Yep! And had to take out a loan to do it

Good night, RIMP. Sleep well.

Seriously, 3 of us started out vaping together in my family. We had to have at least 3 of those tiny batteries each just to keep our sanity and always have 1 charged to use. It was a ton of work for sure. You really had to want to make the switch to go through all of that. It was a PITA

Funny......I was just thinking pretty much the same thing!:toast: It's a $35.00 device!......and it works pretty well to me! I haven't been this impressed in a mod since I got my ProVari Mini about 2 yrs ago. I've had an MVP (didn't really care too much for it, and it died within a week). I've had two Chana mods that either gave me firing issues, or just fried the chip on it's own, and other stuff that costed 3 times as much, and didn't deliver HALF of what this little box mod can do. Sure it's not a ProVari 3, or a hand crafted precision mechanical.....BUT....it's a NICE, inexpensive, feature packed device, that is PRETTY impressive to most of us that have them. Like I said....It's $35.00.....NOT $350.00.

Not sure if anyone cares but I took some pictures of my red/pink/fuchsia colored iStick next to a hana mini and MVP (version 1) for size comparison.

Fabulous device! Very happy with mine, especially since there's no sleep mode like the hana, it direct fires and I guess i just got used to having to press and wait but yea... Instant gratification now lol.

I'm really looking forward to it myself. I was using Halo Tritons, but now mostly EVODs for over a year of tobacco-free vaping. I feel blessed to have all the affordable options now that others here did not have when they started. I am impressed with all the wisdom I see here. Hoping I'll have my Gator Blue iStick by mid-week. GO GATORS!!!

i go through about 6 ml's of liquid/day in my kayfun, i charged this thing first thing this morning and im still going on the same charge.
the battery indicator shows half but im guessing its getting toward the cut off. i am super stoked about this, no more stuffing blue foam in a pyramid shape into a black plastic thingy.
i even put a small straw in there so i could get few more drops in it!!
lol oh those were the days.
those who switch to vaping today are so fortunate.
i paid $99 for a single ego 750 mah battery when i started.
istick is NOT for new vapers only, this is such a piece that even tho ive been vaping over 3 years (ive got zmax's/mech mods etc) and as of now i dont see myself using anything but this.

It seems funny to me. Someone makes a nice affordable mod like this and it gets lots of gripes. $300 items no one gripes about their shortcomings, reverse polarity protection, buck circuitry, etc.
Amazing

I spent almost $200 on my VaporShark and there's some (pretty basic IMO) things it lacks, so to spend $35 and get the features I already have and quite a few more, I'm thrilled! I just can't wait to get this tiny cute thing in my hands lol.

I remember when I first started, I payed 144.00 dollars for (4) 280 batteries with a cartomizer that 3 out of 5 didn't have any flavor. I upgraded to a Riva when they first came out which was 55.00 for a single battery and added another battery for back up. The use of tanks and clearomizer, you would end of with more juice on you vaped. I have 2 esticks on order and I plan on using an EMOW tank with a 1.5 ohm atomizer. Start at the bottom of the watt scale till I find my sweet spot. I believe in keeping it simple. So they are offering me a compact box mod for 34 dollars and from everything I have read I don't think I can beat the price for what it does. I have been looking on the Eleaf usa website and I am curious about the tanks that they have on line with the colors see how they might work. But we have came a long way in the tech in the last 4 years.

I'd been thinking of getting one of these as an additional vapeversary present. But if it doesn't do low wattages well, I'm not sure. I'd love the additional battery life, since I mostly use my VV v3s now, since I do have problems with the MVP button. But I mostly vape 2.2-2.4 ohm at 6 W, and don't like going any higher, and it is sounding like this will be higher on a freshly charged battery.

You may like it better at 4 or 5W but you will not have an issue using the iStick with 2.2 - 2.4 ohms IMO I am using a 2.2 ohm dual coil right now at 6W and it is fabulous. I am also not a high wattage/ high heat vaper and I love my iStick.

ETA- I have a few friends that do not care for high heat and they have all loved the iStick as well. They do use lower wattage than they normally would on other mods but, no big deal.

Pretty much my experience. When the first Rivas came out, we paid $89 each for 3 kits and they were heavenly compared to the minis. No more sucking a marble through a straw at that point :thumb: They were all the rage! Then LF came out with a Riva kit for $30 and could not keep them in stock.

I haven't owned a mod, liquid or topper that someone hasn't griped about.

I also don't think there have been many gripes here, mostly just passing on our experiences and interests.

Like other's have said -- I was more interested and excited about this mod than any in quite some time, years in fact. Zero regrets on getting one, too.

I agree! These are the most exciting and different mods to be released in quite some time. Only so much that can be done with a tube style mod IMO
