I'm rethinking this whole "stockpiling" thong as I look at the BOXES of vape gear that I've outgrown....methinks, I'll just get "enough" and a couple of backups to sustain me until the next wave of shinyitis and co-ops strike! ;):D Then it'll be PIF time again....:)

:2c:

:)

I never buy more than 1 of anything vape-related, and I never buy first editions. Everything gets tweaked at least once...before becoming obsolete.

Just :2c:

Welcome back.

I think it's the pic of your family. :)

Oh yeah...this pic means a lot to me!

The young lady in the background with the white tshirt on is 7 months younger than my daughter. They grew up together and are best friends so the family tradition continued with a 2nd generation.

Thanks. Yes, this is where I got a lot of my stock from. They keep bringing that sale up. :) It's an awesome deal! Right now I'm vaping on the new coils and they've seem to go okay today. Maybe I was right about getting some duds. Let's hope so. :)

This is simply amazing. My experience was quite the opposite. When I inquired about why they hadn't sent me the older Nauti small hole coils I had requested in writing with my order, customer service thought I wanted BDC coils.

Hoping my discussion with customer service inspired them to investigate further and separate out their older BVC and newer BVC stock.

I'll not chance it again.......good luck all.

On sailboats with no inboard engines electricity is a luxurious commodity. But no engine makes for all the fun!

cool didn't know you were talking about a sailboat, just a boat

fyi besides being a marine engineer I am also a licensed captain

anyway now I understand also why you were talking about using what you were was because no electricity

Capt....yes, I bought them.....used one, the other 19 are sitting on my shelf---------:D

More wasted money.......:)

I posted a picture of one on the 50W iStick here in this thread, god knows where.

Someone suggested I put a drip tip on it prior to usage, (perhaps Kat?)

I was complaining about the heat, almost welded my lips to it-------:lol::lol:

Do NOT tell me you vaped a 510 atty withOUT a drip tip? ? Oh no........

Thanks, that's about $40 shipped for the whole kit which is the cheapest I've seen so far tonight, but I'm trying to keep it below 40. The cheaper the better cuz I know he's got a little kid he's taking care of.

Oops.

They have a 13% off coupon this month too.

Just googled it, thanks! That's $35.58 shipped for the whole kit. Nice deal. Have any idea where they are located? Just wondering how long it would take to get here.

Yeppers, mine was with some March discount code as well, and they are in Brooklyn. It took precisely 5 days to get to me, including the Sunday in between.

Just trying to keep you alive, dahrling. This forum wouldn't be the same without you. ;)

Somehow...... just somehow...... I have the distinct feeling the Forum would survive without me. But hey, let's not chance it, right? :D

We used them to clean coils--they work just like vodka or PGA. But honestly, only a dry burn will get rid of coil gunk... I don't soak my coils any more.

All this talk of wodka... anyone have some tonic, perchance?

A nice powerpack could do too, specially the 5400 Anker I carry around for my phone and Kindle, but I read so much on the boat that I'd rather take a double batt device. I bought it before the iStick 50w showed up, so I'd better make good use of it.
Started sailing as a child, with my parents, and been a pilot (licenced, no mileage or power restrictions) since 2003. But after a heart attack and two bad hips I no longer own a boat and impose my will on friends to take me along. ;)

I took the screws out of both ends and then decide to stop there until I hear back from Evape US. The buttons make it a little difficult to just slide the innards out and I didn't want to risk damage yet. The new one is workin nice :)

Evape US is replacing my 40w even though I bought it Jan.11 :)

Dear Bikenstein,

New answer was just posted on your ticket: iStick 30w.

Answer:

Hi Bikenstein,

Sorry about the late response. We are currently updating our customer support system and having a few glitches. I havn't seen this issue with an iStick yet but it doesn't sound good. We will replace it or provide a refund.

Thanks,
Dave
