I suggest that you wait until you have yours and base your concerns or lack of on how it works for you ;) You just can't go by people saying that it "tastes burnt" or "seems to be too hot". Those are not facts based on real evidence or testing JMHO.

However, for those of us who would like this to be the best thing since sliced bread but who do prefer vaping at low wattage/voltage what these people are saying is very important in making a buying decision. For me there would be no reason to buy this at all if it won't go as low as it says that it will.

Based on what I'm reading here I'm not going to buy one until I can find out for sure that it does what it says it can do. I don't think that you have any reason to be dismissive of other people's concerns.:2c:

Not at all sure how you thought that I was being dismissive. I simply stated truth. What does not work for one or 2 does not mean that it will not work for all low wattage vapers. As I have stated many times, I am a low wattage vaper myself and love these. The person that I was replying to stated that he has concerns because of the confusing facts in this thread. Not sure how pointing out that they are opinions and not facts is being dismissive. Remember, we all have a right to an opinion and to state what they are :)

Maybe ZM said it better than I did but, it has been echoed by many thoughout this thread.

I am Also.

And I like to Deal with Actual Numbers. Not calculated Numbers. Or Opinions of May or May Not be going on.

I'm not saying that some people's iSticks can't go below the Battery Voltage. Maybe they Can't? But I would Rather see someone who can Accurately Test Output Voltage on an iStick report what they Find.

VapeNW is now sold out!

So VapeNW is now offering pre-orders with delivery mid-October @ $29.99.

I procrastinated too long to have one in hand, so now I need to decide on VapeNW or Vapor Tek if I want one.

Wow. It will be interesting to see when these vendors actually do get them in stock. Pretty sure that China has a holiday coming up the first week in October.

You cooked it, didn't you...

I had to Know.

There was Only So Many Times I could put an 18650 up against the iStick thinking it Has to Fit.

I was so Careful Not to push (or even Touch!) the power button as I pried up the - button to see what was Underneath. I kinda got Tunnel Vision in my 10X Visor World. Didn't consider that the Board was Hot since the Battery was Hard-Wired to it.

I Blame the Fact that this iStick is so Darn Affordable. If it had been More Expensive, I could have Resisted the Urges Better.

That, and an Efest 16850 that was just sitting there egging me on.

20140924_193856.jpgMy Eleaf Istick just came in from ordering at heavengifts.com today. Came in at work when I was expecting them to get to them on September 30th so it was a super huge surpise to get it this early.

Initial thoughts: I vape at work so luckily I could just hook up my spheroid onto it. I have to say, it looked small when I was watching youtube vids on it. Even looked small in pictures, but it even surprised me just how small it really is in person. The best way I can explain how big it is, is if you took 2 bic lighters and taped them together, thats about how big this thing seems to be. Or maybe chopping 3/5th off of a snickers bar.

Weight: Feels solid and high quality. This is a step up for me, coming from a itaste vv3. Its heavy enough to where I wouldnt want to drop it. Looks and feels like it cost way more than 35 dollars. Def looks better in person than online. Buttons feel solid as well. There is no looseness or rattle in the buttons. Only when I shake it, is there a slight rattle in the button or from the inside...i cant really tell but its ever so slight.

Vape: Vaping it at 8watts right now on a 1.3ohm coil. It feels hotter than than 8watts though...But the only fram of reference is from my itaste. Id say 8watts on this feels like 10watts on the itaste. Maybe im just dillusional. Using parrallel 32 gauge wire now, but I will go home to set up 28guage 1.2ohm coil on this and try to vape it at higher wattage.

Conclusion: First day with this thing, but from what I feel and have been vaping, This thing seems like a steal. SO happy with it now. It feels like a HUGE jump in quality compared to the itaste vv3.

Somewhere out there
This must be the most craptastic camera I have ever used. :(

I did find that it worked well with an odd 2.3Ω coil at ~5.8W.
It maxed out at 16.8W on a 1.8Ω coil in a dripper. It worked ok there too. Not enough power for this, but nothing weird happened.
Odd things seem to happen most everywhere else as most people are experiencing.

What type of battery is in it actually?

I'm waiting for the $9.95 clones. :D

Seriously... glad most everyone here likes theirs. Let's hope you all feel the same way in a couple of months. Perhaps we have something here that will be so popular it spurs on more lookalikes. I'd love to see something this tiny exceed 3000mah.

I hope that I still love it in a few months as well. I bought from EleafUS so have a 6 month warranty. Anything happens in 6 months or less, I will get it replaced.
