Don't know how that Euro plug power adapter will work out here in the US -- we all probably have 1 amp USB chargers laying around though..... If they did not have "Styled" in the description I don't know you you can tell the difference. Probably made in the factory of a cousin of eleaf's CEO.....lol

edit: looking at the description again I did not see any mention of spring loaded center pin. I don't know if that is "assumed" but Angelcig does seem to have good creds.....

Nice to see someone else reads product descriptions too. Hard to say say what we'll actually get. The box shows the "US" box checked not the "EU" box. I've only had good experiences with Angelcigs thus far. They respond to email quickly. "Angel" is active here on ECF too.

ETA: At this price, I'm tempted to get another, along with a SubTank Mini "styled" atomizer for $21.

 on Angelcigs. I've ordered from them several times.
If you want a 'clone' of something, their prices are often even better than FT and the shipping is less than a week.
The Erlk clones are a steal at $5 - I have 3 of 'em.
Just got a Shield 'style' RDA - was listed for $4 - it changed to $1.99 when added to cart. Amazing.
However, I made my recent 30w purchase from mount baker - $30 for the whole kit.
$10 to avoid the unknown was worth it to add a 2nd 30w.

I'm impressed with their inquiry reply response.... sent a note late yesterday about the 30 Watt device and below is the reply.

Me:

Comment: hello,
I am interested in the following product:
iStick 30W Styled 2200mAh Variable Voltage / Wattage APV Box Mod Red - See more at: iStick 30W Styled 2200mAh Variable Voltage / Wattage APV Box Mod Red

I reside in the United States of America and noticed it said it had a "Euro plug power adapter". Will products shipped from your US facility have chargers suitable for our electric system?

Thank you very much

Angelcigs:

Hey friend ,

I am not sure ,it can be suitable ,i think

Not exactly an in depth reply, but I get the drift that one would receive "Euro style" rather than US plug.

FWIW I have an istick 30 that (I think) got over fired. Kept getting an " atomizer short" message. The problem wasn't the 510 pin, it needed a hard reset (i.e. Battery disconnect). Had to unsolder and then resolder negative connection to battery. Works fine now.

Ugh. I feel like a dog marking my territory, sigh. Tapatalk "unmarked" all of my participated in threads. So, I'm participating. A family portrait.

Good job, Off cigs!

I think many problems people have with the iSticks (20, 30 & 50) could be corrected by doing the same thing. These are little computers. Computers sometimes need a reboot. Eleaf could make this process simple by adding a reset button...

Well, if you already had to get inside to break the connection, it would probably take 10 more minutes to solder in a micro-switch
the break the circuit and drill a hole for it. Rat Shack should still have the switches.

I just got a new phone or a small computer (I can't tell). Have to carry it in my front pocket now. Formally my iStick pocket. I decided to cut slots in the leather iStick case and carry it on my belt. So far so good! :thumb:

I like this phone case I found for the 50s. It slips in and out easily while fittin snugly in there. Quick easy draw with the Velcro. :)

Well, I could probably be the poster boy for the most boneheaded electronic dis-assembly job in history.:-x One of the up/down tact switches was sticking so I decided to tear into the 20 Watt stick. I did get a nice set of T drivers btw for the project and I'll post the link at the end of this post. My original need for a T5 was to see if the 510 connector was shorting out... that is now secondary....lol

In the process of taking the stick apart, I missed one "minor" detail -- removing the buttons for the tact switches and hence tore one of the switches apart. I have the pieces, but no way can I put it back together.
Does anyone know where I can source those switches? I have the necessary equipment to remove and replace the switches, just need to find out if I can buy them somewhere. I have managed to set the stick at my usual wattage so I can probably use it sans the buttons, but it will drive me nuts looking at it all torn up. I must say I'm impressed with how they managed to jam all that circuitry into that small package though. It looks like a first class design job. I can't get over how small components have become.

Here's the link to a nice (inexpensive) set of drivers from Amazon.com. If you have Prime, it's a heck of a deal.

I think it would help dis-assemble many different devices.
Hope it is OK to post this link. For the amount of use I'm going to give these drivers they may as well be WISA's....lol

Thanks for your help......

edit: Oh boy.... I didn't know the link would post a display ad....

I hope you can find the right switches for your iStick but if you can't Fastech has a 20w board that looks like it will replace your old one for around $10. $9.15 iStick 20W Styled VV/VW APV Box Mod Control Module - 3-5.5V / 2-20W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
