settable, it's programmed in.

Thanks Carnage9270,

that could also be why I thought this, as I did see Brusardo's review a couple of times and maybe missed "its programmed"
