I've given WOV alot of my business too. They have fair prices and keep markup even across the board and super fast shipping. I won't do business with company's that have a high markup then offer a discount. To me that is dishonest.:)

Evie I completely agree with you about WoV!

WOV seems to constantly have in stock the very latest version's of anything they sell

Prices are very competitive, shipping speed is extremely fast, they must have a special arrangement with their carriers

I used to buy a lot from My Freedom Smokes, but buy very little from them now and only when they have a sale
I no longer trust them anymore for several rasons!

I know. Their Lemo Drop is $44.95.

I just got one from Ovale for 24 bucks shipped! :)

Yeah.....exactly.....what the heck is with that?

I suppose they hope someone Googles 30W iSticks and their site pops up toward the top of the search and just buys them at exorbitant prices.

Then gouge the customer cuz he/she doesn't know any better.

That is a standard business practice. They want other companies to buy in bulk from them. Why would any site carry their items if they undercut. Typically the manufacturer sells at MSRP and everyone else sells below.

"Typically" the manufacturer only wholesales the product.

I did--you can dry burn coils with amorphous silica rope type wicks, like Kanger coils. Dry burning cleans the coil and the wick at the same time.

See my favorite video: :D

Yes maam, but you have read all the propaganda about silca fibers in your lungs I ASSuME? Then made your decision to use them.

Kind of ironic....Eleaf sells their products for more shekels than online vape shops. That makes a lot of sense....:glare:

https://www.eleafus.com/istick-30w.html

Eleaf iStick 30 Watt Base Kit

Eleaf is a factory AND a Manufacturer, NOT A LOW LEVEL SHOP; they have world wide dealers and world wide Stocking Wholesale Warehouse Distributors to protect

For their Factory store their prices are fair
In fact Eleaf has very fair prices for anything they sell anyway they sell it
I think they are very competitive compared to others

Think about the low price you can buy an iStick in any wattage or i.e a GS Air for
They could charge much more money then they do

Another thing I like about them. Whatever product you pull up they describe it in detail what the manufacture says about the product then they give their impression and experience, tips etc. They list others comments and rating then they connect You Tube reviews for you to watch. They give you everything to make an informed decision. And for instance if you buy a tank they will link the correct coils that go with it. Look up the Atlantis tank and they even have a link to the Melo coils that fit the Atlantis also and vice versa. They go the extra mile and as a customer in a sometimes overwhelming industry I really appreciate it. I've been to some sites that you can't even find how many ml the Atlantis holds.:(

There are different kinds of silica.

One kind is OK for vaping--and it's been discussed on this forum for quite some time, long before Aspire introduced their fiberglass/ceramic wicking material. ;) Amorphous silica, commonly used in wicks by all (or most) e-cig manufacturers, has been deemed safe by our resident chemists and is even approved by FDA for use in food and medicine.

The other kind, the crystalline silica, or fiberglass, also often referred to as ceramic, originally used by Aspire in their BVC coils, is the kind of silica that has caused the controversy.

Please read this post by tenshi, and this one by Boden, and this one by Kurt, our resident chemist and a person I trust completely in all matters related to chemistry.

More on the subject:

"Amorphous Silica: Multiple studies have found amorphous silica to be biologically inert when
ingested and inhaled, with the exception of extruded fiberglass and ceramic fibers (which have been
designated as carcinogens by the National Toxicology Program), which are hazardous due to their
very small size and their high length to width aspect ratio. Because of this inertness, the US Food
and Drug Administration permits the use of amorphous silica (not fiberglass or ceramic fibers!) in food
and medicine.
"

Just for the record.

The yellow part looks to be a flexible seal also. The orange seal appears to compress it as the pin is pushed down. They drew 2 small squares in the left image below the orange washer seal that I don't think belong there. At any rate it looks like a fair seal is provided.
Yes yellow, but it still looks a little orange to me, the washer looks red...:)
I think the two small squares represent where it fits into a channel on the pin.

So the Aspire bvc coils are dangerous to vape with?

I think the two small squares represent where it fits into a channel on the pin.

The orange seal fits in a machined groove. The yellow one doesn't, it's just compressed against the pin by the orange washer. I really think one or both of us are a little color blind...:D

Edit: The orange part may not even be a seal. It is likely a metal circlip or it could be a harder rubber material. It has to be stiff enough to continually compress the yellow part. I'm curious enough to go back and find the disassembled one to see. The 2 small squares in the first illustration are not explainable except as an error and even disappear in the second diagram.

When am I gonna learn to listen to you Bike? Actually that was some enlightening and interesting information. However I have transitioned completely to rayon even though I have a large amount of Rodeasian organic cotton that was loving farmed by virgin nymphs going stale. ;)
